Just as Jimmy had thought, though he was rely driving and following, he ended up in the very place he had observed before, Olden. The rcedes turned into a side street; Jimmy didn't follow directly but parked the car after the intersection and walked over.

Jimmy had observed this place before. Although he had not run through every street, he had a rough understanding of the area. This street had fewer than ten buildings on it, so Jimmy wasn't worried about losing track.

Jimmy walked down the street for a while. In front of a villa, the rcedes made a U-turn. Even though it was night and he couldn't visually make out anyone inside the car, Heart Eye could see that the back seat was empty. The rcedes passed by Jimmy, leaving the neighborhood. It seed like the professional driver was rely dropping soone off, and would leave only to return the next day for pickup.

Jimmy turned his head away from the departing rcedes and began to observe the villa. There were three people inside—two adults and a child. One of the adults had long hair, which likely indicated she was the lady of the house.

After a glance, Jimmy noticed surveillance caras at the entrances of several nearby villas. He could only pretend to be an ordinary passerby, circulate the area once, and then co back from the front.

Having confird the location, what remained was how to approach. Jimmy went back to his car to change his clothes and shoes. He had worn a baseball cap before, and now he switched to a knit cap.

Close to midnight, Jimmy put on gloves and climbed over the side wall to reach the backyard. After a detour, he approached the target villa stealthily from the side.

Heart Eye Observation was truly convenient. The child was already lying in bed on the second floor, and there were no lights visible through the windows, so he should be asleep. The woman was also in bed, but the lights in that bedroom were on, and it wasn't certain if she was asleep.

Jimmy's target was sitting in the study on the first floor, apparently working on a computer. Even though Jimmy couldn't see the screen from behind, he felt certain it was the target—bald and his body shape matched the man he had followed during the day.

Jimmy took a black mask out of his pocket, put it on, and gently pulled at the kitchen's back door, which was locked. He had no choice but to enter the house through a window. It puzzled him how Arican folks would lock their doors tightly but leave their windows simply closed, not even latching them from the inside—it seed they guarded against gentlen but not villains.

Jimmy entered the kitchen, took a couple of pieces of kitchen paper to wipe his shoe soles, then quietly moved out of the kitchen and tiptoed to the outside of the study.

Drawing a black gun, Jimmy pushed open the door and said in a slightly deeper voice, "Don't move! Make no sound." The study was at so distance from the second-floor bedroom, not directly below it, so if he kept his voice low, there was less chance of being discovered from upstairs.

The man turned his head and saw Jimmy, his eyes widening as he asked in a normal voice, "Who are you?" while his right hand left the mouse and started to move downward.

Jimmy said, "Don't move, you don't want the child upstairs to be killed, do you?"

The man imdiately stopped all movent, then slowly lifted his right hand up to the table and whispered, "Don't be rash, brother. We can talk about whatever it is, just leave my family out of it."

Jimmy said, "If you cooperate, there won't be any trouble upstairs. Your na."

Davies replied, "Davies, Morry Davies."

Jimmy continued, "Morry? Morry…"

Davies responded, "Okay, you know who I am. Let's get this over with quickly. What's your purpose?"

Jimmy asked, "What were you doing in Midtown today?"

Davies answered, "Two of my guys were killed; I went to deal with the aftermath."

Jimmy inquired, "Their nas, the two who died?"

Davies said, "Louis and David. What exactly do you want to know?"

Jimmy commanded, "Open the safe, the one behind you."

Davies looked at Jimmy, pondered for a mont, then nodded, "For money? How much is my life worth to you?"

Jimmy insisted, "We'll go step by step, don't rush. Open the safe."

Davies took a bunch of keys from the desk, turned in his chair, bent over to open the cabinet door, revealing the safe inside. It was a small safe with limited space inside. Jimmy shifted position to watch as Davies turned the combination and used a key to unlock it, then Davies stood up, raised his hands, and moved to the side.

Jimmy ordered, "Turn around, hands behind your back."

Davies turned slowly, an obvious reluctance in his movents. Jimmy's zip ties were double-looped for convenience; once placed over the wrists and pulled tight, they securely fixed the hands. After securing Davies with zip ties, Jimmy did a cursory search of his pockets and had him move to the corner to sit on a single-seater sofa against the wall.

Jimmy pulled another sofa over without positioning it directly towards Davies and sat down before asking, "OK, now tell , where is Tim Spark?"
