Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Are You Playing Hide and Seek with Daddy?
After a sumptuous al, the couple snuggled up on the sofa, chatting and catching up on a drama series.
“Wife, I’ve noticed that getting around isn’t very convenient for us, and it’s only going to get more difficult once you start showing. So I was thinking, maybe we should buy a car as our ans of transportation. Will you accompany to pick one out?”
“By the way, wife, have you got your driving license?” Lin Yi suddenly rembered sothing and asked.
Han Xuewei nodded and replied seriously, “I just got it this sester, but I’ve never actually driven on the road…”
Lin Yi smiled and touched her forehead, saying, “No worries, then I’ll be your personal chauffeur, and I’ll take care of the driving. Will you join tomorrow to choose our future ride, or would you rather sleep in at ho?”

“I’m getting sleepy again… I’ll rest first, hubby.”
Lin Yi imdiately leaned in after hearing this, “Don’t rush, give another two minutes. I want to listen for any activity from the little baby in your belly. Look, I even bought a fetal heart monitor especially for today!”
Lin Yi was surprised to find he was already addicted to interacting with the baby every day. To further savor this delightful experience, he had specifically purchased this monitor.
“By the way, wife, when buying the monitor today, I saw so equipnt for prenatal checkups. So I was thinking, it’s about ti we went for a checkup, right? And I’ve heard that you need to file with the maternity and child health care office before the birth! We should also take care of getting a birth permit; there are quite a few things we need to do…”
Lin Yi began to recall all the information he had learned these past days and started to make a simple plan in his head.

“Tomorrow I’ll accompany you for that!” Lin Yi also instantly perked up.
“Should we postpone the car shopping, then?” Han Xuewei asked.
“There’s no rush for that, what could be more important than my wife’s prenatal checkup?” Lin Yi had no objections and imdiately decided on the checkup for the next day.
“Good thing I set up my dical card when I went for a health check, so I can make an appointnt in advance today – no need to queue!” Han Xuewei hurriedly opened the app to make an online appointnt.
Maybe it was the belly, but Han Xuewei could feel that neither sitting nor standing were comfortable anymore, so the thought of queuing was definitely troubling.

Han Xuewei felt a coolness on her belly, causing her to shiver involuntarily.
“Hm? Are the three little ones hiding? Where have you all gone?” Lin Yi earnestly searched, as if playing a ga of hide and seek with the children.
Han Xuewei watched Lin Yi, who was acting like a child himself, with a warm feeling in her heart.
At that mont, she felt like the happiest mother in the world, reassured that her babies could have such a father!
Just then, as Lin Yi’s attention was still focused on Han Xuewei’s belly, there was a slight anomaly on the monitor!
The chaotic, irregular noise in the monitor beca very regular, and a series of beeping sounds disrupted their train of thought.
Lin Yi was startled by the sudden noise, and his hand holding the instrunt shook uncontrollably.
