Steven nodded: "Thank you, Jimmy."

He reached out to take the files, organized them, and put them back in his bag. Jimmy got up, fetched two unopened bottles of mineral water from the side, and handed one to Steven, "You still have to drive, so don't drink alcohol."

Steven thanked him, took a sip of water, chatted for a while longer, and then got up to leave. It was rare to return to Albuquerque, and once business was done, he surely wanted to return ho. However, as he reached the door, he suddenly stopped, turned around, and said, "Jimmy, could I trouble you for a day or two? Help keep an eye on this guy, I'll be back from El Paso as soon as I can."

It's a hassle, Jimmy thought, "One day, I need to head back to New York the day after tomorrow, you know, I have kids at ho, I miss them."

Steven: "OK, I'll arrange for soone to be with you, you're not familiar with this place."

Jimmy nodded and saw Steven off. It was apparent that Steven, having gotten a reminder from Jimmy, was about to do sothing. Being from El Paso, coming back to Albuquerque to handle a case was not easy; who knows how he managed to get ti off from his office. But from his words, it could be seen that he had a deep relationship with Hank, deep enough to temporarily put aside his current tasks.

The wounds on his body healed quickly, the scratches now just leaving fresh marks. As for the wound, it had healed, the scabs were deep-colored, though he hadn't picked them off. Based on the average person's recovery speed, he should be nearly recovered by now.

Although his relationship with Hank and Steven wasn't that close, he trusted his own skills enough to help them for a day without any real danger or issues. Plus, Hank was injured, almost ending up paralyzed from the waist down, so whatever help he could offer now was basically contributing to avenging Hank.

Early the next morning, a DEA agent arranged by Steven ca over, a young Latin Arican with curly hair, "Agent Yang, I'm Miguel Figo, Agent Goz arranged for to assist you in monitoring and investigating Jesse Pinkman."

After shaking hands and exchanging greetings with him, Jimmy headed downstairs together, a bit dumbfounded at the black SUV in front of them, "Is this your company car? Is the plate registered with the departnt?"

Miguel nodded: "It's a departnt car, but the plate is a disguise, registered under a renovation company."

"That's good, let's head out. By the way, do you know the address?"

Miguel started the car out of the parking lot, "I've already looked up Jesse Pinkman's information, there are two addresses, one is a house he bought, the other is rented. Due to the tight schedule, I haven't confird his exact location yet, we'll just have to check it out first."

Jimmy nodded. When Steven Goz left yesterday, it was already quite late; arranging for soone who had already reviewed the data was comndable. Confirming Jesse's location overnight would be too demanding, "Head to his own place first, don't stop, just drive by slowly."

With Heart Eye Vision's assistance, Jimmy didn't need to stop and approach the house to inspect it. Just passing by in front would be enough to see inside, though there was no need to explain this to the young man; just managing the situation sufficed.

Miguel was a good driver, the car was steady, and the speed was fast. In just over half an hour, Jimmy confird Jesse's location, though it seed there were many people inside the house.

"Don't stop, keep driving ahead, circle around the block twice and co back."

As Miguel drove past Jesse's house and was about to park by the side, Jimmy stopped him and followed Jimmy's instructions to continue driving. Ten minutes later, when they returned near Jesse's ho, Jimmy pointed to a spot not far away and said, "Drop off here, keep the car moving, wait for my call for ten minutes, drive slowly but don't stop."

Miguel couldn't help but turn his head to look at Jimmy and asked, "Is there an issue around here? Need backup?"

Jimmy: "No, I need you to pass by repeatedly to confirm if there's anyone watching. Just follow my instructions, now, pull over."

After noting down Miguel's phone number in advance, Jimmy got out of the car, stood under a tree in the shade, lit a cigarette, and dazily smoked.

Maybe Miguel didn't notice, or maybe he just didn't expect it, but Jimmy was quite sure there were at least three suspected surveillance locations here—one car, a house across the street, and a surveillance cara facing Jesse's house. As for any others, at least none were discovered yet.

However, these findings confird one thing for Jimmy, and that was Jesse was definitely a key character. If judged solely by the intensity of this surveillance—or perhaps protection—the backing gang's power was certainly not trivial. Maintaining surveillance is a challenging and professional task; the FBI's surveillance team mbers have never been nurous, and turnover is quick. Moreover, the length of ti maintaining surveillance isn't very long, as prolonged surveillance can cause serious psychological issues for operatives.

If it were just that surveillance cara, it'd be understandable, as recordings can be reviewed later. However, the monitoring from that car and the house across the street makes it hard to believe Jesse, this young man, is completely unimportant.

Although unconfird, during the two passes just now, the car and soone on the second floor of the house across the street were always by the window, with the curtains drawn. Jimmy had Miguel continue driving in circles to deepen these monitors' impressions, so they might take action.

A few minutes later, Miguel's car ca around again, slowly enough for the observers to match the vehicle model and check the plates, "Miguel, once more."

"Miguel, pick up the pace, leave the area, park the car where there's surveillance and keep an eye on the caras. Oh, and don't return to the DEA building."

Seeing Miguel pass by Jesse's house for the fourth ti, Jimmy instructed him to leave quickly to give those monitoring a false impression. He believed the other side must have noticed Miguel's unusual behavior. Coupled with the fact that he was Latin Arican, such an illusion might prompt them into less rational actions.

Jimmy stood in the shade of a tree, several tens of ters from Jesse's house without hiding, keeping an eye on the house opposite Jesse's as Miguel sped away. His location allowed his Heart Eye Vision to see into the roadside room of that house, where the person sitting by the window now held a phone to their ear, clearly planning to make a move.

To prevent Miguel from being taken out, Jimmy had him leave and instructed him to capture any potential actions with the caras as evidence—which, even if not usable as direct evidence, could allow the DEA to zero in on these people, opening up many future possibilities.

Yet, Jimmy misjudged one thing: the other side had likely noticed Miguel's car, but they were even more interested in Jimmy, who had stood in the shade for quite a while.

Soon, two black street thugs approached his position from opposite directions. Jimmy initially thought they were just passing by, but as one of them brashly bumped into him with his shoulder, another turned and lunged at him. Their movents were practiced, clearly not their first ti.

The confrontation was sudden, but Jimmy reacted quickly, turning slightly to allow his right shoulder to collide firmly with the other's, grabbing the hand attempting to seize his clothing, yanking it down as he bent slightly, then stepped back with his right leg to raise his knee forcefully into the other's midsection, leveling one out with a single move.

The second thug did manage to grab onto Jimmy, but only wrapped his arms around Jimmy's upper body, including his arms, yet failed to guard against Jimmy's head. Jimmy executed a direct headbutt to the thug's forehead and nose, causing the thug's grasp to instantly weaken.

Jimmy yanked his opponent's arm, pulled it upwards forcibly, and tripped him over with a simple maneuver down onto the grassy area beneath the shade.

"FBI, don't move."

Jimmy shouted out, quickly drawing his Glock and training it on the pair, who hadn't expected to be taken down so swiftly, leaving them with no chance to retaliate.
