'What sort of title is that? And why did the system picked him up as an opponent?' Kaelen thought with a confused look on his face.

During the ti Kaelen was about to get into the orientation building of the Pace Setter Academy for internal students, he had a battle with a group of seniors who were already internal students, but the system didn't identify them as opponents, it didn't even co online throughout the ti Kaelen was in that situation.

'Hmm... Strange' Kaelen thought as he continued to lay down on the forest floor lazilywith his eyes closed in an attempt to get his endurance and strength back.

...

Kelvin, the gothic kid, fled through the dense underbrush of Veilwood Forest, his heart pounding in his chest. The pardon he got from Kaelen had left him seething with rage and humiliation. His dark uniform was torn and stained, a stark reminder of his defeat.

"Don't you just worry Kaelen, my ti will co"

Branches and leaves whipped past him as he ran, his mind racing with thoughts of revenge. The forest seed to conspire against him, its shadows deepening and the path growing more treacherous with each step. But Kelvin pressed on, determined to put as much distance between himself and Kaelen as possible.

"Ahh!!"

In his haste, Kelvin failed to notice the subtle signs of danger—an uneven patch of ground, a slight indentation hidden beneath the foliage. His foot ca down on the disguised trap, and before he could react, the ground gave way beneath him.

With a startled cry, Kelvin tumbled into the hidden hole, his hands clawing at the air in a desperate attempt to grasp sothing solid. The fall was swift and brutal, the darkness swallowing him whole. He hit the bottom with a painful thud, the impact jarring every bone in his body.

Boom!!

'Wha_What just happened?'

For a mont, Kelvin lay still, dazed and disoriented. The air was cool and damp, the silence oppressive. Pain radiated through his limbs, but he forced himself to sit up, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

He glanced around, his eyes struggling to adjust to the dim light filtering in from above. The hole was deep, the walls smooth and slick, making escape seem impossible. Kelvin cursed under his breath, his frustration mounting.

"Great," he muttered, his voice echoing faintly. "Just what I needed."

Kelvin tried to stand, wincing as a sharp pain shot through his ankle. He leaned against the wall, his mind racing for a solution. He couldn't stay here; he had to find a way out before anyone—especially Kaelen—discovered him.

As he surveyed his surroundings, Kelvin's eyes narrowed in determination. He wouldn't let this setback defeat him. He was stronger than this, smarter than this. With a grim resolve, he began to search the hole for any potential ans of escape, every movent fueled by his burning desire for revenge.

"Oh, seems like my intuition was right after all" But not long after Kelvin began to search for a hole that could be a ans of escape for him, he suddenly heard a strange and eerie voice all over the dark area he is in.

"Who is there!!?" Startled by this voice, Kelvin exclaid with a vigilant look on his face as he quickly brought out his dark scythe from his storage pouch.

"Nice weapon you got there, but the quality of the weapon is a complete thrash" The voice spoke up again in the sa tone.

"Who are you? Show yourself!!" Kelvin exclaid more as he slowly but steadily began to panic.

"Relax kid, I an you no harm" The voice replied before a silhouette finally appeared right in front of Kelvin.

The silhouette stood motionless, shrouded in an aura that made Kelvin's skin crawl. It exuded a pure aura of death and dark qi, an energy so malevolent that it seed to suffocate the very air around it. Tendrils of black mist swirled around the figure, curling and twisting like living shadows.

The aura emanating from the silhouette was a chilling contrast to the surrounding gloom, a palpable force that weighed heavily on Kelvin's chest. He felt a deep, instinctual fear, a primal sense of dread that threatened to overwhelm his senses. His heart pounded in his ears, each beat a reminder of his vulnerability in the presence of such a dark entity.

Kelvin's instincts scread at him to flee, but his body was paralyzed by the oppressive aura and also battered from the fall he just had. The silhouette seed to absorb the light, its form indistinct yet undeniably nacing. It was as if the darkness itself had taken shape, a harbinger of death and despair.

Every mont in the presence of the silhouette felt like an eternity. Kelvin's mind raced, searching for a way to combat the suffocating fear. The pure aura of death and dark qi seeped into his very soul, leaving him feeling exposed and powerless.

As Kelvin's eyes locked onto the silhouette, he felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead. He could sense the malevolent intent radiating from the figure, a darkness that sought to consu everything in its path. The overwhelming discomfort and fear threatened to break his resolve, but he knew he had to remain vigilant, to find a way out of this nightmare.

"My na is Draniç, I am the Chaos King" The silhouette said with a more deep and nacing voice from before.

"Wha_Wha_What do you wa_want from ?" Kelvin asked In a stuttering manner as he has already beco soaked in sweat.

"Oh you don't need to feel despair around . Rather, you should be ecstatic at this mont" Draniç said with an evil smile on his face.

But Kelvin didn't seem to believe him at all as he was still finding a way to go further away from him. When Draniç saw this, he couldn't help but shake his head as he suddenly stretched out his hand.

"It seems like you still don't believe , why don't I show you sothing?"

In the next mont, an orb suddenly materialized right on the palm of the silhouette.

In the oppressive darkness of the hole, the silhouette raised it's hand, and an eerie transformation began to take place. From the depths of it's palm, a strange orb materialized, glowing with a sinister, other worldly light. The orb was an unsettling mix of swirling colors, predominantly black and crimson, pulsing with a rhythm that seed to echo the heartbeat of the very shadows themselves.

The orb floated just above the Draniç's hand, casting a ghastly illumination that revealed more of it's malevolent form. The light from the orb accentuated the darkness surrounding the figure, making the shadows dance and flicker with a life of their own. The energy emanating from the orb was palpable, a tangible force that made the air hum with a low, ominous vibration.

"Wha_What is that?"

Kelvin, lying helpless at the bottom of the hole, felt a wave of dread was over him as the orb hovered nacingly. His eyes widened in horror, unable to look away from the sinister light. The orbs glow seed to pierce his very soul, filling him with a sense of impending doom.

Without warning, the orb began to move. It floated down slowly, deliberately, as if drawn by an invisible thread toward Kelvin. The air grew colder with each passing second, the malevolent energy intensifying. Kelvin's breath ca in short, panicked gasps, his body frozen in terror.

As the orb reached Kelvin, it paused montarily above his chest, the light casting grostesque shadows on his pale face. Then, with a sudden surge of energy, the orb plunged into Kelvin's body, rging with him in a burst of dark light. The force of the intrusion made Kelvin convulse violently, his back arching off the ground as he scread in agony.

"Ahh!!"

The strange orb's energy coursed through Kelvin, flooding his veins with dark qi and a sense of overwhelming power. The pain was unbearable, yet intertwined with it was a dark, seductive strange that began to take root within him. The shadows around him seed to grow darker, more oppressive, as the transformation took hold.

Kaelen's eyes glowed with an unnatural light as the orb's energy settled within him, his body slowly relaxing from the convulsions as he began to loose consciousness. The malevolent aura that now surrounded him was a twisted reflection of the silhouette's own, marking him as a vessel of the dark energy that had been bestowed upon him.

"What.... Have you done to ?" But right before Kelvin could completely loose consciousness, he asked Draniç with a struggling feeling within him. And with a mysterious smile on his face while he began to fade, Draniç answered.

"Celebrate young one, for I made you a candidate to be a dark descendants"

"Dark descendant....?" Kelvin muttered before he finally loose consciousness completely.

"Kelvin!!" Right at this mont, his father who is one of the pillars of the Pace Setter Academy suddenly ca into the hole. But he failed to notice the silhouette that has just completely disappear out of that place.
