Stars, where they were never supposed started to shine brightly, attracting the attention of all living beings across the Universe. They looked up in wonder as they beheld a magnificent spectacle of light and color.
At first, scientists across the Universe were stunned and could not explain the sudden reappearance of the stars at places where they had disappeared eons ago. However, as they studied the phenonon, they began to realize that these were not just ordinary stars. They were stars filled with darkness, each one in a different shade of black and gray.
Ominousity and the sensation of a deadly threat oozed out of the stars, and their dark light grew in intensity. Beings all over the Universe gazed and stared in fright as the day sky was transford into the darkest night of the Abyss. The stars seed to be pulsing with energy, and so people claid that they could even hear the desperate voices of other beings getting tortured.
The reappearance of these stars had a profound impact on beings all over the Universe. It was as if the Universe was sending a ssage to them. However, it was not a ssage of hope. It was a sign of the forthcoming terror and destruction, as a sign of a new era, a ti of war and poverty for all!
So even believed that the reappearance of the dark stars signaled the arrival of sothing sinister, and warned that the Universe was in grave peril.
Regardless of their interpretations, the reappearance of the stars was a defining mont in the history of the Universe. It would always be rembered as the mont when they first saw the sky turn into the abyss, initiating the start of a new era, the era of the second Great War.
However, stars were not the only ones that returned. In fact, the reappearing stars were rely a drop in the ocean.
For countless years, eons to be precise, astronors and powerful Originals had been searching for several missing galaxies that were once thought to have disappeared into the void of space. The galaxies were believed to have been destroyed by a massive collision with another celestial body, consud by a black hole, or devoured in the aftermath of the first Great War.
However, one day, the day of Nial's ascension to godhood, countless Originals, Ascenders, and astronors who had been searching for clues that lead to the answers they sought, noticed sothing big. While conducting a routine survey of the sky, they noticed a faint, but unmistakable glow in the previously empty sections of space. Excited by the possibility of a new discovery, they traveled through Worldbridges to get closer to the empty sections of space.
But what appeared in front of them was much more than empty space. What the Originals and Ascenders witnessed didn't make sense.
The vanished galaxies had returned, their stars shining once again in the dark void of space.
The Originals and Ascenders were astounded by the size and beauty of the galaxies, which were much larger and more radiant than they had ever imagined. Those, who could clearly recall the galaxies that had disappeared could also tell that sothing had changed. The galaxies had expanded and the Mana passing through the galaxies was much stronger…and so were the inhabitants of the galaxies.
The stars of the galaxies were arranged in an intricate pattern, creating a srizing constellation of light. These patterns looked eerily similar across the galaxies that had returned, but that was only obvious. After all, the constellations were actually sothing Damian had engraved into the space of the Universe, creating Galaxy-graded Runic Constellations.
Further analysis from the Ascenders and Originals revealed that the galaxies had undergone a massive transformation during their ti away. The stars were much older and cooler than before, and the galaxies were surrounded by a halo of dark matter and darkness.
The news of the re-appearance of the vanishes galaxies quickly spread throughout the information channels across the entire Universe. Researchers across the entire Universe flocked to observe the phenonon. They spent months studying the galaxies, taking detailed observations, and conducting extensive analyses.
They discovered that the galaxies were not only larger but also more complex than any other galaxy they had ever seen or been to.
The re-appearance of the vanished galaxies sparked a new era of scientific exploration…and much more as the terrors habituating in the forrly vanished galaxies reappeared as well.
At first, none of the beings bothered to leave their galaxies, but that changed quickly upon sensing the assimilation of their master's power far away.
Their first master had died, but the Late God of Darkness had accepted this new body and soul as his official successor.
There was no need to doubt their first master's decision and the first beings erged from the vanished galaxies, teleporting straight to Nial, where the Devils and other beings flocked instinctively.
Every Devil regained their full power, and they made their way to Nial, who was currently still talking to the Oracle, coming to a conclusion about whether the Oracle was allowed to stay by his side, or if Nial would abandon her.
However, the answer to this question was already given. There was no way that Nial would abandon the Oracle.
But that was not exactly the most important thing Nial would have to pay attention to.
He could decide what he was going to do with the Oracle in the future.
For now, he would have to take care of his Devils and the subjects he controlled.
