After a terrible battle that seed about to herald the destruction of the Nightmare Forest, after the trauma to all the beasts who witnessed it, after all the damages to the Nightmare Tree, the battle finally ca to an end.
Accompanied by the battle’s end was the ergence of the winner. After 3 days and 3 nights of non-stop battle, Trinidad, the Leviathon won.
In the whole Nightmare Forest, perhaps apart from the 2 massive predators who fought the battle, Sebastian gained the most from this battle.
He learned so much about the life of a Leviathon from the powerful display of his senior that Sebastian had topics to deliberate on for the next year.
Trinidad’s display showed him an experintal example of how much he deviated from the real way of a Leviathon. He tried to inhabit a Leviathon’s body with a human ntality, which was obviously a wrong combination.
To get the most out of his Leviathon ultimate war vessel, he needed to be a Leviathon. He needed to think, act, and move like a Leviathon.
As Sebastian thought, he got an epiphany as he connected it with his main body. Apart from the Atlantian living doppelganger that he gelled with so easily imdiately after he created it, the sa could not be said for his main body.
Sebastian still rembered 8 months ago when he just reincarnated here that he swam thrashingly like a headless and clueless SpongeBob.
All that was because of his then incompatibility and unfamiliarity with his Great White Shark body. His system ca to his rescue as he made things a lot easier for him by classifying basic things like swimming in the form of a skill.
This way, he was able to grow above those difficulties but did this an that he really embraced the ways and ntality of a Great White Shark? He was not sure and was why Sebastian made this connection.
What if like his Leviathon body, he was not making the most use of his main galodon body yet? What if the sa training technique could work and getting to know and understand his galodon body better would make him stronger?
Imdiately after Sebastian started thinking of this, he could no longer stop as it soon dominated his mind and all his senses.
Due to the threat that would soon be due in 2 years, Sebastian was under a lot of pressure to grow stronger and he was ready to do anything to get it.
This was the reason why this thought route appealed to him so much. More and more ideas kept on sprouting in his head as he soon lost focus of his surroundings, he carefreely thought without a care of the world like a Leviathon.
Noticing Sebastian losing focus and being embroiled in his thoughts, a weary Trinidad nodded to himself. "Just like a real Leviathon".
"Tsk!" The dying Big Daddy scoffed. "You did all these to train him?"
"Hahaha, sorry to disappoint you, he’ll be a huge failure for sure".
Normally, Trinidad would have been triggered by that but not today, he was too happy to be triggered.
He turned to face his dying old-ti rival and laughed. "I want to laugh my ass out on hearing that, are you saying so because of how he dribbled you after your elaborate shaless scheming?"
"Believe it or not, Sebastian is going to be soone big in the future".
"Futuristic terms, such reckless optimism..., cough..." Big Daddy stopped mid-sentence as he coughed out a flood of blood.
Seeing this, Trinidad smiled. "I won".
"I know, how many tis will you f*cking say that?"
"For as many tis as I want".
"Ok, so what are you going to do to ?"
Trinidad scoffed. "Is that a question? Of course, I’m going to kill you off, did you think I went through so much just to defeat and leave you alone?"
"Yeah, yeah, I get it but is that what you really want to do? Think about it".
Trinidad’s Leviathon face stiffened. "What do you an?"
"We have been rivals for such a long ti that it is inevitable that we’ll begin to grow feelings for each other. Our rivalry is of mutual benefit, it pushed us to get beyond our limits, and now we’re standing at the peak of the Red tier realm".
"Isn’t that a good rivalry that we should be proud of?"
"I never saw you as an enemy, I rather saw you as a friend that pushed into working harder to fulfill my real potential".
"If I had the choice, I would have married you".
"..." That touched a nerve.
Now, Trinidad was irritated more than he was amused. "Yeah, oof, puff, will you just keep quiet and say the real thing?"
"You think I’ll fall for your petty tricks again old man?" Trinidad raised his head as he opened his mouth, displaying the churning energy inside that was about to unleash another Atomic Breath to finish the job.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Once he was able to stop Trinidad, Big Daddy sighed. "Youngsters of these days, always so impatient".
"Don’t you want to enter the leaf of the Nature Tree? Another leaf entered the Nightmare Forest recently, I kept it and it would open up in 6 months".
On hearing that, Trinidad was finally persuaded as his eyes shone.
The Nature Tree that was rumored to grow at the heart of Oceania is the tree with the most accumulation of primordial origin essence. The tree itself can perform a lot of wonders, but it is inaccessible, only its leaves are accessible.
Once every few centuries, the tree is rumored to shed so of its leaves. The leaves have a lot of uses but their main use is that it grants epiphanies to Red tier predators who are seeking the opportunity into the next tier.
Having produced over 5 Black tier predators in history, this leaf was renowned. Big Daddy also made use of one when he was younger, but his luck was not enough, he failed to undergo that last sublimation evolution.
Trinidad would lie if he said he was not attracted by this offer.
"Why should I believe you?" He suddenly asked. "What guarantee do I have that once I’m vulnerable, you won’t simply kill off?"
Big Daddy laughed. "The Revolution".
"What?"
"You and I know that the Orca Revolution is just the beginning. With ti, things are surely going to get tougher and it would get to an extent where even predators like us can no longer guarantee our safety".
"Then, I’ll need a buddy to rely on to survive. If you successfully evolve, I’ll get a protector to rely on, if you didn’t, we stand a better chance of surviving through the turbulent tis together".
Trinidad thought silently for about a minute. "And what makes you believe that I won’t kill you once I co out as a Black tier predator?"
Big Daddy only smiled brightly without giving a reply.
Trinidad sighed. "I’m in".
"Good, now drag up and get to a real healer before I die". Big Daddy finally dropped the façade and panicked as he coughed out blood again.
He was close to death already and needed imdiate assistance.
"I’m coming, we’ll leave in a mont, wait for my student".
Big Daddy could only remain patient and turn to face Sebastian resentfully.
After spending 30 minutes in ditation, Sebastian finally regained concentration. But once he regained focus, he shuddered as he felt a pair of eyes staring him down in such a predatory manner that he felt that his life was in danger.
Trinidad stared Big Daddy down also, then the big Thresher Whale llowed down. "Please, Young Sebastian, can we leave now?"
Sebastian was confused but he replied. "Umm, ok".
Trinidad used his space magic to cover both predators before teleporting them away.
