Tom: "Why not have Sam and the others help with the shopping? By the way, where is Sam?"

Mrs. Walsz shook her head: "He went to get so supplies, should be back by noon. What's brought you here this ti?"

Tom: "I ca to see you, I've settled in Florida now."

Mrs. Walsz nodded: "Good, it's nice that you've settled down. You've been busy for decades, it's ti to rest."

Tom: "Have you been in touch with anyone recently?"

Mrs. Walsz shook her head, "There's no need to contact them, there aren't many left anyway, and they're scattered all over, too troubleso."

Tom: "How are you feeling these days? Would you like to co stay with for a while, take a little break? I've set up a small farm, the climate's nice over there."

Mrs. Walsz: "No, I've grown old and don't want to move around. I've already made a will to be with a few old friends after I pass."

Tom lowered his voice, "Please don't say that, you're still in good health."

Mrs. Walsz smiled and shook her head: "So, what brings you here?"

Tom: "It's Jimmy, Jimmy Yang, the son of Veronique Durand."

Mrs. Walsz: "What's about him?"

Tom: "He's now a Senior Agent at the FBI, and he wants to retire from the CIA, to live a life in the sunshine."

Mrs. Walsz paused, "Is this his own decision?"

Tom nodded: "Yes."

Mrs. Walsz: "Why?"

Tom fell silent; Mrs. Walsz wasn't asking why Jimmy felt this way, but why Tom agreed and ca to see her.

Tom spoke with a sowhat heavy voice, "I have no family left."

Mrs. Walsz sighed, "Ah... in our line of work, it's inevitable. I understand, Tommy. Tell about the current situation."

Tom: "As I told you before, he was activated by Caitlin in New York. Later, he made a private agreent with her, agreeing to remain dormant in exchange for doing so tasks for her.

A few days ago, he was scheduled for an official mission by Caitlin without notice. It troubled him greatly since he's not yet thirty, and with this in his record, he can't continue with the FBI.

Moreover, Jimmy has a girlfriend, he's even successfully proposed, and they're preparing for the engagent ceremony. He doesn't want to keep living a double life."

Mrs. Walsz shook her head, "The young people nowadays."

Tom looked at Mrs. Walsz, and she thought for a mont, "I'll handle it."

Tom: "Does Veronique have any family left?"

Mrs. Walsz shook her head: "No, Veronique Durand's father, Harry Anderson, didn't leave any family."

Tom: "Thank you, ma'am."

Mrs. Walsz: "And you?"

Tom: "At my age, not much anymore. Being a farr on the farm is good enough for ."

They chatted for a little while longer, and when Sam returned with the supplies, Tom had lunch there before leaving the cabin in the woods. He didn't return to New York but went back to Washington, D.C. to wait for news, knowing Mrs. Walsz wouldn't keep him waiting too long.

The next day, Tom received a call from Mrs. Walsz, "Tommy, bring Jimmy over on Friday night."

Tom: "Thank you."

Tom checked the ti and called Jimmy, "Co to Washington, D.C. to find on Friday afternoon."

Jimmy: "OK."

Jimmy hung up the phone and looked at Isabel in front of him, looking a bit troubled, "Are you sure you want to announce it?"

Isabel nodded, "There are too many videos of your operation in Queens; the major TV stations haven't reported it, but it's all over online. Right now, neither the DHS nor the Anti-Terrorism Bureau have co out to refute it, and the NYPD has already said publicly that an FBI agent was involved in the mission."

Jimmy: "Give so ti to get in touch with them."

Isabel: "Well, if it's confird that we are to make the announcent, then they at least need to arrange personnel to be present."

Jimmy: "Understood."

Isabel left Jimmy's office, and Jimmy slapped the file on the desk. Caitlin and her team did a terrible job.

Jimmy walked to the door, closed the office door, took out his phone, and dialed Caitlin's number, "Caitlin, we need to talk."

Caitlin: "My office."

Jimmy hung up the phone, opened the office door, and left.

At the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, Jimmy arrived at Caitlin's office, "So, what's the status of that case now?"

Caitlin: "The DIA has taken over the subsequent investigation, our part is done."

Jimmy: "Have you seen the news online?"

Caitlin: "The shootout? Yes."

Jimmy: "Now the pressure is on the FBI. The NYPD has already leaked that it was an FBI-handled case, and now all the dia are pressuring the FBI to release information."

Caitlin: "I understand. You're in the Public Affairs Office, right?"

Jimmy: "So now this matter is my business, and I need your cooperation to release so things and bring closure to this incident."

Caitlin: "No, not now. The case hasn't reached a final report yet. If we release information now, it will affect the investigation."

Jimmy: "No, no, if you don't go public, we in the FBI have a whole departnt for that. There are dia requests every day, and now everyone wants at least a little information to alleviate so pressure."

Caitlin: "That's your business, then. Is that all?"

Jimmy: "No, that's just the official part. Now for personal matters, can I see the files this ti?"

Caitlin's stern face briefly smiled and then returned to its serious expression. She opened a drawer, took out a sheet of paper, and handed it to Jimmy.

Jimmy took the file, which contained case intelligence, arrest records, and finally, the case's subsequent handover. He focused on the first two parts.

The case was reported by the DIA, handled jointly by three departnts. There were four attendees at the eting: a DIA technical supervisor, an FBI senior agent, and two senior CIA managers, with their nas all blacked out.

During the espionage vehicle interception, Anti-Terrorism Bureau agents with blacked-out nas participated in the action. The FBI senior agent, whose na was also blacked out, arrived at the scene later, injured three bodyguards, and successfully captured the target.

After reading the file, Jimmy looked at Caitlin: "Is this all of it?"

Caitlin: "Are you reassured now?"

Jimmy: "Is this all of it? No additional supplental files?"

Caitlin nodded: "This is the mission file. Each participating agent's file will record a case number linked to this file. I've already processed that, and you're not on the agent list."

Jimmy nodded: "Thank you." He returned the copied file to Caitlin, "So to what extent can we disclose this case?"

Caitlin: "Do not ntion specific departnts, individuals, or details of the case."

Jimmy: "OK, then I'll head back."

Jimmy turned and left Caitlin's office. The file he just saw was a copy. No one knows how the original was written. Jimmy didn't have the opportunity to see the original case file, but he rembered the file number. Now, he just needed to figure out how to see the original.

Jimmy returned to the FBI office and first went to Mrs. Eleanor Mason's office, "Mrs. Mason, is the report docunt on the last case still available here?"

Eleanor nodded: "What's the matter?"

Jimmy: "Isabel contacted earlier. Many dia outlets are inquiring about the shootout situation. I've already contacted the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, and this is sothing we have to handle ourselves since their case has not been concluded."

Eleanor turned around, searched in the file cabinet beside her, and handed a folder to Jimmy, "You handle it yourself."
