The mont Nial had adjusted to his strength, he began to experint with the Forgotten runic constellations he had received from Damian's mories.
First, Nial engraved the easiest runic constellations on an ordinary piece of paper until he reached a high enough perfection grade. Afterward, he compared their complexity with other runic constellations before he tested the potency of the forgotten runic constellations.
Having been forgotten didn't an that the forgotten runic constellations were better or their potency greater because they were rarely used. That was also why Nial began to do testing with the simplest runic constellations before he compared them to other Basic, Interdiate and Advanced runic constellations.
Interestingly enough, Nial got to know a lot more about the runic constellations, their perks, and the high compatibility so forgotten runic constellations had with other runes.
'These forgotten runic constellations feel just like shapeshifting pieces of a puzzle, they fit everywhere!'
Ten days had passed since he had completed his alteration of the Mana Sea and it was about ti for him to approach the Dracos and show off his capabilities.
Nial chose to approach Michael Ignis because the Draco was the most familiar with him, and vice versa.
"I've learned a bunch of new runic constellations. Do you want to experint a little bit with ? I need a master blacksmith to give a helping hand," He offered Michael when he appeared in front of the Draco.
Michael Ignis and other Dracos had just finished sparring and most of them were pretty exhausted. Only Michael didn't seem out of breath.
He had trained hard to prepare for a second match with Nial after his strength improved. Seeing and hearing Nial gave him the courage to ask for a rematch, but he clamped his mouth shut when he sensed the imnse pressure that radiated from Nial.
"You…advanced to the Deux rank?" Michael asked rather than answering Nial's question.
"I broke through a while ago, yeah. I had many things to do outside the shelter so nobody knows about it, or not many, I guess," Nial responded while waiting for Michael to answer his question.
However, nobody said anything for a minute or two until Nial cleared his throat in an attempt to dispel the awkwardness in the surroundings.
"Can you help , or not? If you have no ti, that's fine. I can ask soone else."
Michael continued to blankly stare at Nial for a few more seconds before he shook his head in disbelief. He took a deep breath and began to smile bitterly.
"I can help you…Will you create a new type of Broken Runic Armant?" Michael finally found his voice after getting over the shock of Nial's astounding progress. He stepped forward while telling his colleagues that he would go with Nial.
"Rather than a new type of Broken Runic Armant, I got to know a few mories of the Late God of Darkness after advancing to the Deux rank. I learned about a few runic constellations which he created but never shared with anyone. I want to create a few runic armants with those forgotten runic constellations and make a few experints," Nial spoke in all honesty.
The Dracos and Elves knew about his connection to Damian and it was only a matter of ti before other races would find out about it as well.
According to the Universe's Fate and the Oracle, he was a Fate Changer, soone who was bound to protect the Universe in the future, a being whose fate was unknown but sohow possessed the power to change the Fate of the beings around him as well.
This ant Nial was a double-edged sword, considering that he might as well turn into a great villain who destroyed everyone's fate by destroying the entire Universe as a ans to protect it from outside harm. That didn't really make any sense but it crudely denoted that the aning of 'protecting' sothing could be adjusted and tweaked to suit his purpose.
Devouring the Universe and storing it inside his body could also be considered a way of protecting it, at least if one thought about it with a very disturbed and confused mind.
Nial was not really interested in safeguarding the Universe but he would have to beco stronger to protect the rest of his family either way.
Furthermore, there were a few other things that he had yet to find out. Nial was pretty sure that he had to beco stronger to find out more about those who had killed his race and obliterate Bella who was considered the Saintess of the Angel races.
Nial wanted to get to know more about the race he hailed from, figure out where Mathias was currently, beat the shit out of more Heligavs who did the origin humans in the Halheim shelter dirty, which included killing his master, and so on.
He was also interested in working and increasing his experience as a Runicier and much more.
Taking all of that into consideration, recreating the forgotten runic constellations of Damian was probably one of the least difficult tasks he had to accomplish.
However, what seed 'easy' for him caused Michael Ignis to stare at Nial with utter shock.
"That's possible? Wait…so you are going to create Forgotten Runic Armants?!" Michael asked in disbelief. He sounded hoarse due to the strain in his voice which was a little bit unexpected.
Michael was supposed to be a rather calm person, not a hyperventilating child.
"Forgotten Runic Armants…is that a thing?" Nial wondered, which was reaffird by Michael just a mont later.
"Yes, it is a thing. So Gods and other beings are in possession of limited editions of runic armants that cannot be replicated because the knowledge of their creation manuals has been lost long ago. Most of those runic armants are much more powerful than ordinary armants, which is also why they've been granted a different and unique na, Forgotten Runic Armants!"
Michael was quite excited and Nial understood where he was coming from.
"Basically, what you say ans that the Forgotten Runic Armants are worth a fortune and that learning how to create them would be very beneficial for the Draco race…maybe I shouldn't expose my secrets…" He joked which caused the Draco's expression to stiffen for a mont.
Even if the knowledge of the Forgotten Runic Armants hadn't been lost, they would be extrely powerful according to Michael's explanation. As long as Nial could use his knowledge to create runic armants that were only a tad bit stronger than the runic armants he had created until now things would change drastically.
Not only his ordinary runic armants would beco stronger but also the Broken Runic Armants which would elevate their status and social standing to an entirely new level.
Nial was quite excited which is why he approached the smithies of the Dracos where Michael Ignis cleared so space for him almost instantaneously.
"Use everything you want, and don't hesitate to tell what to do. We will procure everything you need…and you show us what those runic armants look like…if you give us one or two of them for research purposes we will help you until the Dracos Leader returns!!" Michael announced, taking Nial by surprise once again.
Nial didn't really have anything against Michael's offer, especially since the creation thod of the forgotten runic constellations was a little bit different.
Not only was it necessary to know the complex design of the runic constellations and to use the correct runic solution but every forgotten runic constellation created by the Late God of Darkness required dark energy to properly fuse the forgotten runic constellation with the armant.
Everyone could use the completed Forgotten Runic Armant but the creation thod Nial was going to use required dark energy as its foundation.
Nial could also amplify his dark energy with the Essence of Darkness but it was questionable how useful that was.
"That's fine with , but I don't really think that you will be able to recreate the Forgotten Runic constellations of Damian…" He chose to stay honest while avoiding talking about the requirent of dark energy.
Altering the runic constellations might be possible but one had to be on the sa level as Damian to change the fundantal energy that was needed to fuse the constellations with the armant.
Thus, Nial could only sigh inwardly when he visualized how excited Michael was.
'Poor soul will be crushed again…'
