Roland didn't wait for long; after a few hours, he heard faint noises coming from inside the house. Considering the secret door was originally in the storage room, the fact that he could still hear faint noises after multiple barriers was a testant to his exceptional hearing.
However, he wasn't sure exactly who was inside the house, so he didn't knock imdiately but waited a little longer.
After a while, when he was certain there was only one person in the house, he took out his revolver and knocked on the secret door above with the gun handle, creating so noise.
Nia was already heavily pregnant and could not move comfortably, but she hadn't confined herself completely indoors. Nia confird the sound was coming from the basent, soone was knocking on the secret door. She didn't move the box to open the door but stepped back two steps to the outside of the storage room, took out her phone, and dialed Jimmy's number: "Jimmy, are you convenient to talk?"

"It seems soone is knocking on the basent door, just now."
Jimmy paused for a mont, "You said the basent? Hold on, absolutely don't open the door, leave the house now, I'll be back imdiately."
Nia: "Okay, I'll go to the church and wait for you."
Nia had previously checked the basent with Jimmy, making sure there was absolutely no one or any other living thing inside. After putting away her gun, Nia went to stand outside the church, watching her house from a distance.

Jimmy took Nia's phone and put it in his pocket, lightly patting Nia, then left the church and headed towards his house.
Movents in the basent are definitely from the portal, most likely Roland has returned, although there's a slight possibility it's sothing else, so Jimmy didn't relax his vigilance, activating Heart Eye Vision as he approached the house to observe the room and the basent.
When he saw soone sitting on the stairs in the basent, he understood it must be Roland who had returned from the other side. Had it been sothing else, it should have been causing havoc in the basent by now.
