Kevin: "That's good, make sure you don't get involved. No matter what, this kind of case is not sothing people like us should touch. Once you get involved, there's nothing I can do to save you."
Jimmy: "Yeah, that's why I really appreciate Dave and Hughes."
Kevin thought for a mont, "How about in the next few days, you help arrange a eting with Dave."
Jimmy glanced at Kevin, then continued looking ahead at the road, "Okay, where at?"
Kevin: "Is your bar safe?"
Jimmy: "Safe, there's a small room inside, very quiet."
Kevin: "Then there it is. Let know when you've confird the ti."
Jimmy: "No problem, I'll inform them in advance."
With things settled on Kevin's end, Jimmy drove back to the apartnt, pondering Kevin's words along the way. Kevin wants to et with Dave, probably to help Jimmy. Although Kevin isn't soone of huge importance, he should be able to chat with Dave sowhat. He's likely trying to get Jimmy a shield.
Having soone to help really feels good, especially when that person is definitely one of your own. Jimmy couldn't help but think about the people he knows; it seems there's been so ti without contact. Recently there have been many things, and he truly forgot.
Once Kevin and Dave's matters and the arrangent for learning through Kevin's connections are settled, take so ti to go out, find everyone to chat, and catch up on feelings.
Back at the apartnt, Jimmy freshened up, then sat on the sofa and told Nia about tonight's activities, watched a soap opera, and then rested.

When Jimmy went to work, he still found an excuse to go to Dave's office. After a brief chat, Jimmy ntioned Kevin's invitation to Dave.
Previously when Jimmy got engaged, Dave also received Jimmy's invitation but didn't attend. After all, it was just a small figure's engagent in the departnt, and the deputy director isn't that cheap to attend.
Dave also knew that Jimmy's father-in-law is an NYPD deputy chief. After thinking it over, he agreed to the invitation and could et Kevin at the bar on the weekend evening.
After thanking him, Jimmy left Dave's office, sent Kevin the ti and bar address, and this matter was considered done.
Kevin's efficiency over there was quite good. After chatting with Ryan at the auction, he quickly t Ryan again at the club. Such a private chat in the club was more relaxed, and the two exchanged conditions quickly while smoking cigars.
Kevin reaching this point, plus his father was also a sowhat local celebrity in New York back in the day, was familiar with certain things, just perhaps hadn't done much. Now, for his daughter's future happiness, doing so things for his son-in-law wasn't unacceptable.
Without communicating with Jimmy, Kevin had already settled so matters, and then it was just for Jimmy to handle.
Kevin called Jimmy to his place in the evening, and the two finally disclosed the results in the study.
Kevin: "Jimmy, I will find soone to prepare a recomndation letter for you. Additionally, you need to make a donation to a certain foundation, specifically directed at the university library."
Jimmy: "Okay, anything else?"
Kevin: "What I just ntioned was the simplest. The next two items are more troubleso. First, you need to find out if there are any similar senior detective ntoring programs in the departnt, or other programs supporting agent promotion. With such a program, you can join in without full attendance, as long as you ensure enough credits for key subjects, it won't affect your routine grades.
Second, you are now in the Public Affairs Office. Later, check the information, consider if there are any collaboration projects with academies. So things still need a title."
Jimmy took a breath, these two items aren't just about spending money. The first item is departnt policy, which he hadn't previously understood. Nobody has ntioned it, so it shouldn't be easy to resolve.
The second item, he knew. The office currently doesn't have such collaborative projects. It requires checking back with Mrs. Mason in the departnt, and if a temporary project is to be created, what procedures need to be followed.
The key is, to create a project for just one person, it doesn't make sense. He doesn't have that much face.
Jimmy: "These two items are very troubleso. At least, I haven't heard of any related policy in the departnt currently, I need to go find the policy files. What if there are none?"
Kevin: "If there are none, you'll have to go through the normal in-service education process, where class ti and credits are quite strictly monitored, and the ti required is also very long."
Jimmy: "What's the difference?"
Kevin: "If policy support is available, you can start the process to begin studies soon. Within one to two years, if you've accumulated enough credits in core and designated courses, you can graduate. If you follow the regular process, you'd have to enroll normally next year, and the study duration might range from two to three years."
Jimmy: "Alright, I'll check the information and see if I can manage a policy. The eting with Deputy Director Dave is arranged. Do you need to prepare anything for you?"
Kevin: "Does he have any hobbies?"
Jimmy: "Gin."
Kevin: "Then prepare so. The bar should have a collection of good ones, right?"
Jimmy: "It should. I'll have soone prepare it."

Policy issues are always the most troubleso. For the FBI, an institution with nurous employees, such policies are very hard to obtain. Whether a policy exists or not, even if it does, there's a lot of competition for spots.
