Many people can find out which hotel Jimmy is staying at, after all, this is Los Angeles, where wealthy people abound, and those with connections are certainly not few. He doesn't care at all, but what's inside this storage box is intriguing.

He's completely unsure who created this storage box. If it was Mrs. Harriton, it shouldn't have been this troubleso. After all, he visited once in person, and his attitude at the ti could definitely beco a topic of discussion at the front desk for a while. Mrs. Harriton didn't need to do sothing so secretive, she could just hand over the docunts when he visits again.

Checking the ti, Jimmy decided to rest first and wait until the next day to open the storage box and see its contents. After all, acting at night in such a unfamiliar place like Los Angeles is relatively risky.

Mark had returned to New York, not fully recovered yet, but for now, he's well enough to temporarily leave the hospital. When Jimmy borrowed a car from the Los Angeles office, their expressions were sowhat off, causing him so embarrassnt. Mark had put the car into the repair shop after only a few days of use, and now Jimmy was here to borrow again, totally treating them like a rental car company.

Finding the location of the storage box wasn't difficult, but Jimmy still looked around, and didn't seem to notice anyone watching him. He took out the key and opened the storage box, it was empty, holding only two pieces of paper.

Picking them up for a glance, Jimmy folded them directly, put them in his pocket, and left.

Arriving at the Harriton Foundation, the receptionist clearly rembered Jimmy. Before he even spoke, she stood up and turned around, heading into the office, leaving Jimmy at the entrance.

Jimmy blinked, looking at the receptionist's departing back, sowhat confused, wondering what's going on?

After a while, she returned to the front desk, saying to Jimmy: "Please follow ." She turned and walked away, as if uttering a few more words to Jimmy would cause trouble.

As he walked inside, Jimmy scanned around, pondering what's up with this strange atmosphere?

Entering Mrs. Harriton's office, she was still seated in the boss's chair. She nodded at the receptionist, then rose after she left, taking a stack of files from a drawer nearby and bringing them to Jimmy: "Here's what you asked for."

Jimmy took the files without flipping through them, instead he looked at Mrs. Harriton: "What happened? Things seem a bit off here."

Mrs. Harriton: "You're right, the most terrifying is betrayal from one's own. Agent, I hope you will gain more insights. That's all, goodbye."

After speaking, Mrs. Harriton turned, picked up a handbag from the desk, and left the office. Outside, two n in suits imdiately rose and followed her as she left the company.

Jimmy followed Mrs. Harriton, but instead of joining her and the two n in the elevator, he waited for the adjacent elevator to go down.

Driving away from the building, Jimmy smiled while driving, as if the fun was just starting. The two n beside Mrs. Harriton were unseen during his last visit, aning unless sothing unexpected kept them from being in the office last ti, they were newly arranged to protect Mrs. Harriton, suggesting there indeed were internal issues.

Recalling Mrs. Harriton's words, internal betrayal, threatening her life, if it wasn't family issues internally, then soone within the company's board showed signs of a takeover, quite formidable, giving an impression that Mrs. Harriton appears disadvantaged. Coupled with the receptionist and the office staff's attitude, it seed everyone knew of these takeover signs, their stance toward Mrs. Harriton reflecting this.

Interesting, while Jimmy doesn't know much about business affairs, Peter is the most acquainted with such matters among his acquaintances. However, Peter is now in Washington, D.C, distant help cannot quench imdiate thirst, unless he explains over the phone, though Peter probably doesn't know what happened internally either.

Back in the hotel room, Jimmy took out the two sheets from the storage box, along with the materials provided by Mrs. Harriton, and started perusing.

The docunts from Mrs. Harriton indeed contained major shareholders and their data from the Harriton Foundation, including respective shareholdings. Glancing at these materials, Jimmy suddenly realized Mrs. Harriton's concerns seed quite normal; Mr. Harriton's shares weren't particularly high, the second-largest shareholder only had ten fewer points than him, if allied with other small shareholders, overturning at a shareholders' eting was easy.

But simply overturning at a board eting, theoretically shouldn't pose physical threats to Mrs. Harriton right? A change in company managent shouldn't lead to harming a major shareholder, right?

Continuing to read, there were recent transactions of two bank accounts, showing several hundred thousand US Dollars in movent, although for wealthy individuals this should remain relatively normal right?

This kind of information organizing and analyzing frankly wasn't Jimmy's expertise. Perhaps a professional could decipher issues from these transactions, but Jimmy was clear that this financial movent wasn't for hiring soone to commit murder...

Thinking about it, Jimmy surely couldn't handle the ensuing matter alone, better to seek advice. He picked up his phone to call Peter: "Hi, Peter, are you working?"
