"My son".
This one magical word was what perford the magic.
Before eting his dad, Sebastian planned a lot on how he would comport himself, he planned how he would talk and how he would behave, including how he would react to his words but his brain short-circuited on finally eting him.
This feeling was not entirely due to the intimidating stature of his father but was more because of the bond that resonated between the both of them through their blood.
Inherently, Sebastian’s soul was an earthling but his body in Oceania was a shark and its bloodline ca from this galodon.
This was why the bond between the both of them was so strong.
Imdiately after his father called him son, this magical word evaporated all the misgivings in Sebastian’s mind. His intuition already proved to be correct in most circumstances, and he believed that it was right this ti around also.
This massive galodon was his father.
"Dad?" Sebastian finally spoke though as a question.
On hearing that, the massive galodon chuckled. Both son and father didn’t say anything else, this little exchange of words already transmitted a million ssages that re words could not transmit.
The patriarch of the Great White Kingdom led the way as he started swimming casually through the green world ford by the beautiful garden.
As he swam through the beautiful green garden, admiring all the beautiful flowers and the well-grood trees, Sebastian was able to calm his mind down as he soon asked a question that had been nagging at his mind.
Shortly after transmigrating into this world, Sebastian complained of his filthy parents leaving him unprotected in the wild.
Of course, that complaint was mostly because of frustration due to his situation then but the more he got used to Oceania and understood its secrets, including its intelligent beasts, the more he felt that his complaint was right.
The beasts here were too intelligent to simply leave their young ones unprotected in the wild as was shown in the Firelight Shark Clan.
So, why did his Oceania parents do it?
Once Sebastian asked, the patriarch answered like he had been waiting for it. "Sebastian, just like you, all your siblings who survived asked the sa question".
As he spoke, the patriarch suddenly turned to face Sebastian. "Life is a race, it’s either you run fast with it and thrive to survive till the end or be crushed".
"As my children, I love all of you but it is only right that you all beco the best versions of yourselves. I made the decision to leave you all in the wild".
"By staying in the wild without ever knowing that you are my son, the need and struggle for survival becos the main ingredient to motivate you to keep on working harder".
"The struggle for survival is what enabled you to beco the powerful galodon that you currently have today".
"Having sons like you is the reason why I made that decision". The mighty galodon smiled as he looked at Sebastian affectionately.
"..." Now, this smile looked spooky to Sebastian.
Though the love for his dad was still there, Sebastian had to admit that his dad’s logic was super ssed up. He literally treated his children like tools.
To quickly detract from this controversial conversation, Sebastian started talking about his experiences since he was given birth in this world.
He was not the only one who talked of experiences, his dad did too.
According to the patriarch of the Great White Kingdom, he had hundreds of children but only 122 had won the battle of the survivors and returned back ho.
Of his hundreds of wives and concubines, Sebastian’s mom was a beautiful Great White Shark who later died when she went out on a personal hunt.
The Great White Kingdom lived over a century already and never waned.
Listening to the rich history of the Great White Kingdom, Sebastian felt like he was watching an iconic movie and it never stopped amazing him.
Like that, father and son soon lost themselves in the mont as they kept on switching from one topic of discussion to the other.
Soon enough, they deviated to their glories. Sebastian started it first as he started narrating the intense battles that he had been embroiled in during his short ti since being given birth.
Once he finished, his father took over as he narrated his eventful life.
From when he fought with the mighty Fire-breathing Dragon, this mighty galodon narrated his exciting life to his son who never failed to be amazed.
At this mont, Sebastian really felt like he was beside his father for the first ti in a long ti, he relaxed, letting go of all his priorities and responsibilities just to enjoy the company of his dad.
This way, he enjoyed himself for 2 hours before his father finally deviated into an important topic which was the shark incarnation ceremony.
This incarnation ceremony was an ancient practice in the Great White Kingdom, every child of the city after coming of age had experienced it.
It was similar to the Mana Lord Induction Ceremony in so ways.
The major differences were that the shark incarnation ceremony involved no tests. Inside the most sacred place of the city called the ancestor’s building, there was a place where the water was different from the others.
The shark incarnation ceremony required the shark after coming of age to dip his body in this special water that contained a blood drop of the Ancient galodon who was the ancestor of all Great White Sharks and galodons.
Through this ritual, the bloodline of the Ancient galodon inside them would thicken, increasing their chances of getting better evolution routes during their next evolution.
For those who already had the galodon bloodline, there was a greater chance of receiving opportunities to increase their bloodline power.
In essence, the main goal of the incarnation was to increase the talent of whoever experienced it.
Once his father told him this, Sebastian thought so more before he presented his plan to leave the Green Mist Sea to his father.
During this short ti together, his trust in his father already increased.
On hearing his plan, his father didn’t have much of a reaction. He simply gave him so necessary advice before finally leading him to the ancestor’s grounds.
5 minutes later, father and son were on the ancestor’s grounds.
