Shaking hands with Neil to confirm the ti, Jimmy reminded him about participating in the best man suit fitting, and Neil nodded naturally, telling Jimmy to notify him at any ti. Jimmy and Neil talked so more about Peter, as Neil and Peter often kept in touch via phone; their relationship was certainly much better than with Mahong. Jimmy also prepared an invitation for Peter, but this one could just be sent by courier.

After finishing the beer, Jimmy stood up to say goodbye, glancing at the cloakroom; inside, the two people were already sitting on the floor. It seed their chatting ti had run a bit long.

Leaving Neil's room, Jimmy walked down the stairs, and after seeing the door close behind him, Neil quickly headed to the cloakroom. Jimmy returned but this ti stayed at the door without knocking.

"Co out, he's gone."

The sound through the door wasn't particularly clear, but Jimmy's enhanced senses, including his hearing, allowed him to barely make out what they were saying.

"The uniform left? What did he co here for?" The man's voice, likely the one nad Mosquito.

Neil's voice sounded, "You all heard it. He invited to be the best man, that's all. Okay, let's continue, Linda."

The woman's voice, likely Linda's, "Okay, I've pinpointed the painting's location in the vault. Now, the most important thing is, Neil, you need to prepare a fake painting to delay them from discovering that the original is missing. By the ti they find out the painting has been swapped, it'll be at least a month later, and by then, we'll have left New York."

Jimmy didn't listen any further; just these few sentences were enough. Neil had been cooperating with the FBI for years, yet he still hadn't changed his old habits.

Frowning, Jimmy quietly walked down the stairs, thanked the maid, and reached the roadside. He had co by taxi today, so naturally, he needed a taxi to go back. But having just confird a best man, was he just going to watch as there was the possibility he might be caught before the wedding? It's important to know that art cris are sothing Mahong's side should handle; surely, what they are discussing is not legal. When the case breaks out, it won't just be one or two people in trouble.

Jimmy looked around but didn't see a taxi. He lit a cigarette and walked along the roadside to the main road, where it was easier to catch a ride. After so thought, he took out his phone and dialed Neil's number. Neil picked up quickly: "Yang, did you forget to ntion sothing?"

Jimmy: "Yeah, just one thing, but have the people around you step away first."

Neil didn't respond imdiately, seemingly stuck, and after a few seconds, said, "Go ahead."

Jimmy: "You have only a few months left to remove your electronic ankle monitor, rember? I don't want the best man I choose to end up in prison... or the hospital morgue during my wedding."

Neil: "What do you know?"

Jimmy: "The people in your room, you can drink, chat, and have fun, but don't plan any actions. Neil, don't make yourself one of my targets. If you're wanted, the chances of surviving at my hands are slim. You don't want to attend Mosquito's funeral, do you?"

Neil was silent again, this ti for a dozen seconds before he spoke: "Got it, thanks, Yang."

Jimmy: "You're welco, then. I'll wait for your news."

Finishing the call, Jimmy waved down a taxi passing by, luckily right after hanging up.

Neil looked at Mosquito and Linda in front of him, his expression grim, "We have a problem."

Mosquito: "Who?"

Neil: "Jimmy Yang, the person who just ca; he's onto you."

Mosquito asked in horror, "That Chinese agent? He knows?"

Neil nodded, and Mosquito imdiately stood up, "Ah, I suddenly rembered I have sothing to do at ho. I'm leaving. Goodbye, Neil."

Linda looked at Neil and Mosquito puzzledly, quickly stopping Mosquito and reaching out to grab him: "Wait, wait! What exactly happened? Who is he?"

Mosquito: "Soone we cannot afford to provoke. Okay, just pretend I was never here. I'm leaving."

Neil nodded, "Let's drop this matter here."

Linda: "Wait a minute, can soone tell who exactly is Jimmy Yang?"

Mosquito: "He's soone we can't afford to provoke, an FBI Senior Agent, leader of the Homicide Team. I think you might know his nickna, the Manhattan War God, the Butcher, a madman who killed dozens and yet wasn't fired from the FBI."

Neil: "There are so things you don't know. In most of the cases he's handled, the majority don't end up in prison; they're killed on the spot by him. School shooting, Brooklyn and Queens Park terror attacks, bombings - he's solved them all with not a single survivor. Linda, it's normal if you haven't heard of him, but I can't be involved in this matter anymore. I'm not worried for myself, but..."

He turned to look at Mosquito, "Mosquito, Yang just said he knows you're here. He said he doesn't want attending your funeral."

Mosquito stood up, "Oh, no! I'm going ho, just pretend I was never here."

This ti Linda didn't reach to stop Mosquito. She was still reflecting on what Neil had said. Neil had been advising the FBI for years, and what he said must be true. But why would soone like that appear here?

Mosquito left Neil's room, ending their discussion for the night entirely unexpectedly. What remained was no longer his concern.
