Rodney finally had a smile on his face: "Well, I was a bit suspicious before and wasn't sure if he could detect the resentful spirit in that Bronx apartnt just by using his eyes. That kind of ability is really rare."

White: "You ntioned he went through an exorcism ceremony a few years ago?"

Rodney: "Yes, Father Horton at the Dallas Church. I've already confird it with him over the phone. In fact, there's sothing even stranger. Father Horton told that while performing demon extermination on the evil spirit in the river, Jimmy shot and killed the evil spirit with a revolver, and given the tiline, it should be this specific gun."

Father Horton is very certain that the exorcism ceremony he perford on Jimmy at that ti was successful. Since there's nothing wrong with him, his abilities might truly be a gift from the heavens. It's a pity we discovered it too late; he's already in his thirties."

White: "That gun isn't simple; there are traces of residual special forces on it, but it's definitely not the power of a demon. If he indeed used this gun at the ti, then it might be able to kill the evil spirit."

Rodney: "As long as he's not possessed, it's fine. It would be troubleso if we cooperated with them and found out there was a problem on their side. In fact, if there weren't more and more supernatural events happening, we wouldn't be facing a shortage of manpower. Sigh."

White: "No need to worry too much. Our seminaries across the country have already started a new round of screenings. In the near future, we should welco new companions."

Rodney nodded: "Hopefully soon. In the past two years alone, we've already lost several companions. Well, I'm heading back now. Goodbye, Father White."

White nodded in farewell: "Goodbye, Rodney."

Jimmy was smoking beside the car, and when he saw Rodney co out, he walked over, extinguished the cigarette butt, and threw it in the trash can. "Father Rodney, have you finished your conversation?"

Rodney: "Yes, let's go back."

Without a word exchanged, Jimmy drove Rodney back to the church and returned to the apartnt.

Previously, Father White's actions seed to be prayer and similar exorcism ceremonies for this gun. Since they both said it was okay, Jimmy decided to give this gun as a gift to his future father-in-law. Taking advantage of the few days he had left, Jimmy planned to personally make a frawork to put the gun in, so it'd be convenient for Kevin to collect.

Making the frawork is not difficult. A wooden fra, wooden board on the back, a layer of glass in the front, three small supports to hold up the M686, and on the board beneath the fra, carve out small holes for six magnum bullets that would fix the bullets in place.

Once completed, Jimmy placed the gun and the bullets inside and put it on the desk, looked around, and nodded in satisfaction.

This fra uses the original wood color directly without painting, since he's unsure of Kevin's preference; it's better to leave the painting to him.

Christmas was finally approaching. Jimmy and Nia changed clothes, each with a bag, and headed to Nia's house. What Nia gave to her mother should be costics, but Jimmy wasn't familiar with the brand.

Actually, Jimmy has no concept of costics at all. He only knows the brand of costics Nia uses, not the model series. His perfus were all chosen by Nia.

Nia walked in excitedly and called out: "Mom, happy holidays." She happily hugged her mother and then presented the gift, while Jimmy shrugged and directly walked over to the couch and handed the gift to Kevin. "Kevin, happy holidays."

Kevin: "Thank you, what's this?" He said as he took the bag, reached in, and pulled out the wooden fra.

Kevin raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Why would you give a gun?"

Jimmy laughed and said: "This is my first revolver, I'm giving it to you as a nto."

Kevin nodded: "First gun, quite aningful."

Jimmy: "Yes, a few days ago, I found Father White from St. Andrew's Church on Staten Island to perform a blessing ceremony for it."

Kevin reached over, flipped the switch on the backboard, took off the cover and held the revolver, examining it. Nia walked over and sat next to Jimmy: "Dad, do you like it? Jimmy ntioned it's a slaughter gun, oh!"

Kevin glanced at Nia and then turned to Jimmy: "How many?"

Jimmy shrugged: "Dozens, I haven't counted. But don't worry; there'll definitely be no problems."

Kevin opened the bullet chamber to check, then closed it and raised the gun to simulate a few shooting motions at the TV ahead before putting it back in the fra. "I like it a lot, thank you, Jimmy."

Jimmy: "As long as you like it."

This gun Jimmy pretty much wouldn't use anymore. As a collectible, he still needs to do so paperwork to transfer ownership to Kevin, which can be dealt with later, not urgently.

The four sat around the dining table, and because of Jimmy, Kevin and the others unusually perford a pre-dinner prayer. Nia looked at Jimmy while stifling a laugh, and Jimmy could only roll his eyes discreetly when Kevin and the others weren't paying attention.

Christmas Eve dinner was quite sumptuous, reaching an extravagant and wasteful level. The roast turkey looked well-cooked, but the taste was sowhat indescribable. Jimmy cut off a piece and put it on his plate, indeed, the roast turkey was too large. The skin and inner part were flavorful, but the middle part was completely dry and bland chicken at, unsure if it was a workmanship issue or if the dish was just like this.

Jimmy only ate a piece of roast turkey and gave up, starting to focus on another main dish, roast lamb chops.

After dinner, the family sat together chatting, and Jimmy learned that Kevin had postponed a quite important private gathering tonight for this dinner.

For those in politics, holidays aren't that significant; in fact, during these tis, they're more inclined to host various events and gatherings and put themselves more in the spotlight to increase exposure.

Checking the ti, Jimmy and Nia got up to leave. Back at the apartnt, Nia headed to the bedroom to pack her suitcase. Early the next morning, the two of them would be going on a trip. Initially, the whole family planned to go, but Kevin had other arrangents, so only the two of them were going.

Now Jimmy was no longer alone; on Christmas and New Year's Day, their small team of three could take turns on duty, no longer having to work for days alone, which was too exhausting.

Taking advantage of this holiday, Jimmy and Nia boarded a plane early and flew to Miami. As soon as they got off the plane, they felt the warm and humid climate and the lively atmosphere of Miami. The sea breeze blowing carried the scent of the ocean, and Jimmy felt refreshed. Having adapted to the unpleasant slls in New York, it's much better here.

Jimmy and Nia arrived at the reserved hotel. After checking in, Nia went directly to the hotel pool area to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and the coolness of the pool. As for Jimmy, not yet, he needed to complete the car rental procedures, etc.

At dusk, Jimmy and Nia left the hotel, strolled along the beach, admiring the evening ocean. Though New York was by the sea, the difference between New York's beach and Miami's was huge.

Walking barefoot on the white sands, bathing in the waves and sea breeze, it was a rare outing for the two, and naturally, their mood was nice. As they walked, they spoke of past snippets and chatted about future plans.

Bringing his fiancé to Miami, Jimmy also sowhat relinquished many fun activities, looking at the sexy beauties around him, he could only pretend not to see.

On the second day, Jimmy and Nia donned beachwear and arrived at the seaside to relax. Sun, beach, and waves provided imnse comfort. Jimmy undressed and plunged directly into the sea, while Nia opted to rent a beach umbrella on the sand to rest.

Jimmy erged from the water and ca to Nia's side. The two applied sunscreen to each other and leisurely watched the scenery.

Leaving the seaside, they toured around downtown Miami, bought so souvenirs to take back, and by the way visited the Florida Art Museum and Coral Castle. However, neither were art enthusiasts; it was more about enjoying their ti together without any particular goal.
