Everything was arranged, the ambulance was on its way, and Jimmy watched them handle everything smoothly before he started the car and left.

Jimmy turned on the hidden police lights and sirens, called Mahong to ask for their location, and sped up all the way there.

The surveillance car behind was always chasing, and the SUV in front didn't stop, roaming randomly around the city, but it kept slowly heading towards the Bronx, now almost reaching Flushing.

It's important to note the locations of New York's districts, most of which are on the island, only the Bronx District is a peninsula. If you want to leave New York from downtown without going through specific tunnels, the best route is through the Bronx straight northeast. Usually, once you leave the Bronx District, it's much easier to proceed through the complex roads of Yankos City and disappear quickly.

However, now it seems the car in front isn't moving fast. Although it's partly due to the busy traffic, it seems they might not have intended to leave New York.

Now several NYPD patrol officers are assisting Mahong in the car chase. However, according to NYPD rules, they won't execute a PIT maneuver on a suspect's car in the city center, so they're just following. Mahong contacted the NYPD dispatch center, ensuring their surveillance car wasn't mistaken for a suspect.

Jimmy, driving with the police lights and sirens on, was still moving fast. Many cars in front gave way to him, and finally, half an hour later, he caught up with them. By now, they had entered the Bronx District, heading towards Yankos City.

The FBI doesn't have as many rules, and Jimmy overtook all the way, eventually reaching the front. At the nearest intersection, as the other party turned, he ramd them from behind.

The modified Suburban was indeed powerful. The bull bars Tim Dunn added for Jimmy worked perfectly. With just one hit, they successfully made the SUV in front skid. Jimmy's car then pushed against the SUV, stopping it at the intersection.

Several police cars' sirens blared chaotically. Jimmy had already opened the door, aiming his gun at the SUV. Hiding behind the door, he shouted loudly: "Driver, put your hands on the steering wheel."

This Suburban was also modified, with a bullet-proof driving door. In such a public setting, although Jimmy knew there was only one driver in that car, he didn't rush over to smash the window and drag the person out. Instead, he followed the normal procedure for a stop.

The police beside him also aid their guns. The street traffic was temporarily blocked.

Finally, the driver couldn't withstand the pressure, raised his hands, and placed them on the steering wheel. Jimmy and Mahong approached the driver's seat, opened the door, and captured the driver.

The suspect's SUV would be towed back to the FBI parking lot. In this matter, NYPD only assisted and wouldn't take over the case.

After thanking the NYPD for their assistance, Jimmy and Mahong drove back to the FBI office. The remaining interrogation was Mahong's business, and Jimmy wouldn't participate. However, Mark did not return together; instead, he continued assisting Mahong, so he could receive the interrogation results in ti, depending on when Mark notified him.

This ti, none of the kidnappers and lookout suffered fatal injuries. Three of the kidnappers lost a lot of blood, but with tily treatnt, they could be interrogated right after waking up from surgery.

The first to speak was the lookout. He was taken directly back to the FBI office. When Mahong and Mark approached him after getting out of the car, he saw them wearing FBI bullet-proof vests, which was why he shot and ran.

His identity was confird, a security guard retired for over a decade. According to his account, he was recruited by an interdiary for so extra cash and wasn't the mastermind of the kidnapping plan. In the actual mission, he only acted as a lookout and ensured an escape route.

In reality, Mahong and Mark confird he indeed didn't participate in the kidnapping. At most, he was an accomplice, which was troubleso. They could only leave it for now, interrogating others to see the situation.

As a professional in interrogation, Mahong dealt with many vicious cases before. For this case involving the capture of all mbers, obtaining testimonies wasn't difficult.

With Falcknei's identification, the person Jimmy shot injuring both arms on the SUV's left side was soone he'd contacted before, giving Mahong a direct target. Though they couldn't do much in the hospital, Mahong resolved it in over a day.

With these people's complete photos and fingerprint information, even if they said nothing, it was easy to fetch their details through the customs system. Among them, only two entered the country through customs, and their identities were fake. The other driver was a local, recruited like the one caught in the FBI office.

With customs information, further interrogation beca easier. The auction house robbery case details were already obtained. The one identified by Falcknei was part of the robbery group, Demon Wolf rcenary Corps' combat personnel and intelligence officer Max Haidler, a German. The other who entered under a false identity was their rcenary corps' Damian Pieve from Holland.

The Demon Wolf rcenary Corps was a dium-sized unit with dozens of mbers. Such strength allowed them to undertake combat missions for so countries, thus active in the Middle East in recent years.

This ti, their agent received a task from a rcenary broker in France to retrieve two specified artworks in the United States.

These two artworks were stolen by a gang from a manor and sent to the U.S. from Europe. The auction house was to auction them. The manor owner learned about them being in the auction through certain channels and issued a task through interdiaries.

Though the Demon Wolf didn't lack tasks, their main tasks were usually in Middle Eastern battlefields, the remuneration wasn't much. They certainly welcod quick-money missions, and the task demanded two artworks. Any extra gains were theirs to keep.

So, Demon Wolf rcenary Corps' leader Victor Sterling, after accepting the task, imdiately divided the mbers into two groups. One continued with Middle Eastern missions with reduced intensity due to fewer personnel, but the ti's short. The other group, with disguised identities, entered the U.S. through different channels, gathering in New York.

As the intelligence officer, Haidler was arranged to arrive in New York first. Naturally, he could establish connections, find people in the underworld for a background check on the auction house they were targeting. The auction house didn't store all items in its warehouse. Many were kept in bank safety deposit boxes.

As a rcenary corps skilled in combat, robbing bank boxes wasn't their expertise. So, after obtaining detailed intelligence, the New York team devised a robbery plan, opting not to rob bank boxes early. Instead, they replaced the auction house security with their personnel, planning a heist when artworks were gathered before the auction.

Since they ca from Europe as retired military from various countries, though entering the U.S. with fake identities, avoiding exposure was preferable. Hence, after completing arrangents, they planned to silence both a security guard and the security company's manager.

The security company manager, Oliver Morgan, wasn't a quiet person. Besides a security manager's job, he had his na with so interdiaries, doing side jobs when needed for extra cash. A good job could feed a family, but a better life required more.

Initially, just assigning a security guard wasn't an issue. But when he noticed sothing off about the group, he beca cautious, mainly because these rcenaries were very different from ordinary people. Their inadvertent display of ferocity alard him, unsure of their intentions.

After so thought, he contacted a known fake ID seller, prepared a passport, planning to take his family away for a while. He'd already requested leave from the security company manager, with everything arranged. Unfortunately, unaware of the rcenaries' ans, they tracked him to avoid information leaks, successfully found the fake ID seller, and killed him and his family when he went to pick up the passport.
