Jimmy played around for a while, then put the gun on the table, took off the headset, and greeted the people around him for a break, while others were already lining up for his revolver.

The shooting range didn't lack bullets, and Jimmy's gun couldn't keep shooting continuously; it needed to cool down, so the two revolvers were used in turns by the people there.

It's just that the 1875 model looks different from modern revolvers, and the recoil of the Magnum is very strong, so they couldn't shoot many rounds before giving up.

Jimmy practiced for a while longer, then packed up and left, having already greeted the people at the range. He planned to co back for more practice. Jimmy realized he had missed sothing, though—he hadn't seen Mark and Julia's shooting skills, only reviewed their files. He thought it'd be a good opportunity to bring them over to try it out.

On Friday evening, Jimmy, by invitation, went to Mr. Green's apartnt again. This ti, unlike the previous visit, the whole family of Alex Green invited Jimmy for dinner to express their gratitude. Elliot sat next to Jimmy during the al.

While eating, they chatted about so things concerning the city governnt and asked for any public information Jimmy could share, just to keep the conversation going.

After dinner, Alex took Elliot and Jimmy to his study.

Elliot seed much more relaxed than during dinner. Once inside the study, he asked Jimmy if he could see his gun. Jimmy raised his eyebrows and didn't agree directly but looked at Alex, "Alex?"

Alex nodded, "This ti, we invited you over to discuss this matter, don't worry."

Jimmy drew out the Glock, removed the magazine, pulled the slide to extract the chambered bullet, and then handed the empty gun to Elliot.

Alex said, "You know, I've never let Elliot handle guns before. I wanted to wait until he graduated high school to decide whether to let him practice shooting, but now everything is different."

Alex looked at the excited Elliot and ran his hand through his hair, "Recently, I took him to the shooting range in New Jersey a few tis. He's very enthusiastic, but he's never trusted those instructors. Every ti, he just fired a few rounds for experience."

"I've talked to Elliot, and he still wishes to learn shooting techniques, but he made one request—he wants you to teach him how to use a gun because he trusts you."

As expected, Jimmy didn't want to have a small tail following him. He smiled and shook his head slightly, "Sorry, Alex, you know I'm with the FBI. We have a lot of cases, and I really don't have ti to teach him how to use a gun right now."

Alex said, "I know, I know. Please don't refuse right away. I've talked with Elliot; we really won't take up too much of your ti. Only need to take him once a week, and I'll compensate you satisfactorily."

It seed Alex didn't investigate Jimmy in detail. He's not the kind of person needing a side job to supplent household expenses. Being with the FBI was purely out of passion and professional habit.

Jimmy continued to shake his head. Alex frowned and then looked at Elliot, "Elliot, go wait outside for a mont."

Elliot reached out and handed the gun back to Jimmy, but didn't leave. Instead, he leaned against Jimmy, looking at Alex. This action showed an obvious inclination to avoid, suggesting so issues between the father and son.

Elliot was relatively young, but even he could see that Jimmy didn't want to teach him. The thing his father Alex promised was not accomplished, and the smile on his face disappeared.

Jimmy reached out and patted Elliot, "Elliot, go outside for a bit. I'll talk with Alex."

Elliot turned his head to look at Jimmy, nodded, and left the study. Although the door closed, Jimmy could still see he was standing at the door, not eavesdropping against it.

Alex said, "Jimmy, Kevin and I are old friends. We're not outsiders, so I'll speak frankly.

My friends and I have always been for gun control, which you should be aware of. But for Elliot's sake, I'm willing to take the risk of being discovered if Elliot practices shooting, but I'm very worried about him.

Since the last incident, he's always wanted to see you. After you talked with him last ti, he got a lot better, but recently he's shown signs of introversion again.

I take him to see a psychologist every week, but there are things even a psychologist can't do. Now Elliot is interested in guns, and I can take him to practice, but he still hopes you can teach him. I think maybe he wants to be by your side."

Jimmy: "Alex, is there no effect from the psychological treatnt?"

Alex: "There is, but it's not very obvious. Maybe it's because the ti is short, and it needs longer treatnt. I've communicated with the psychologist, and if we can keep Elliot within a psychologically safe range, it would be more beneficial for his treatnt. Shooting practice is not necessary; I just hope you can spend so ti eting with Elliot, chat with him, and let him relax."

Jimmy frowned at Alex, dazedly considering whether to agree.

Seeing Jimmy frown, Alex thought for a mont and continued, "I know you're about to marry Kevin's daughter, and your profession doesn't allow for accepting paynt. Rest assured, I will talk things over with Kevin, and you won't be disappointed. I just hope that Elliot can be happier."

Jimmy: "I can't give you a decision for the ti being. Give so ti; I'll think about it."

Alex: "Of course, no problem, I understand."

Jimmy nodded, called Elliot in, chatted for a while, and then got up to leave. Elliot had gotten quite a thrill too; besides the Glock, Jimmy also had him try the 1875 after removing the bullets, and Elliot was clearly more interested in Jimmy's handguns.

On the way back to the apartnt, Jimmy called Kevin. It was a normal communication, no information leak or anything, so a phone call was fine.

Kevin was silent on the other end after Jimmy finished describing the eting. Jimmy waited for over ten seconds before Kevin responded, "What are your thoughts?"

Jimmy: "I want to know if he can really be of help to you. For , an assistant to the mayor isn't a big deal. There's no way he can help .

To be honest, I don't feel pressured to help Elliot. It counts as a good deed, being a good person, but if it doesn't benefit us, then there's no need."

Kevin was a bit speechless, Jimmy speaking more directly the more familiar they beca: "You can't think that way. If you have no objections, just give him a hand. Even though their next term might not be guaranteed, they still have a lot of power within the donkey party."

Jimmy: "Alright, then I'll get back to them. By the way, perhaps you could communicate with Alex and see if there's any advantage to be gained."

Kevin: "Okay, I'll handle the communication."

After hanging up, Jimmy returned to his apartnt for rest. But before sleeping, he took out the video to watch several more tis; however many tis he watched it, he thought Roland was truly amazing.

Although the video only demonstrated a bit of reloading and shooting action, when Jimmy broke down Roland's moves, he realized Roland's body control was incredibly strong.

Strength, agility, precise control—under Roland's handling, the recoil of the revolver seed to disappear. When shooting, it seed the muzzle didn't lift much at all, continuously shooting accurately at the target while also observing the dropping magazines and bullet angles, making adjustnts by hand to position the revolver's cylinder, directly catching the magazine into the cylinder in mid-air. This action alone would be daunting for anyone.

Jimmy used the remote to pause and watch all the movents bit by bit, although he still couldn't do it, but he needed to extract all the information as this would be his future training goal.
