Nia turned her head in surprise and looked at Jimmy, "Yours? You bought it?"

Jimmy nodded, "Yeah, I bought it over a year ago. Wait, did you always think this was a rented apartnt?"

Sitting up straight, Nia leaned toward Jimmy, "Aren't you an orphan? How could you afford an apartnt here? Oh, and your car!"

Jimmy chuckled, wrapping an arm around Nia and pulling her close, "Don't worry, it's not dirty money. I own a small company, and though it doesn't make a lot, it's enough to live on. I had the company before I ca to New York, and I'm not a dirty cop, nothing against the rules."

Nia poked at Jimmy's chest with her finger, "Why have you never ntioned this before?"

Jimmy held her hand, the poking was tickling him, "You never asked, and I'm not so tycoon looking to make a ton of money. Living comfortably is all that matters to ."

Jimmy paused for a mont, "If all I wanted was to make money, I wouldn't have joined the FBI in the first place, I would have just continued running my company."

Nia's one hand was caught by Jimmy, and her other hand wasn't being still either; okay, in retaliation for Jimmy's concealnt, it seed she was about to launch a second war. Jimmy, teased as well, was starting to get fired up, and the battle reignited.

The next morning, after Nia had finished washing up, she opened the closet to find her clothes. For convenience, a part of Jimmy's closet had already been taken over, where Nia stored so of her clothings for a change.

Seeing Jimmy showing no intention of getting dressed, Nia asked, "Aren't you preparing for work? Are you off today as well?"

Jimmy, "Yeah, I'm off for two days, just in ti to keep you company. What do you plan on doing today?"

Nia, "Work out, then go shopping. I have also arranged a etup with two old classmates who are here for Fashion Week."

Jimmy, "OK, wait for , let's go together."

After checking his phone and opening the computer in the study to check his emails, confirming there was nothing urgent, Jimmy headed out with Nia for their gym session.

While Jimmy was enjoying his leisure ti, things were not so relaxing on Hughes' end. Previously, Jimmy had completed several major cases and, though only a second-year, performing too well can also be troubleso; his normal promotion process had hit a snag.

Hughes compiled Jimmy's materials and submitted a request to promote Jimmy to Senior Agent, but it didn't take long for OPR to co knocking again, and once more it was Fuller.

Fuller, "Hughes, regarding Jimmy, we need to conduct another round of due diligence on him."

Hughes, "Why? Give a reason."

Fuller, "We've looked over his previous case reports, and there are significant issues here. Many of his cases were handled solo, and the authenticity of the submitted reports and evidence needs to be re-verified."

Hughes frowned at Fuller, wondering why this was happening. Why conduct due diligence at this crucial mont? Whose idea was this? Hughes did not believe this was what Fuller himself wanted to do. Jimmy was already known in the Manhattan office as a tough agent, and without so vested interest, it was hard to imagine anyone deliberately throwing a wrench in Jimmy's path.

Hughes, "48 hours."

Fuller nodded his head and turned to leave Hughes' office.

Watching Fuller's departure, Hughes considered what directions this situation could take, especially since Ruiz had just reported the progress of the raid on the Azte gang that morning. Jimmy had once again fought hard. Although there were many casualties, he ensured that all agents were unhard and not a single person escaped, a comndable achievent. Now, what to do?

Thinking it over, Hughes directly called Mahong, because of Jimmy's involvent in the action against the Azte gang, he was temporarily arranged to take two days of administrative leave.
