The grand ceremony comnced with the vice principal stepping onto the stage.

His voice carried authority.

"You all know about the incident on Carol Island," he began, his gaze sweeping across the hall. "It was a grave oversight on our part, allowing such an event to occur under our watch. We are fortunate—no students were lost during the incident."

A murmur spread through the crowd, a mix of relief and unease.

"To those students who showed imnse bravery during that ti, we owe you our deepest gratitude. As such, the academy has decided to plan a reward to honor your courage and efforts. Details will be shared soon."

With those words, the vice principal concluded his speech, and the ceremony wrapped up shortly after.

Kael sat quietly in his room later.

Picking up his phone, he typed out a quick ssage:

________________

: Lumia, co to my room in the evening.

It didn’t take long for a reply.

Lumia: Ok.

Kael put his phone down, leaning back on his chair.

His expression darkened as his mind wandered to the upcoming events he’d read about in the novel.

The incident with the Abyssal Bloom... he thought, naming the mysterious occurrence that caused students to either gain extraordinary powers or lose their sanity.

If this happens again.

Kael paced back and forth in his room, his mind racing.

The knowledge from the novel weighed heavily on him.

The Abyssal Bloom Incident was just around the corner.

"I can’t let anyone fall for this," he muttered to himself.

"Too many lives will be ruined. But how do I stop sothing so deeply embedded in the shadows?" kael thought.

He clenched his fists, frustration gnawing at him.

He considered going to the vice principal, but the idea quickly fell apart.

Who knows? What if he’s the one behind it?

The novel had left so details ambiguous, including the identity of the mastermind.

There was a figure who manipulated everything from the shadows, soone who could disguise themselves as anyone or influence others to do their bidding.

’If the vice principal is even remotely under their influence, approaching him could get killed on the spot,’ Kael thought grimly.

"What should I do?" Kael asked aloud, staring at the faint glow of his sword, Aethral Fang, resting against the wall.

Then, like a spark in the darkness, an idea struck him.

"Hmm... I can do this," Kael said, a plan slowly forming in his mind.

He sat down and began sketching out the details.

--------

Kael’s Plan

1. Gather Allies:

Kael would start by bringing his trusted team into confidence.

2. Scout and Observe:

Kael knew the Abyssal Bloom would manifest in a specific location within the academy grounds. He would discreetly monitor the area and investigate any suspicious activity.

3. Find the Key Players:

The incident always revolved around certain students who fell under the curse’s influence. Kael had to identify these individuals before it was too late.

4. Prepare Counterasures

5. Intervene Without Drawing Attention

-----------

Kael sighed, the weight of his plan settling on his shoulders.

"It’s risky, but it’s all I’ve got," he said.

I won’t let anyone fall. Not this ti.

But kael didn’t know that he was already late.

--

An eerie glow casting shadows across the walls.

A young boy stood nervously, his fists clenched as he faced a man with four glowing eyes.

The man’s presence was unsettling, his gaze piercing.

"I ca as you requested," the boy said.

"Good," the man replied,"You are ready then?"

"Yes. Now give what I asked for," the boy demanded.

"Of course," the man said with a twisted smile, gesturing for the boy to lie down.

As soon as the boy obeyed, the man began chanting in a guttural language, his hands glowing with an ominous light.

"AAAGHH!"

"Ugh"

the boy scread as pain surged through his body, his veins turning black for a mont before fading.

The man’s voice turned softer.

"Do you feel it? The power coursing through your veins?" Man asked.

The boy struggled to his feet, his breathing labored.

"With this... I’ll beco stronger, right?" he asked.

"Of course," the man said. "But rember, power always cos with a cost."

The boy’s face twisted in confusion, but the lure of strength outweighed his doubts.

He clenched his fists, feeling the newfound energy surging within him.

’I’ll show them all,’ he thought.

The man watched with satisfaction, his smile growing wider.

Perfect.

The man with four eyes, shrouded in darkness, stood over him, a crooked smile twisting his face.

"Now, child," the man said. "show this power to your friends. Let them witness what you have beco, and then... bring them to ."

The boy hesitated, his fists clenching tightly.

"But I don’t have friends," he whispered

The man tilted his head, his four eyes narrowing.

"No friends? And why is that?"

"They bully ," the boy admitted, his voice growing louder as anger replaced fear.

"They laugh at ... mock ... even my family looks down on . But not anymore!" His voice trembled.

The man leaned in closer, his smile widening.

"Good. Let that anger fuel you. Show them all what you’re capable of. Make them regret their actions. Make them kneel before your power."

The boy’s eyes glead with a newfound light.

He felt stronger, more confident, as if he could take on the world.

"I’ll show them," he said firmly. "I’ll show them all. I’ll prove to my family that I’m not weak. That I’m powerful!"

The man chuckled darkly.

"Yes... That’s the spirit. Go now, child. Make them see the strength they’ve ignored for so long."

The boy fra now radiating with energy, a faint glow surrounding him.

Without another word, he turned and left, his footsteps echoing in the empty chamber.

The man watched him go, his smile fading into a calculating expression.

"The seeds of chaos have been sown. Now let’s see how far they’ll grow." The four eyes man said while changing his disguise in a beautiful woman.
