Jimmy watched as Roy and the others carried their fallen brother over with somber expressions, placing him on the ground and slowly removing his gear piece by piece, already knowing the outco.

The grenade exploded right next to him, and even if the shrapnel hadn't hit any vital parts, the shockwave alone from the explosion was lethal enough.

He didn't reach out to check the pulse; instead, he put down the bottle in his hand, placed both hands lightly on his lower abdon, and slightly bowed his head in silence for his fallen brother.

Roy and the others didn't stay long by this brother's side, as there were two other wounded brothers brought there now for ergency blood-stopping treatnt.

They had already contacted helicopters; now two helicopters had begun scouting for possible landing spots. These two wounded SRT mbers also urgently needed to be sent back for treatnt to prevent excessive blood loss.

Jimmy approached the three deceased, inspecting each of them, finally identifying Heidel, who was the last to be killed and also in the worst condition. If it hadn't been for Jimmy recognizing his appearance, it would have been very difficult to confirm.

Now this is a bit troubleso, their target deceased, DHS might shift the bla later. The fugitive was shot dead by the FBI, which doesn't look good for them, but there's no choice. DHS's special squad would still take ti to arrive from headquarters, while their encircling agents kept getting injured, with fatalities even occurring. If they don't quickly gather so strong personnel, there might be more significant casualties.

Now the first two suspects were killed by Jimmy, and the latter three were killed by the FBI SRT team plus Jimmy. The FBI even had one SRT mber sacrifice his life; if DHS doesn't give an explanation, they'll have bigger troubles later on.

Jimmy walked a short distance away from Roy to give them so ti to calm down, with the two wounded n also gathered around the bodies of their brothers, looking very upset.

Quickly, a helicopter found a patch of grass nearby; they needed to first check whether the ground could support a helicopter landing. If it was swamp terrain, it wouldn't work, so Roy dispatched two people to check the ground.

The clearing wasn't far, only a few hundred ters away. The two soon confird the ground was fine and notified Roy and the helicopter personnel via radio. Jimmy assisted them in moving the wounded and the SRT mber's body over. Due to transport limitations, not everyone could leave this ti. Roy could only ask Jimmy to wait a bit longer. The second helicopter went out on patrol and would return later to pick up Jimmy and the remaining bodies.

It's pitiful; six living mbers ca, and half were either injured or worse by the ti they returned. Not sure how Roy would explain this back at the base. Jimmy watched the helicopter taking off from the ground, waved goodbye, and turned back into the woods. For safety, the woods felt more secure; as long as Jimmy was careful, those far away couldn't hit him, he could detect those close by, and it was the sa for wild animals.

Soon, the helicopter carrying Mahong returned. From afar, they radioed Jimmy: "Jimmy, we're almost there, please send the coordinates. We'll take the suspects back first."

Jimmy reported his location, and after a while, Mahong arrived with three agents, first looking Jimmy over front and back to ensure there were no issues before nodding approvingly: "Good to see you're okay, thank you for your hard work."

Jimmy: "I'm fine, but on the SRT side, one dead and two injured. It's quite the heavy loss."

Mahong nodded: "I've already been inford; they've been sent to the hospital, should be okay. Where are the bodies?"

Jimmy pointed off to the side. The three accompanying individuals went over, checked, nodded at Mahong, then began gathering the gear from the three bodies. They brought two large bags with them, which they opened to pull out body bags and several bags for collecting the bodies' gear and personal items. These were the main reasons for their preparation this ti around.

Jimmy, watching the three busy at work, nodded his chin: "DHS?"

Mahong nodded: "The case is ultimately theirs to handle."

Jimmy: "What about the earlier two bodies?"

Mahong: "We'll head to them once we finish here; the nearby helicopter-accessible area is a bit too far, which is troubleso. By the way, we'll need to wait here a bit; the local light helicopter that brought couldn't carry everyone."

Jimmy: "Alright, by the way, where's my car?"

Mahong: "Arranged for soone to drive it back; DHS has suffered quite a loss this ti, so when we return be mindful not to provoke them."

Jimmy: "Yeah, don't worry, I won't. They're in no position to bother with us right now. Just handling these few people is enough to keep them busy. Not to ntion, these rcenaries aren't small players. Their operational capability is very strong, and their shooting skills are top-notch. Although it's unknown which military they served in, they've got plenty of combat experience. Upon hearing the helicopters, they imdiately set traps here and ambushed us. Their decisiveness is truly strong.

I really don't think there would be just these few. Their operational direction was very clear and likely had soone supporting them, though it's unclear whether it's within the country or at the US-Canada Border."

Mahong glanced at the busy agents and whispered: "Don't overthink it. The case is theirs. Our part is done, the escapees were shot on the spot, and we took down the four who assisted him. That's credit enough, the rest doesn't concern us. You wouldn't want to involve yourself in inter-agency conflicts, would you?"
