Once Sebastian deduced the truth, he felt like hitting his head against a wall.
A well-known fact in the outside world was that Leviathons were solitary beasts. They were not social with other beasts, and due to their small numbers, they were scattered all over Oceania which ant that 2 Leviathons rarely t.
Over the decades, as this trend continued, this beca a fact that even the Leviathons themselves accepted, they embraced the solitary lifestyle.
They adapted to stop relying on others, they lived their whole lives with the belief that they had no friends to take care of them, they were for themselves.
This was one of the main reasons why despite the intimidating might of the Leviathons, there was no Leviathon Beast Empire. These species of Space Beasts were just not unified enough to form an Empire of their own.
This belief in solidarity and self-reliance rippled into the Domain World.
Instinctively, on being teleported to the Domain World and being briefed that the Ocean King’s test was to scale the Domain Mountain to the peak, all the Leviathons felt that this was an individual test ant for each of them.
They thought every Leviathon was supposed to be on his own when this was not clarified, now Sebastian had evidence that canceled this out.
Sebastian didn’t know why the Ocean King didn’t point it out to make the quest easier for his descendants, perhaps it was because of his early death, but Sebastian was now sure that teamwork was the key to finishing the test.
As evident from his performance, even for an anomaly like him, he could not finish the test which ant that it was impossible to complete for 1 Leviathon.
So of the powerful Leviathons in the Domain World were intelligent, but the solidarity life was so much ingrained into them that they seldom thought of taking the test together and seeing the outco.
The more Sebastian thought about this, the broader the topic began as he started seeing the great insight of the Ocean King.
For so reason, Sebastian felt that the Ocean King predicted the coming storm that was about to take over all of Oceania.
Leviathons were powerful, but without unifying to form a whole, there was no guarantee that their race would not go extinct from the tribulations that were about to co and the subsequent Ancient Cthulu invasion.
Sebastian felt that the Ocean King didn’t just leave this inheritance to nurture powerful Telekinesis users, he felt that the real motive of the Ocean King was to unify the Leviathons into a single whole to defend themselves against the great tribulation that was coming.
Unity is strength, perhaps the Ocean King understood this seconds or minutes before his death to the Atlantians that he underestimated, but this beca his creed that he vowed to ingrain in his descendants.
Once Sebastian understood this, a lot of things that he originally overlooked finally started making sense to him.
Of course, he was ecstatic but one problem finally presented itself to him. Leviathons were such prideful creatures that Sebastian was not sure if they would allow one of them to suddenly step up to beco their leader.
Being a leader entailed more than just words, a leader was a figure that everyone else respected and looked up to, a leader is the figure of confidence and encouragent to everyone that was involved.
Now, Sebastian didn’t know how to go about getting this leader that would lead the Leviathons to complete the test that was left by their ancestor.
Sebastian thought hard and long before settling for the pinnacle Red tier Leviathons that Poker told him resided in this world, they were the best figures to be the leaders but another problem ca which was how he could locate them.
Sebastian was stumped but he did not give up, he resolved to take it one step at a ti, he was confident that he would get to his goal one day.
In no ti, Sebastian arrived at a basic outline for his plan. He would start by looking for other Leviathon groups like Poker’s group, then he would share his truth about the real test of the Ocean King with them.
It didn’t matter if they believed him or not, all he wanted was to tell as many Leviathons as possible with the hopes that the information would get to the hearing of one of the pinnacle Red tier Leviathons residing here.
Once Sebastian could et any of these pinnacle predators, he believed that he could convince him/her to step up and be the leader of the Leviathons.
Sebastian did not waste ti as he started implenting his plan imdiately. The more ti he spent in the Domain World, the more he worried about the outside world and how much the Orca Revolution must have escalated.
He hoped that his close friends and loved ones were ok, and this beca his daily motivation to keep on working hard and spreading the truth about the test.
After 2 weeks of relentless engagent, Sebastian’s hard work finally paid off as he attracted the attention of one of the few Red tier Leviathons who was at the absolute pinnacle of this tier hoping to evolve to the Black tier realm.
This female Leviathon was part of those who watched Sebastian’s performance 2 weeks ago, and she was interested in Sebastian’s idea.
She did not waste ti before she invited him. Once Sebastian received her invitation, he did not hesitate and took it.
The lair of the powerful female Leviathon, the Crooked Overlord was the most luxurious lair that Sebastian had ever seen in this Domain World.
Having t Trinidad before, Sebastian was able to keep his calm when he ca before this powerful Leviathon. On her demand, he finally spoke up and thoroughly explained his theory about the true test of the Ocean King.
Apart from explaining the true test of the Ocean King, to gain more credibility with her, Sebastian revealed his true identity to this female warlord.
Sebastian only had the confidence to do this after knowing of Leviathons from his master, older Leviathons never bullied younger ones.
Once she heard that Sebastian had 2 unique skills, the Crooked Overlord was not able to hide her surprise but she didn’t interject in his explanation either.
After a long session of explanation, the Crooked Overlord did not reveal her thoughts whether she believed them or not, she rather asked a question.
"What makes you think that I can beco the leader?"
Sebastian was quick to answer. "Because you’re a pinnacle Red tier predator, you have the strength to command the obedience of all the others".
"Well, I can’t".
"...why?" This was all Sebastian could ask as he was sincerely confused.
"As you said, the Ocean King wants the community of Leviathons to be unified. I can do that here, but what if you’re right and we get out, what do you think will happen when the Black tier Leviathons know about ?"
"..."
Sebastian was enlightened. "They will not accept you as a leader".
"Yes, they won’t".
Now, Sebastian was disappointed. "So, are we just going to bend over to such an awful reality and live this aningful life here till we die?"
"No". The Crooked Overlord answered calmly.
Sebastian was affected by her calmness. "Do you have a plan?"
"Yes, beco the leader".
