Caitlin had indeed found out part of the information and, adding her own deductions, roughly understood why Jimmy was targeted. It just wasn't possible to discuss it over the phone.

Looking at the number written on the paper, Caitlin picked up the pen and registered another number. Then she rose and walked to the command center. As the acting director, she had brought her own team with her. The previous team mbers, Watson and Kerry, had already left the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, and as for their current whereabouts, that was no longer her concern.

Caitlin approached a female staff mber and placed the paper on her desk, "Linda, check the location of these three numbers."

Linda nodded, opened the system, and entered the mobile numbers to pinpoint their locations. Since the mobile phones linked to the two numbers were turned on, the location tracking was much faster than if the phones had been turned off.

Caitlin looked at the monitor which displayed the locations. Jimmy's number was in Houston; the other two numbers were in Albuquerque and Hobbs, New xico.

Caitlin said, "Print out the locations and maps." After that, she took out her own phone and called Jimmy.

Caitlin said, "Jimmy, find a fax machine. Also, when will you be back?"

Jimmy answered, "I'm not sure yet."

Jimmy found a print shop, obtained the fax number, and sent it to Caitlin. Having the mobile number made things much easier.

Jimmy waited for the fax to arrive, took the map, and left the print shop. It seed that the person hadn't dealt with Davis yet. Jimmy went to a warehouse, directly picked up a travel bag that Davis had packed, and placed it into the trunk, then he returned to his hotel. In the warehouse, Jimmy glanced at the other items, but they were of no use to him.

Sitting on the hotel bed, Jimmy looked at the several bags in front of him and was worried. He was out on private work, but what was he going to do with all these items?

After so thought, Jimmy decided to use a special channel. He took out an unregistered phone and called Justin, "Justin, can you make a trip to Houston? I have a batch of goods I need you to store temporarily."

Justin's head was aching. The morning was supposed to be his sleeping ti, but Jimmy's call had already irked him when he woke up, and now he was being asked to make a trip to Houston.

Justin asked, "Is it urgent?"

Jimmy replied, "The quantity is quite large."

Justin said, "I'll give you a number, contact him to bring it over."

Jimmy responded, "No, I can't trust others with this stuff. Make the trip."

Jimmy couldn't specify more over the phone. Although it was an unregistered call, he had investigated too many such calls. It was still too sensitive.

Justin thought for a mont, "Tomorrow then. I'll arrange it and call you when I get there."

Jimmy had originally planned to leave imdiately, but it looked like he had to wait another day now. He also couldn't feel at ease with the items in his hotel room.

In the evening, Jimmy received a call from Caitlin arranging to et him at the Hilton Hotel near the Toyota Center. Jimmy was sowhat puzzled; Caitlin had been in New York that morning, so how did she suddenly end up in Houston?

Driving to the Hilton Hotel next to the Toyota Center, Jimmy saw Caitlin in professional won's attire in the restaurant. Honestly, Caitlin was definitely a beauty, albeit a bit older.

Caitlin gestured for Jimmy to sit down, ordered food, and handed Jimmy a thumb drive.

Caitlin said, "Your matter has been almost fully investigated. Everything is on this thumb drive; you can check it when you get back."

Jimmy thanked her, "Thanks, and you even made a special trip."

Caitlin replied, "I, of course, had other things to do as well."

Jimmy smiled and asked, "By the way, why was I activated back then?"

Cailtin's smile remained unchanged, "It was just a minor accident, and it has been resolved."

After the al, Caitlin rely chatted casually with Jimmy about everyday matters without touching on any missions or cases. Jimmy was mostly confused throughout the al and just reciprocated the conversation.

After all, Caitlin was a senior CIA official and the acting director of the New York Anti-Terrorism Bureau; a casual dinner chat with nothing particular, who would believe that?

Back at the hotel, after confirming that no one had tampered with his room, Jimmy plugged the thumb drive into the laptop he had bought on his way back and accessed the files.
