"Aside from those, the rest are just small fry."

Having said so much in one breath, Yasuo licked his lips. "Alright, a few hundred US dollars of intelligence is only worth this much. If you want to know more detailed stuff, you'll need more money."

Dean shook his head, indicating he didn't need it.

He had originally wanted to ask for so intelligence concerning the Lucchese Family, but considering that the other party wasn't a specialized Intelligence Organization and might not be tight-lipped, he dismissed the idea.

Moreover, Dean now had three official identities; obtaining detailed information about a Mafia family was very easy for him.

The two walked through the alley, turning left and right until they arrived at an open space where more than a dozen trucks were parked.

Yasuo went ahead to talk with the people guarding the fleet.

A mont later, Dean left with a thick black cloth-wrapped bundle.

When they parted, Yasuo also gave him a business card, saying he could contact him if needed, even for so heavy weaponry that could be delivered right to his door.

Dean had no words for that. True to Gotham City's reputation!

「The next day.」

A presidential suite in a hotel.

Dean, dressed in loose-fitting pajamas, watched as a blonde woman who limped as she walked brought him his docunts and intelligence. After she left, he closed the door and returned to his room.

He was a generous man. Tipping the waitstaff was a must, not to ntion these attractive female colleagues? It was only right to reward them for their services. Let's be honest. These won warriors, trained through hardship, were very smooth! And they were even more resilient in their interactions!

The female colleague had brought four items.

Three docunts and one piece of intelligence:

One was an FBI special consultant badge. On this, Dean's full na was Dean Lucches, of Italian descent, 22 years old, Grade B1 agent.

Another was an NSA special consultant badge. On that one, Dean's full na was Dean Smith, a surna common in the Commonwealth, of Irish descent, 22 years old.

The last one was a special detective badge from the New York Police Departnt. This one wasn't assigned to any specific departnt within the New York Police Departnt, and the information matched exactly with what Dean had in Los Angeles.

These three docunts were just for Dean's convenience, offering him more choices. But only by presenting the corresponding docunt would so governnt agencies be able to pull up his fabricated identity information through the badge number.

Beyond the three docunts, the remaining intelligence was detailed information about the Lucchese Family.

Dean picked up the thick file of intelligence and started flipping through it.

The Lucchese Family, which originated on the island of Sicily in Italy, spread around the world with Italian immigrants.

The mbers of the Lucchese Family primarily ca to the East Coast of the United States. During the Great Depression in the early 20th century, they rapidly expanded, reaching their peak in the 1950s, before completely declining around 1975.

Yes... The Lucchese Family, one of New York's five major Mafia families, had now fallen.

Most of its mbers were either dead, had fled, or were doing ti. While the survivors gradually recovered and regained so territory, many of their black-market channels had already been snatched away.

The Lucchese Family in New York today was just a small one, with less than a hundred mbers and a core of just over thirty people. They controlled a few agricultural trading companies, three nightclubs, and two talent agencies—a minor player.

They were doing alright, but they no longer held much sway in the underworld.

Besides that, Dean noticed a particularly special piece of information: The head of the Lucchese Family wanted to form an alliance with the Buiano Family and get a piece of the action in the black market.

This might have been the main reason why the Lucchese Family had suddenly convened mbers from all over the world. Strength in numbers, as the saying goes.

Dean morized the information on the main mbers of the New York Lucchese Family and, while playing with the newly acquired unregistered firearms and pineapple grenades, contemplated.

The current situation of the Lucchese Family actually suited his needs quite well. Dean wanted people to take care of various tasks for him without getting directly involved, and the blood-related Lucchese Family was undoubtedly a very good choice.

"Just as you want to expand, I need a group of underlings in the shadows; it seems you're in luck," Dean said, fiddling with a pineapple grenade and grinning.

「Evening.」

Dean called the number the Lucchese Family had left for his grandfather, waited for half an hour, and then, fully ard, got into the car the Lucchese Family sent to pick him up.

He had not intended to co here and leave empty-handed!

For safety's sake, Dean had deliberately saved the Attribute Points that he'd been awarded and upgraded on the plane.

When it was ti to add points to boost his physique, the warm current could replenish stamina and slightly accelerate wound healing. This was also sowhat of a little bug.

The car sent by the Lucchese Family took him through New York's old highways, moving towards the coast, and finally arrived at a manor near the seaside.

The manor was brightly lit, possibly due to the Lucchese Family's internal gathering the following day. Handso male and female servers moved about, showcasing the Lucchese Family's past heritage, while outside the manor, guests continued to arrive.

Possibly because Dean's grandfather really didn't have much clout here, the driver imdiately drove away after dropping him off.

Dean didn't mind. Dressed in fake designer clothes, he habitually scanned the surroundings.

Suddenly, his gaze sharpened, settling on an old classic car that had just parked.

The driver of the car, very gentlemanly, got out first to open the door, his hand resting on the roof to prevent a head bump.

A glamorous lady in an evening gown, holding up the hem of her dress, stepped out with a sowhat somber expression. She placed her slender legs on the red carpet and then walked into the manor, led by several servers.

Looking at her retreating figure, Dean looked skyward speechlessly. Why was Niel here???

At that mont, "WOW!" a whistle and an exclamation ca from behind Dean.

He turned to see a short girl with black hair and brown eyes. Behind the girl stood a tall, handso man, no shorter than Dean himself.

Seeing Dean turn around, the girl sheepishly stuck out her tongue. "Sorry, I was just surprised to see Miss Niel, who has been quite the talk of the town recently."

"Niel is famous?"

The man beside the girl, who had been sizing up Dean, nodded. "She is the most talented mber of our Lucchese Family at present and the star of tonight's ball. However, she has been living in the Commonwealth until now, so my sister is quite surprised to see her."

Dean was uncharacteristically lost in thought. What the hell! Niel was also a mber of the Lucchese Family. Rounding it off, if Mas and I are brothers, then that makes Niel and I cousins? What is this?
