Fuck!

...

After everyone had left, Dean entered the airplane's bathroom, preparing to call Amon, when a slender figure followed him in, locked the door, and embraced him from behind.

Feeling the softness against his back, Dean said helplessly, "Catherine, if it weren't for the mirror, I would have taken you down when you approached."

HMM.

Clinging tightly to Dean, Catherine rested her face on his back and owed, "I don't feel safe when I can't see you."

Dean tried to speak, but a mischievous hand had already seized his battle-hardened, bloodied 'gun.'

That's a man's weak spot.

Dean said helplessly, "I really have sothing important right now. Let's have a good talk after I'm done."

"Don't," Catherine squatted down. "Just do what you need to do. I need to release so tension right now."

Only then did Dean recall that due to his sudden burst of speed, his dress pants, unsuitable for exercise, had beco open-crotch pants.

Shit. I'm exposed. No wonder this woman's practically drooling.

The next mont.

HISS.

Dean inhaled sharply.

The 'gun' was placed in a hot spring.

And its head was being polished by an agile cloth.

What knight could refuse such attentive service?

Naturally, Dean couldn't either.

He leaned helplessly against the cabin wall, found Amon's number, and called.

"Dean?"

"Yeah, are you free to talk right now? There's sothing very important to discuss... HISS."

"I'm free to talk..." Amon's voice sounded strange. "But you're panting slightly; are you being hunted down?"

"It's nothing. I'm currently enjoying a hot spring with my 'good brother.' Never mind that, it's like this..." Dean briefly explained the situation.

Amon found it strange that there could be a hot spring on a plane, but these were minor details.

Hearing about hijacking and explosives, he beca as excited as Dean's 'good brother.' "Thank you, Dean," he said. "I'm in dire need of so major credit right now, and I won't let you down."

"I believe you, but this is just the beginning..."

Dean went on to explain the plan that Charles had ntioned.

The voice on the other end of the phone cut off abruptly. After a mont of silence, Amon said uncertainly, "Dean, as you know, when the credit gets too significant, it's like a piece of cake. If one person eats it, they can get stuffed to death. But if a group eats it, the people joining in wouldn't be happy to have little ants participating. If you could pull in the higher-ups from the Los Angeles Detective Bureau, that would be a different story."

He spoke euphemistically. To Amon, Dean was certainly not an ant. But if the main participants were DHS, FBI, and other high-level officials from New York, then any single individual would be an ant, unless Dean could involve the higher-ups from Los Angeles.

Dean thought for a mont and firmly declined, "I don't want any of the visible credit, but I cannot lose a single bit of my interests!"

Hearing Dean's response, Amon breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't worry, we're on the sa side, Dean. I swear, your gains will definitely exceed your expectations, enough for you to leave the ant house of the Los Angeles Detective Bureau and have a much broader world."

"I'm looking forward to it."

Dean hung up. He pondered for a long ti but still couldn't figure out what benefits Amon was talking about. But since Anthony had recomnded Amon, he probably wouldn't be disappointed. The key was, Dean didn't want to get too deeply involved in this. If Amon's people took over, he could easily downplay his own presence and make that Heavenly Church focus on them instead of a small fry like himself. With that, the whole affair would be perfectly resolved!

...

Dean put away his phone and flipped his 'little hot spring' over.

Catherine turned her head, looked at Dean, licked her lips, and said coquettishly, "Mr. Tough Detective, doesn't your 'good brother' want to soak anymore?"

"He now wants to mount the mammoth!"

Dean grabbed the reins, patted the mammoth's back, picked up a long whip, and snapped it, making the little mammoth neigh in pleasure and start running joyfully.

A fine mammoth.

...

「But let's not talk about galloping steeds for now.」

「On the other side.」

Amon, knowing this was his chance to climb higher, imdiately contacted his backers and coordinated between several departnts in the shortest possible ti.

After discussing credit distribution and dia guidance, the main actors from each departnt rushed to New York Airport at top speed.

The New York Airport manager, after receiving a phone call, cleared a runway as if bracing for a major threat.

At the sa ti, dia outlets of all sizes from New York, like sharks slling blood, gathered outside the airport.

It was foreseeable. A major, headline-grabbing spectacle, enough to cause a sensation, was about to kick off.
