Jimmy glanced at the number, nodded to the agent, and put the phone away. It was Ruiz's unregistered phone, suggesting there was so information he wanted to pass on, but it wasn't official yet.

But now wasn't the ti to take a call. There were too many things to handle today, he might not get a mont alone. Contacting Ruiz with others around wasn't a good idea; it could raise attention, potentially leading to trouble.

The FBI building was brightly lit, almost all the agents on duty were pulled in to verify the identities of the people involved. Even those who were off-duty were called back to help. They had caught not just gang mbers, but also several gamblers and patrons. Clarifying the identities of such a diverse group wasn't easy, and there was a lot of pressure.

A few injured individuals were in the hospital, where the FBI also requested police assistance to guard them. They had only arranged for two agents on-site to coordinate, clearly feeling short-handed and a bit stretched thin.

Jimmy hadn't killed many; aside from one unlucky guy who got shot twice and died on the spot, and two people in the room Jimmy had targeted, all others were alive when Jimmy withdrew upstairs. Whether SWAT's delay upon storming the building to rescue Jimmy resulted in anyone bleeding to death was unknown.

Jimmy and Steven were also busy, though not with interrogation, but rather being questioned themselves. DEA personnel were questioning Steven, while Jimmy was being docunted by FBI, with Hope, who hadn't participated in the reconnaissance, sitting opposite as an observer.

The entire process was straightforward. No issues were apparent from the bar and casino below. Jimmy and Steven decided to investigate further inside the club, and during the investigation, they were discovered, leading to a gunfight. They both erged unscathed, and the entire process seed to have no major issues.

Reviewing the video footage would take so ti, after which Jimmy and Steven's statents would be cross-referenced with the surveillance videos by designated personnel.

Once these procedures were mostly completed, Jimmy finally got a bit of downti. Returning to the hotel wasn't an option. Instead, he went downstairs to find a quiet spot, lit a cigarette, and regardless of what hour it was, called Ruiz directly.

Ruiz hesitated for a bit before picking up. Jimmy could hear the sound of running water through the receiver; apparently, he was in the bathroom again.

Jimmy: "What happened?"

Ruiz: "What's going on with you? Why are you calling back so late?"

Jimmy: "Had a case, just finished questioning. Tell about your side."

Ruiz: "There's news; he's still alive, but he was moved. Likely heading to xico."

Jimmy: "Any concrete information? Why was he taken?"

Ruiz: "Can't divulge details over the phone. Where are you?"

Jimmy: "Albuquerque, New xico, at the office here."

Ruiz: "Okay, let arrange sothing."

Jimmy: "Alright, I'll wait for your update."

This matter is troubleso; the relationship between Seventeen and Ruiz isn't simple. They couldn't just be training cohorts. Otherwise, Ruiz wouldn't care so much about Seventeen's life and death.

Jimmy hung up, finished his cigarette, and headed back to the office; there was more work to be done.
