Jimmy spent two honest days in New York, just wandering the streets, not going anywhere or contacting anyone, except Nia.

Waiting is always a headache, and Jimmy is in that kind of situation now. There is no public bounty, everything is arranged by Winston, and who took the task or what step it's at is completely a black box operation.

Jimmy doesn't have any informants in DC either, and he's not sure if any action has been taken. This feeling of being out of control makes him very uncomfortable, increasingly missing Tom. Tom always seems able to find partners wherever he is, investigate related intelligence, without having to worry about being discovered or tracked.

Actually, if he wanted to know the outco, he could ask Caitlin to investigate Sullivan, but that's not an easy question to ask. If he goes ahead and asks, and the result is that soone died, then his suspicion would be completely confird.

Right now, he has only asked Caitlin to look into the information previously, but he has always been in New York and hasn't left, no matter what goes wrong, at least he won't be completely exposed, or rather, there would be no way to convincingly prove that he arranged for soone to do it.

Jimmy changed into casual clothes and went to the bar, just to enjoy the atmosphere and relax a bit. Today, the bar manager Isaac, unusually, was sitting alone in a corner drinking, which was a rare sight, though mainly because Jimmy rarely ca by.

From Woody, Jimmy directly took half a bottle of whiskey and sat next to Isaac, "Hey, Isaac, why are you sitting here alone?"

Isaac looked up at Jimmy, clinked glasses with him, "Boss, you're coming around quite often lately."

Jimmy shrugged, having been an absentee owner for so long that Isaac was not used to it. "Just happened to be taking a break lately, you don't look good, what happened?"

Isaac sighed, "It just so happens I need to take a few days off."

Jimmy: "Of course, no problem, but what happened? Is there anything I can help you with?"

Isaac: "I need to go back and deal with so paperwork with my wife."

Jimmy, full of questions: "What? I don't understand."

Isaac: "She's about to beco my ex-wife, and my daughter is leaving too." After speaking, Isaac picked up the bottle and poured himself half a glass, downing it in one go.

Jimmy: "Why? It's understandable that life was tough when you were unemployed, but now your inco isn't low, why get divorced now? What is she thinking?"

Isaac looked down at his glass, shaking his head, "It's all my fault, nothing to do with her. I don't want to talk about it."

Jimmy took a sip of his drink, shaking his head speechlessly. It seed in his ti as the bar manager, Isaac had caused so trouble, likely using the wrong head, and got caught.

Jimmy: "Okay, you go handle your family affairs, don't worry, I'll let Woody manage things here for now. If anything cos up on your end, just contact , and I'll see if I can help."

After having a couple of drinks and saying goodbye to Isaac, just as he was about to leave, his phone vibrated in his pocket. Taking a glance, Jimmy answered the call, "Hi, Peter." Jimmy sat back down with the phone, while Isaac, seeing Jimmy on the call, got up and left.

Peter: "Jimmy, where are you?"

Jimmy: "In my bar, what's up?"

Peter: "Okay, wait for , I'm coming over to see you."

Jimmy: "Alright, I'll wait for you."

Jimmy hung up the phone, still a bit confused. Peter hardly ever contacted him anymore. It's been almost two years since he left the White Collar Cri Unit; since then, it mostly has been seeing each other occasionally and greeting, rarely such direct visits.

After thinking for a bit, Jimmy asked the waiter to bring so snacks over, drinking alone was too boring.

Soon, Peter arrived, and he brought that consultant along too.

Jimmy stood up to welco them, "Hi, Peter, Kafrey."

Peter: "Hi, Jimmy."

Jimmy gestured, and the waiter brought two more glasses, Jimmy picked up the bottle and poured for them, "Why the sudden visit?"

Peter: "Jimmy, how's the custor flow here now?"

Jimmy spread his hands: "Why don't you take a look for yourself, the traffic is still quite good. Is there sothing up?"

Peter: "Yeah, I want to borrow your bar to throw a party."

Jimmy: "Work-related?"

Peter nodded, and Jimmy looked at Kafrey, then back at Peter, "Of course, no problem. When?"

Peter: "Next week, the exact ti isn't set yet, need to confirm the venue first."

Jimmy nodded, "Hold on." He shouted towards the bar counter, "Woody! Co over here."

Woody turned his head towards Jimmy, seeing him wave; he put down his glass and ca over to them.

Jimmy: "Woody, this is Peter, he's going to book a night here next week for a party, support him later. Peter, once you decide you can contact Woody directly, the manager Isaac needs to go ho for a while to handle so family matters, so he might not be here for so ti."

Woody extended his hand to Peter for a handshake, "Nice to et you, Woody Boyd."

Peter: "Peter Bullock."

Woody took out a business card from his vest pocket and handed it to Peter, then looked at Jimmy, "Boss, I'll get back to work. You guys talk."

Jimmy nodded, and Woody returned to the bar. Peter looked at Jimmy, "You're not going to ask the reason?"

Jimmy shrugged and raised his glass to clink with them, "Why ask? I spent a few months in the White Collar Cri Unit, you need to get things done, and I just happen to have a bar available, of course, I'll fully support you."
