42 We are really bound by fate

“Would that be convenient? You seem to be busy.” Fang Yao walked over to Yin Xun’s car and bent over slightly to peer through the window to see her.

“It’s no problem,” Yin Xun instantly answered. “I’m just going to act in a show. There’s no hurry.”

With that, she quickly threw open the front passenger door for Fang Yao.

Fang Yao, “…”

!!

He had not even said where he was going.

“Where are you going? If it’s on the way, I’ll hitch a ride. If not, I’ll find my own transport.” Fang Yao made no hurry to get into the car, instead asking Yin Xun this question first.

Yin Xun had planned to agree to go with him regardless of where his destination was. Naturally, she had to put the big shot first. She had to make the big shot happy first, then any subsequent business would be easier to discuss.

Alas, the big shot’s answer did not fit her plans. She had wanted to wait for Fang Yao to reveal his location first so she could say that she was going to the sa area.

Since Fang Yao was not going to tell her, she had no choice but to tell him where she was going.

“It just so happens that the place I’m going to is nearby. I’ll have to trouble you again.” Fang Yao offered a small smile and sat in the front passenger seat.

The Butler just happened to co out to water the flowers and saw Fang Yao getting into Yin Xun’s car. “Are all the five cars in the garage not working?” he asked aloud, feeling puzzled. “Young Master is getting a ride in Miss Yin’s car again…”

Yin Xun started the car at the sa mont the Butler erged from the house, so she did not see him or hear what he said.

“I didn’t think that we would be so bound by fate. To think that we’re going to the sa place twice in a row.” Yin Xun seed to be speaking casually, but she had actually prepared many of these lines that would get her closer to Fang Yao.

“Miss Yin, did you ntion that you’re going to act? Are you thinking of changing your job or sothing?” For so reason, Fang Yao felt that Yin Xun’s gaze on him was even more intense than last night, which made him a little flustered.

Because of that, he did not reply to Yin Xun’s comnt and changed the topic.

Yin Xun sighed, “I’ve been bored out of my mind recently. I accepted an acting job to partner with an idiot. Although there’s not a lot of money to make, it’s still quite interesting. But today is my first ti there, so I have no idea how it will turn out.”

After answering Fang Yao’s question, Yin Xun turned the question back on him.

She followed Fang Yao’s words and asked him in return, “What about you? Do you work at Fangyue Center? There’s a fair distance between that place and here; the journey alone must take quite so ti.”

“It’s no problem, I only go there occasionally,” Fang Yao said conversationally.

Yin Xun chatted away with Fang Yao as they drove. The journey was rather long and, after a long period of talking, Yin Xun felt that the ti was ripe. She said to Fang Yao, “You know, we’re neighbors now, and we et often. It’s like destiny. How about I treat you to a al? It’s to repay you for last night’s food.”

“Sure, I’ll owe you one, then. When would you be free to co to my place for a al?” Fang Yao asked, turning to look at Yin Xun as he spoke.

Upon hearing the suggestion of going to Fang Yao’s house, Yin Xun quickly rejected it.

She wanted to discuss future collaborations with Fang Yao during the al. If she were to have the al at Fang Yao’s house, would she still have to bring the docunts over? That would make her intentions too obvious.

“Let’s go to my house. You can try my cooking. I’ll cook it myself.” Yin Xun flashed an innocent smile.

She knew that Fang Yao was not an ordinary person, and she could not be impatient when trying to approach him. She had to do it step by step. If she left a bad first impression on Fang Yao, no matter how well she sched in the future, a partnership between them may never co to fruition.

“Alright,” Fang Yao agreed.

An hour later, the car arrived at Fangyue center.

Before Fang Yao got out of the car, Yin Xun reminded him enthusiastically, “I’m going to the clubhouse at the front. We’re quite close. If you don’t have a car, call again and we can go back together.”

Yin Xun was just being courteous to Fang Yao. She knew that, based on Fang Yao’s personality, there was a high chance that he would not call her just to get another ride.

However, she did not realize that the words ‘go back together’ had created a ripple in Fang Yao’s originally calm heart.

Fang Yao looked at Yin Xun and replied with a serious expression, “Alright.” With that, he got off the car and walked toward Fangyue Center.

Once Fang Yao was a good distance away, Yin Xun’s face suddenly darkened. No longer was she wearing that warm, passionate look. With one hand on her chin and the other on the steering wheel, she slowly drove to the club.

Instead of getting out of the car, she remained seated and sent a text ssage while she estimated the ti. She only got out of the car when a security guard ca over to give her a reminder. She handed her car keys to the security guard and asked him to park the car in the parking lot.
