The man walked out of the hospital without looking back.

Lin Yi chased out of the hospital frantically, only to find that the man had long disappeared without a trace.
Lin Yi clenched her fists in anger, truly worried for her mother.
“Mom, I’m sorry,” Lin Yi murmured to herself.

“Miss, you’re still keeping vigil at the hospital? You should get so rest. Your mother will be fine,” a nurse said to Lin Yi with concern.
“Thank you, I’m not tired. You should go back and rest early too,” Lin Yi responded with a faint smile.
After the nurse left, Lin Yi stayed a while longer, making sure her mother was truly alright before she went ho feeling relieved.
Early the next day, Uncle Zhang ca to the hospital and told Lin Yi that her mother was fine and that she didn’t need to worry.

“By the way, miss, why didn’t you stay at ho last night and insist on staying here?”

“Of course, we ca to pick you up. Have you forgotten the promise you made to your father about coming ho?” Lin Yi’s father glared at her.
