Jimmy set down the newspaper and returned to the outside of the command center. He knocked on the door, waved to Noah who turned to look, and then entered the command center.

Jimmy, "Mr. Watson, could you have the techs keep an eye on that cell phone number from earlier? Of course, it won't interfere with your work. Just let know when it gets switched back on and connects to a cell tower."

Noah looked at Jimmy for a few seconds, then nodded, "I understand, I'll arrange it."

Jimmy, "Thanks, I'm heading down."

It's truly troubleso to communicate with outsiders, but Jimmy considered this smooth enough, especially since it was a bomb case, and Noah Watson hadn't outright refused, which was good news.

Afterward, Jimmy could only stay in the eting room until it was ti to leave work and drive ho to rest.

The next day, not long after arriving at the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, soone ca to the conference room to inform Jimmy to go to the command center.

Noah was not in the command center; now it was Kerry, who had been following Noah, commanding in the command center.

Kerry, "Jimmy, perfect timing. The burner phone you were monitoring is active again, five minutes ago, in Brooklyn's Canaan, but there's no call record yet."

Jimmy, "OK, I'll notify Gordon and his team."

After asking for the specific location, Jimmy walked out of the command center and dialed Gordon's number in the hallway, "Gordon, does Scott's team have anyone in Brooklyn's Canaan? The burner phone is on again, but there's been no calls made or received yet."

Gordon raised his voice a notch, "Hold on a second, I'll ask them."

Looking at the disconnected call, Jimmy was sowhat speechless; Gordon was too anxious. He hadn't given the location yet.

Fortunately, after a few minutes, Gordon called back, "Joey's target is in Canaan. We've now confird the person eting with Ashi. We'll keep monitoring. Just wait at the Anti-Terror Bureau for now."

Jimmy, "Are you sure it's him?"

Gordon, "Of course. Of the few suspects we're monitoring, there's only one in Canaan right now. Joey has a surveillance team on it, and I'll arrange for more support."

Jimmy, "Alright, if you're going to move on him, rember to let know."

Gordon, "Don't worry. That's it for now, I'm heading to the scene too."

Jimmy, "OK, keep posted."

Jimmy hung up the phone and returned to the command center. The monitors on the wall still showed the mosque they had been monitoring, wondering what they could possibly be watching that allowed them to entirely ignore a potential bombing case.

Jimmy, "Kerry, we've identified the suspect, and Gordon and his team have started surveillance."

Kerry, "OK, keep inford," he said while continuing to watch the screens.

Speaking of which, Kerry must have learned from Noah. In the command center, they all stood, even if there were empty chairs nearby, never seen sitting. Jimmy wondered what kind of habit this was.

Jimmy stood for a while, when his other cell phone in his pocket vibrated. He took it out and glanced at the ssage from an unknown number.

"See you tonight." Well, although it was from an unknown number, he already knew who it was.

Jimmy didn't reply to the ssage, simply deleted it, and put the phone back in his pocket. He continued to watch the Anti-Terrorism Bureau handle their case. It seed their person of interest was highly uncertain. Every man in the frozen surveillance footage was marked and identified, a very ti-consuming task, and with current facial recognition technology not being completely reliable, the accuracy was not as high as in later generations.

Jimmy had used facial recognition in the FBI system several tis before. Honestly, the surveillance footage itself was not very clear, and the screenshot taken was very blurry, making the matching effect even worse. If it was a photo taken by a cara, the results would be much better, so using an ID photo for recognition had a high success rate.

Jimmy watched as everyone in the command center was busy with their computers, conducting queries. Suddenly, he felt incredibly idle. Being a liaison was the most boring job; now that the suspect had been identified, maybe he should join Gordon and his team in surveillance? If sothing happened, he could handle it promptly.

But now wasn't the ti to go directly to Gordon. Since he had already been assigned a task, he had to follow through with the plan and not act on his own whims. Cooperation always ant suppressed autonomy.

Checking the ti, Jimmy thought for a mont and decided not to stir things up just yet, as he had a eting with Tom that evening.

Jimmy had planned just to while away the ti, but before long, he received a call from Gordon. The suspect had just taken a phone call, but they couldn't hear the content due to the surveillance asures at the scene. Jimmy imdiately entered the command center, "Kerry, we need to urgently check on a case. The suspect just took a call, and we need to find out who it was from and the content of the call as soon as possible."

Kerry frowned at Jimmy, nodded, walked over to an operator, bent down to speak a few words, then nodded at Jimmy again and left the command center.

It seed they interrupted their own mission, and Kerry didn't seem too happy. Hopefully, he wasn't going to complain to Noah, was he?

After a few minutes without any results, Noah and Kerry both walked in.

Noah, "Jimmy, is there any new developnt?"

Jimmy, "Yes, Mr. Watson. Gordon just contacted . The suspect took a call, so we need help from this end to track down who made the call and the content of that call."
