In order to save this world, they have been searching everywhere for the cause of the energy imbalance. However, they are not rlin and cannot ascertain the cause of this energy imbalance. The only thing they can do is travel the world, attempting to find possible solutions.

The decline of the Dark Tower World is inevitable. What they are doing is rely trying to slow down this process and delay the ti of decline, yet even then, they have not given up.

Fortunately, although they have not found a solution, it is obvious that recent years' geological anomalies have improved significantly. They speculate that perhaps this world's self-repair chanism has not been completely destroyed and is gradually adjusting back.

These speculations are rely the conjectures of the mages present, with no evidence to prove them, nor any related theory that can convince everyone. Their subsequent investigative actions have therefore not ceased.

Roland is not a talkative person, but the exchange with the mages made him quite surprised, so he asked many questions until they parted, and the mages continued their exploration.

This world's changes reminded him of the dark-clad man from before. At that ti, he collected many rlin's rainbows, but after killing the dark-clad mage, Roland did not go looking for those rlin's rainbows until he returned to this world, found one rainbow and two guns, and gave them to Jimmy.

The rlin Rainbow Crystal Balls they used were not complete rlin's rainbows, just aggregates of primordial energy. After all, rlin's Thirteen Rainbows represent the magical foundation of this world. It's impossible for all energy to be concentrated in one ball. However, if the gathered energy was taken out of this world, wouldn't the total energy decrease, and with the reduction in a particular kind of energy leading to the "barrel theory" of energy imbalance, the world undergo so changes?

He gave Jimmy a Black Rainbow, so have the other rainbows also been sent to other worlds?

Moreover, he himself once used a rlin's rainbow, and after leaving this world for decades, he always stayed on Earth, having only returned to this world a couple of years ago, aligning with what the mages said about the recent decrease in geological activity. This coincidence made him further suspect: Could it really be because of him that this energy imbalance occurred? Is it due to his personal whims that this world is hastening toward decline?

Roland sat beside a boulder, took a bottle of liquor from his bag, and had a sip. In this world, liquor is a precious thing because population disturbances have made grain production increasingly unstable, which, in turn, reduced the amount of liquor these rangers love, with the taste worsening.

Roland thought for a long ti and decided to find the door to Earth to try and contact Jimmy again. Regardless of whether this is the reason, he'd have to bring him back here to see if there is any effect.

That leads to the earlier part where Roland contacted Jimmy upon arriving on Earth. However, with only a phone number, after failing to get in touch, Roland had no choice but to return to the Dark Tower World, where too many monsters needed handling. As the last gunman, he couldn't just abandon this world, having to wait for another opportunity to contact Jimmy later.

-----------------

Justin was indeed slow this ti, but he did achieve results. Two weeks after the assignnt given by Jimmy, Justin finally called him to arrange a eting.

Jimmy: "You're in New York?"

Justin: "Yeah, just arrived this noon."

Jimmy: "Co to my bar; it's quieter there."

Even though it was work hours, Jimmy still chose to skip, since no one was looking for him anyway.

It wasn't business hours yet when Jimmy used his key to open the door. He went to the bar, just taking out so liquor and glasses when Justin pushed open the door and ca in.

Justin: "Though it was a bit of a hassle, I've managed it."

Jimmy: "Co over and have a drink first. You've had a hard ti."

Justin glanced at the liquor Jimmy had taken out, stopping him from pouring, "Let do it."

He stepped behind the bar, letting Jimmy go out, looking at the liquor arranged above, opening the cabinet below until he found two bottles to start mixing drinks.

This was a relaxed interaction between acquaintances and after all, this bar was initially suggested by Justin, and him knowing Jimmy was the owner, he didn't mind. Naturally, the liquor he chose to drink was of better quality.

Justin, mixing drinks, said: "I don't know exactly what you're thinking. Most islands on that side of the Caribbean are private islands. The people there are either rich or powerful. Whatever you plan to do, you need to thoroughly consider the consequences."

Jimmy didn't respond until Justin finished making two glasses of drinks. They clinked glasses and took a sip before Jimmy said, "I've thought it over; so things are better left unknown, but they've gone too far with so matters. At the very least, people must be humane."

Justin placed his glass on the bar: "You're acquainted with the underworld. If everyone operates like you intend, it will be even more chaotic, and have you considered the ramifications if information leaks…"

Jimmy: "That's why I need you to design a completely covert route for , avoiding contact with other people, and bypassing surveillance equipnt, etc."

Justin: "It's difficult, but I've sorted it…you'll need to disguise yourself, board a cargo ship from Miami, hide in the hold, and once you reach the open sea, there's a seaplane. It will take you to the Dominican. There, after refueling, it will return, but it will bypass the Virgin Islands, allowing you to parachute down."

Jimmy: "Is the pilot reliable?"

Justin: "Yes, he operates routes between the United States and Central and South Arica, though his business isn't specifically for transporting people."

Jimmy raised an eyebrow, wasn't this just a mule? Is such a person easy to get in touch with? "Such a person… doesn't seem reliable?"

Justin: "There isn't a better option currently; if you can endure for about 2 to 3 days, you'll probably reach the Dominican, where finding a plane is a makeshift option."

Jimmy considered before shaking his head, "No, I don't have that much ti. Also, you only ntioned the journey there; what about the return trip?"

Justin: "You'll take a private plane from Puerto Rico to fly directly back to the mainland. After landing at a small airport, you can return to New York with your identity."

Jimmy, with drink in hand, was contemplating this plan.

Parachuting wasn't much of an issue; he'd had specialized training over in Quantico, though he'd done it infrequently, lacking much experience. However, as an ergency plan, rely jumping down should suffice, and it wasn't like he was doing wing-suit flying with bat wings, which would be far too difficult.

However, the return trip was a big issue; getting from the islands to Puerto Rico required a boat, sailing at night, which he hadn't done, leaving him with little confidence over the vast sea.

Jimmy: "No, you still need to plan a return route."

Justin: "I'm not familiar with that area; I'll have to find soone else to arrange a boat for you, but I can't guarantee…"

Jimmy thought it over: "Let's see, but we need to ensure the entire way is seamless."

Justin sighed, downing the rest of his drink in one: "Seems like you're truly determined to do it then, fine, I'll ask around, but…it might require so extra money."

Jimmy: "Isn't that box enough?"

Justin sniffed, "It might not be, but I'll check again."

The topic ended there, with Justin pouring another drink, but Jimmy refrained, drinking too much wasn't safe for driving. Since Justin couldn't leave today either, Jimmy called Woody, leaving Justin at the bar. What sparks the two bartenders might generate was none of his concern.

Back in the office, Jimmy went out to find a large map, marking the nodes Justin ntioned, carefully considering and evaluating the feasibility of the plan.
