Hope went out to make a call, and Jimmy continued to comfort the girl, finally calming her down and convincing her that he was there to protect her and get her out, which made her relax a bit and say her na.

Jimmy patiently comforted the girl, waiting for the forensics team to get the keys from the scumbag Mark, otherwise, they would have to consider using force to remove it.

Soon, a forensic agent returned, carrying his own case, "Agent Yang, I need to take so photos of her and the scene. Can you move aside for a bit?"

Jimmy gestured to him and softly comforted the girl, then stood up. Seeing the girl clinging to the corner of the wall again, Jimmy quickly said, "I'm right here, don't be scared, we're just taking so photos. Let's start."

The cri scene must be photographed as evidence, Jimmy knew this well, but seeing the actual situation here for the first ti, despite being ntally prepared, he was still shocked by the scene.

The girl curled up in the corner, beneath her was her bed, next to her a toilet, in the corner a small table or rather a small stool with so clutter on it; this was a prison, a genuine prison.

Seeing all this unfold before his eyes, he couldn't help but abandon professional ethics of preserving the scene, coming to the girl's side to comfort her and calm her down.

Soon, another forensic personnel ca down, with Agent Hope behind him, "The call's made, they'll be back soon."

Jimmy: "Hope, go up and keep an eye on Mark, don't let him get away."

Hope was startled and imdiately ran out; only the two agents were there, and both going to the basent ant leaving Mark alone in the car, a grave mistake if he truly escaped.

Hope ca to the door, saw through the car window that Mark's upper body was already over the central armrest of the front seat. He quickly drew his gun, running toward the car and shouting, "Don't move, I'll shoot, Mark, stop."

Mark was almost on the driver's seat, almost succeeded, but was interrupted by Hope. He didn't wait for Hope, speeding up his climb to the driver's seat.

"Bang bang" — Hope didn't wait; the FBI car was specially modified, the rear door switch wasn't inside the door, so Mark had to climb to the front to open the driver's door and escape.

With the sound of Hope's gun, Mark finally stopped. He raised his hands in surrender, as Hope pointed a gun at him, opened the car door to let him out, made him lie down, then stepped forward to check again, moving his handcuffs from front to back.

When previously arrested, the handcuffs were on his back, but when putting him in the car, Hope casually adjusted them to the front, a normal practice as handcuffs on the back often lead to injuries during transport. However, Hope made a big mistake earlier, leaving no guard; with hands cuffed in front, escape is easier, even capable of stealing a police car, which has happened before.

Having ensured security again, Hope belted Mark in, standing outside the car watching him, no longer leaving him alone.

If not for Jimmy's reminder, Hope could have been in serious trouble, not just missing out on case credits, such a mistake could affect his promotion, used against him at a critical ti, leading to severe consequences.

Hope glanced at Mark's house; Jimmy should still be downstairs calming that girl, right?

Jimmy was also a senior agent, a senior agent in the division. Normally, Hope, as a headquarters senior agent, didn't feel the difference, but during cases like this, the gap was clear. Had he spent too long at the headquarters?

Jimmy could juggle attending to others and the case while keeping Hope watchful over a suspect, yet Hope, just making a phone call, forgot part of his duties, almost causing a disaster.

Hope watched Mark in the car, lost in thought, unaware that Jimmy simply observed Mark's movent through Heart Eye Vision, prompting Hope's intervention.

Mark had initially watched his surroundings for observers, offering Hope the opportunity to run from the basent. Had he decisively recognized the empty surroundings and imdiately moved to the front to escape, he might have already left the car when Hope erged.

The ambulance soon arrived, accompanied closely by the support agents' car, allowing Jimmy to finally hand the girl over to the paradics, instructing them for a full-body examination and organ checks at the hospital before leaving Mark's house, lighting a cigarette on the roadside, staring at Hope's Suburban.

Hope ca beside Jimmy, candidly admitting Mark's almost escape, thanking Jimmy for the reminder, with Jimmy rely nodding without speaking.

Once finishing the cigarette, Jimmy tossed the butt to the ground, stomped it out, and said, "Let's go, inform the others to take over the investigation here, we're heading back to the office first."

Hope nodded, driving away with Jimmy sitting dazed in the passenger seat, until a few blocks away, Jimmy suddenly said, "Find a quiet place."

Hope glanced at the rearview mirror, "Any requirents?"

Jimmy: "Quieter, with fewer people."
