Novel's Extra: I Awakened The Strongest Physique From The Start Chapter 80 CHAPTER 79 - Zahara and Elaria
"W-Where is this place...?"
This was all Zahara could say as she found herself standing in an empty area with nothing but tall trees. She could see so strange towers in so distance, but nothing else.
The thing that made her panic was that she knew that this place wasn't sowhere in Originveil City.
She knew the city enough to know if there were these types of jagged towers anywhere in it, but she couldn't recall any place that had this.
"...don't panic and wait for to co to you."
It was then that Alex's words echoed in her head, reminding her of what he had said before her world darkened.
At that ti, she hadn't focused much on his words as she just wanted to keep kissing him, but now, when she had nothing to do but wait for him, she tried to recall what had happened—a bit hard to do it since her mind was getting hazy at that mont, but she still did.
"Hah... Hah..."
They were both breathing hard after a long kiss and Zahara, raring to go for more, wanting to do more than just a kiss, tried to move forward again but was stopped by Alex.
"Zahara, I have sothing to say."
Those words made her scared. She felt like he was going to reject her, so with her hazy mind—a contribution of her beastly instincts, which called for mating—she tried to push harder into the kiss, but Alex held her down firmly.
His gaze was serious as he spoke, "I have so things that I will be telling you, but before that, you will have to answer one of my questions."
Looking at his expression, all she could think at that ti was that he had so doubts about her mind not being made up to proceed to the next step after a kiss, so she answered, without even hearing his question, "Yes, yes, yes. My answer is yes to all of your questions."
Zahara could still rember the helpless smile on his face along with a strange feeling inside of her—it was as if sothing had been forced into her soul. But she didn't have much ti to think about it because soon she heard Alex's voice again.
"You will wake up in an unknown location, but don't panic and wait for to co to you."
Those were his exact words before she felt the back of her head being karate chopped before she fell unconscious, only to find herself in this situation now.
'What do you want to tell , Alex?' She wondered, looking around in confusion, looking at the unfamiliar surroundings. "When are you going to arrive?"
The mont her mutter was heard, a snapping sound was heard, making Zahara alert as she quickly took a defensive stance, but the next second, a voice was heard—one she was very familiar with.
"Sorry for the delay," Alex spoke as he walked out of the bushes, staring at Zahara with a smile, but the girl wasn't looking at him right now. She did turn to look at him, but the mont she saw the person walking beside him, she paused.
"Who's she?"
This was Zahara's first question when she saw Sophie, who was smiling gently from the start, looking at her like she was her sister or sothing like that.
Alex, hearing that question, pursed his lips, knowing that he had to talk about it no matter what, and sighed.
The sole reason he bought Zahara here before accepting her proposal was to tell her everything about him. That included Sophie, who was his first love and first woman, and the fact that his won, once given permission, would be able to access the dream world and grow stronger together with him without having to worry about their limits.
Alex didn't want to keep Zahara in the dark about these things, only to find out that these things later on beca the reason for their relationship to get strained.
Alex wanted to co clean before moving forward.
Yes, Zahara had said that she wouldn't mind him having more won, but who knows if that was just sothing she said on an impulse or she really ant it?
So, now, with his mind made up, he looked into Zahara's eyes and spoke, "Co with . We have a lot of things to talk about."
Zahara, after a mont of silence, glancing at Sophie—who was no less beautiful than her, if not more—then back at Alex, nodded her head.
"Hm," with a hum, she followed behind Alex, who turned toward Sophie, making the blonde nod.
Whoosh
Using her power as the system, Sophie waved her hand, and the next instant, the space in front of them distorted, turning into a portal that led straight to the dream space.
"Co on," Alex breathed as he stepped into the dream space, followed by Sophie and Zahara, who, with a final glance at her surroundings, stepped into the dream space. Unaware of the shocking things she was going to discover today.
In the outside world, where their bodies rested, asleep and defenseless, Elaria the green-gold stag lay with her eyes open.
Before drifting into the dream world, Alex had called for her to keep watch, and as he had used his Emperor of the Beasts ability, Elaria, who would've protected them nonetheless, couldn't move from there until Alex woke up.
She just kept staring at Alex's devilishly handso contour.
'Who are you...?' She muttered inwardly, getting up from her spot and moving closer to him, staring at him up close.
'Why do I feel this strange connection with you?' She questioned again, but instead of asking them out loud, she kept them to herself.
Elaria still didn't trust Alex completely. She respected him because of the oppression she felt from him, but trust she didn't. She wasn't a creature who knew trust.
Elaria approached Alex out of curiosity in the first place. She was fifty years old, yet, in her whole life, she never knew there was soone like him out there. He appeared suddenly, out of nowhere, claiming this forest as his.
If she wanted to, she could've just broken free of his ability. He wasn't strong enough to be able to bind her with his bloodline; he didn't know, but nor was she that weak.
Elari was born strong. She was a seven-star, star formation-level beast since the ti she was born. And not just a normal seven-star, but one with 10 stars in her mind space.
She had automatically stepped into the star connection realm so years ago, without even doing anything other than sleeping. But she let Alex be.
Elaria wanted to observe this human—one that made her feel a strange sense of fate? Or maybe destiny? Whatever it was, she did feel so kind of connection with him.
But just as she was staring at his face...
Snap
The sound of a twig snapping was heard, making Elaria's ears twitch; her brows frowned. 'No one cos here...'
Other than Alex, no one knew the location of this place—she never told anyone about it.
That ant just one thing: they were followed.
'Hmm...' Her hoofs gracefully tapping the ground; she tried to sense how many and who they were, and soon she heard a voice.
"Are you sure they ca here?"
'A human male.' She could tell without even having to look at the guy, or more like she was looking at him, just not from her own eyes.
"Yes, I can see the footprints going straight."
'Another one.' She humd inwardly as she saw another man, both wearing all-black clothes, walking without making any noise, thinking they were being stealthy.
"So, we have to kill both Alex and Zahara?" One of them spoke, and the mont she heard those words, Elaria's eyes flashed coldly.
She didn't even need to hear anything else, as all she did was huff in anger and the next second...
Crack X2
Two crisp sounds of sothing breaking echoed through the still forest before it all went silent again, and Elaria, with another huff, laid down in front of Alex, closing her eyes, seemingly resting, but her senses awake, keeping a lookout for any other danger that might co this way.
