Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Let the Lawyer Teach You How to Write Defamation

Mrs. Chen did not notice her emotion and continued, “Last ti, my son had a conflict with Xiao ng. Xiao ng said that my son kept writing letters to pursue her, harassing her and affecting her studies, which led to a conflict and they almost ca to blows. It resulted in my son receiving a major penalty and being transferred from Class A to Class B! I swallowed my anger for the sake of my son! And now what? Now I find out that Xiao ng is such a person! What does this an? It ans that what she did to my son last ti was slander! It’s a major oversight in your school’s work!”

“Mrs. Chen, there were witnesses to the incident last ti. Chen Zehao was youthful and impetuous, it was his first mistake, and our handling of the matter last ti was appropriate.”

Mrs. Chen got agitated, “How could it be possible? If I hadn’t known that there were issues with Xiao ng herself, I would have really believed that your handling was impartial! Ha, and now you still want to deceive , no way!”

“Mrs. Chen…” Lou Qiaoyin tried to persuade her.

“Stop talking about that! I now demand that the matter be reprocessed, and that the school expel Xiao ng! I also demand that Xiao ng publicly apologize to my son!”

Tian Wangcheng stood by, his expression not quite taking pleasure in the misfortune, but he was clearly on Mrs. Chen’s side.

Xiao ng had previously had a conflict with Chen Zehao which resulted in Chen Zehao leaving Class A. Coupled with Xiao ng’s own declining grades, Tian Wangcheng had a lot of grievances against her.

“I’m sorry, Mrs. Chen, but we can’t et your demands,” Director Han said directly.

“Oh, you can’t? Okay, very well! I have already gathered several parents’ joint petition demanding the expulsion of Xiao ng. Because of Xiao ng’s presence, it affects the normal children’s learning in the school. Who knows which boy she will slander and hurt next ti? In addition, we demand that from now on, the school will never admit any student coming from an orphanage or with any orphanage background! Because these students are fundantally bad, all have ntal diseases, and their existence is simply a disaster to normal children! Since your school can’t solve such a problem, then we will report it to the relevant departnts until this issue is resolved! Why should we sacrifice the interests of normal children from normal families to protect this minority group?”

Director Han and Teacher Luo were both shocked. How could Mrs. Chen make such an unreasonable request?

The school recruited openly, admitting children from orphanages as well as from normal families, with the vast majority admitted to the school based on their grades.

Non-discriminatory education and equal treatnt of students were the principles of the school.

Her request was far too wide-ranging, and while everyone was annoyed, they were also worried that if Mrs. Chen really managed to pressurize with the help of a few parents with backgrounds, it might actually co true.

Jiang Zhe’s aura grew colder, and Mrs. Chen, sensing it, shut her mouth.

She looked into Jiang Zhe’s eyes, feeling a bit intimidated. This girl’s eyes, her presence was too tough, almost making it impossible for others to look her in the eye.

But Mrs. Chen still stiffened her neck. She had heard that Jiang Zhe also ca from an orphanage and had been disowned by the Jiang Family, so such a reaction was to be expected.

Xiao ng sensed Jiang Zhe’s mood and quickly reached out to grab her.

She was really afraid that Jiang Zhe would lash out.

Jiang Zhe didn’t resort to violence, but instead walked over to Mrs. Chen, grabbed her waving hand that almost hit Xiao ng’s face, and said calmly, “You say that Xiao ng seduced her foster father, where is the evidence?”

“I was told by a lady of high standing, do I still need evidence?” Mrs. Chen tried to break free, but couldn’t.

Even though the girl in front of her looked thin and frail.

“Spouting nonsense and slandering without evidence, does Mrs. Chen not know how to write the words ‘defamation’?” Jiang Zhe’s tone remained nonchalant.

But the overwhelming sense of oppression made Mrs. Chen for a mont truly hesitant to argue back.

After all, she indeed couldn’t produce any evidence; the hearsay she had overheard at the mahjong table, she used to complain on behalf of her son without further verification.

As for the content left by Mrs. Jiang when she initially reported to the police and coordinated, Jiang Zhe had already made arrangents, so Mrs. Chen couldn’t possibly get hold of it.

Mrs. Chen’s palm, held tightly by Jiang Zhe, began to hurt more and more; the more she struggled, the more it hurt, and her complexion started to pale.

“Or maybe, I should have a lawyer co over and teach you how to write those two words.”

For so reason, Mrs. Chen rationally didn’t believe that a high school student could hire any lawyer, but facing Jiang Zhe, she felt a deep fear.

When Jiang Zhe got to the last word, he twisted her hand fiercely and threw it away.

Mrs. Chen suddenly couldn’t lift her arm, feeling bone-piercing, excruciating pain; she felt as if all her bones were broken.

“You dare to hit people! A student from the First Middle School is hitting soone! How do you educate your students!”

Director Han and Lou Qiaoyin, detesting her haughtiness, didn’t pay any attention to her.

She glared at Jiang Zhe, but in his eyes, she saw a trace of cold light, like a small beast waiting for its hunt.

Mrs. Chen’s bravado had long since died down; she could only repeat one sentence, “Anyway, Xiao ng can’t stay in the First Middle School! I’m going to sue your student for hitting soone!”

Mrs. Chen’s targeting of Xiao ng was clearly a mix of personal vendettas for the sake of her own son.

“Without a valid reason, we cannot arbitrarily expel any student! Nor can we treat her unfairly!” Lou Qiaoyin protected Jiang Zhe and Xiao ng behind her.

Mrs. Chen said sharply, “Fine, then I’ll imdiately put together a joint complaint to the higher authorities! And as for this student who hit , just wait until I get my injury report—you’ll see! Just wait!”

With one hand limp and the other holding her bag, she stord out.

Director Han followed her out, not wanting the situation to escalate.

Tian Wangcheng glanced at Xiao ng, seemingly congratulating himself on his astute wisdom for having removed Xiao ng from his class earlier; now that there was trouble, it had nothing to do with him, and he left feeling pleased.

Lou Qiaoyin, not having ti to be angry with Tian Wangcheng’s attitude, whispered to Xiao ng, “Xiao ng, you haven’t done anything wrong; the school won’t be threatened by Mrs. Chen.”

Xiao ng clenched her fingers tightly; her face was deathly pale, and Lou Qiaoyin’s reassurance could not calm her at all.

She blad herself for making a mistake that had caused such a situation, and she felt even more guilty that it might involve many other children.

“Jiang Zhe, stay with Xiao ng. Everything will be alright, you understand?” After giving quick instructions, Lou Qiaoyin turned and left.

She also had to deal with Mrs. Chen first.

Otherwise, regardless of whether the accusations against Xiao ng were true or false, once spread, the damage to Xiao ng would be enormous.
