Jimmy didn't participate in helping those around; he was just standing guard with a gun, taking the ti to check on himself.

Jimmy wasn't completely unscathed. A fragnt of sothing unknown had cut the back of his left calf, and now the blood had soaked through his pant leg, making the pants stick to his leg noticeably.

For now, nothing else was found; the issue wasn't severe.

Jimmy looked around, went to the back door of the Suburban, opened it, and took out the first aid kit. He first tied a tourniquet around his leg tightly, then directly cut the pant leg open, sprinkled Hemostatic Powder on it, and wrapped it with a bandage to manage temporarily. The ambulance would arrive soon.

This incident was relatively big. The first NYPD officers checked Jimmy's credentials and imdiately began isolating the front and back areas to maintain order. Traffic was out of the question; there had been three explosions here, causing several rear-end collisions on the road, with many bullet holes as well, making it impossible to clear up.

Firetrucks and ambulances also arrived one after another within a few minutes. Jimmy had handled ergency treatnt on himself, so his issues weren't severe. They prioritized treating those injured around him.

The number of NYPD patrol officers and firetrucks that ca was sowhat large, mainly because too many people around called 911. For a while, the call center was inundated with various reports, pulling a whole group of patrol cars to rush over.

Wearing an FBI badge, Jimmy instructed the NYPD to protect the scene and assist citizens. After waiting for more than ten minutes, an FBI convoy arrived. Mahong got out and walked directly into the NYPD's cordon, coming next to Jimmy: "How is it? Are you hurt?"

Jimmy pointed to his calf: "Not too serious, three gunn, but they used grenades and a rocket launcher. I'm not familiar with rocket launchers; you can take a look at what model this is."

Jimmy led Mahong to Perkins's corpse, with the rocket launcher beside her body.

Mahong just glanced at the rocket launcher and then turned to Jimmy: "How did you do it? That's an M72 rocket launcher, one-ti use."

Jimmy: "After I took her down, the rocket launcher still fired, just veered off a bit and hit the car by the roadside."

Mahong surveyed the scene, left Jimmy's spot, and instructed the agents who ca with him that the on-site investigation could wait a bit. They should first conduct on-site interviews with bystanders, check if anyone recorded videos, and if there are surveillance caras, all of which need to be collected.

Jimmy didn't interfere with their arrangents. He went to the nearby ambulance, "Doctor, could you take a look? I think I've been cut open by shrapnel or sothing else."

The doctor examined him while asking, "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere else?"

Jimmy: "I don't feel anything for now. Could you check for ?"

The doctor glanced up at Jimmy, "Take off your jacket, I'll check you."

Jimmy took off his suit, his shirt and the holster strapped on it being very conspicuous, along with the holster on his belt, creating a sense of intimidation.

"Cool! Let see, there's a scratch on your back, it's shallow, no need for stitches, but the wound needs cleaning. You didn't feel it?"

Jimmy: "No, please deal with it, I probably can't go to the hospital right now."

"I strongly recomnd you go to the hospital for a check-up, an explosion just happened here. To avoid any potential harm from the shockwave, it's better to have a comprehensive examination."

Jimmy: "Is it necessary?"

"Of course."

Jimmy turned his head to glance at the scene, "I'll greet them then head off."

Jimmy found Mahong: "Mahong, I need to go to the hospital for a check-up, it's up to you here. That Suburban is mine, tow it away; it was hit once by a grenade, probably beyond repair."

Mahong nodded: "Go ahead. Don't worry about things here."

Jimmy turned back to stand by the ambulance and said to the doctor, "Alright, when are we leaving here?"

Doctor: "We can go now, get in."

Jimmy got into the ambulance; there was already an injured person lying on the stretcher bed, strapped down. He sat beside them, and two paradics got on board to head to the hospital.

As an FBI agent, with expenses covered by public funds, Jimmy underwent a thorough examination this ti: head CT scan, X-ray, ECG, blood test, eye examination, and so on. The final result was pretty good; Jimmy had only three external injuries: cuts on his calf and back by foreign objects and so bruises on his arm.

Jimmy sat in the hospital room, picked up his phone, seeing over a dozen missed calls, mostly from Caitlin, followed by Hughes. Well, if Caitlin and Hughes were this anxious about calling, it was likely about today's incident.

Jimmy dialed Hughes's number, "Hughes, I was just in the hospital for a check-up, what's going on?"

Hughes: "DHS has fully intervened in this case, it's now defined by DHS as a terrorist attack, and soone should be contacting you."

Jimmy: "I have records of two calls from unknown numbers on my phone. Do I need to contact them now?"

Hughes: "Just wait for them to call you."

Jimmy: "OK, I still have to call Caitlin back. Goodbye, Hughes."

After hanging up with Hughes, Jimmy checked the missed calls again, noted the two unnad numbers, then called Caitlin. It seed she was also anxious, never leaving her phone unattended; she picked up the second the ringtone started: "Jimmy, where are you?"
