Mark and Julian returned with so information, "We've made a new discovery. Daniel Brown has been receiving designated psychological therapy for PTSD since he retired. He encountered so issues on the battlefield in Afghanistan and was arranged for discharge, but the reason is unknown."

Jimmy: "Where did he receive psychological therapy?"

Mark: "The VA assigned it. We've already asked them, but got nothing. The therapist and VA staff don't know if Daniel has any close acquaintances. He is sowhat silent and doesn't mingle well."

Jimmy: "Do they have his registered address?"

Mark: "His parents' address, in Queens."

Jimmy: "OK, you both go to the logistics departnt to sign for the equipnt pack, I've already applied for it for you. Then we'll head to Queens."

The three of them carried the equipnt pack to Jimmy's car, as they were about to place the pack in the trunk, Jimmy reminded them, "Take out the Bullet-Proof Vest and put it in the car, we will put it on when we reach our destination."

Julia looked at Jimmy in surprise: "Is it necessary to do this?"

Jimmy: "We're looking for a soldier who just retired not long ago. Even if he only has a handgun, he is still extrely dangerous. Just do as I say."

Jimmy got in the car, waited for the two to settle in, and then drove away from Federal Square.

Julia and Mark put on Bullet-Proof Vests in the car, "What about you, Jimmy? Why aren't you putting on a Bullet-Proof Vest?"

Jimmy: "I don't need it. You'll be the main players in this investigation."

Julia turned to glance at Mark, Mark shrugged. Joining the Homicide Team would naturally an understanding their superior. As the most ruthless field agent in the Manhattan office, Jimmy's reputation was widespread. Since he said it's unnecessary, they'd leave it at that.

In Jamaica District, Queens, Jimmy parked the car, and the three got out, looking around before approaching an apartnt building.

Jimmy walked ahead, and as he reached the doorstep of Daniel Brown's parents, he had already checked the situation in the room; only one person was inside, seemingly a female, which basically ruled out Daniel being ho.

"Knock knock."

"Who's outside?" The person inside ca to the door and opened it, revealing a middle-aged woman who appeared to be in her 50s or 60s.

The three showed their credentials, "FBI Senior Agent Jimmy Yang. Are you Mrs. Jesse Brown?"

The woman nodded, "Yes, what's the matter?"

Jimmy: "Is Daniel ho? We have so matters to discuss with him."

Jesse slightly shook her head, "He's not at ho. May I ask what it's about?"

Jimmy: "May we co in to discuss? It's about Daniel Brown."

Jesse looked at Jimmy and the other two and stepped aside from the doorway.

Sitting on the living room sofa, Jesse said, "Daniel isn't living at ho now. After he retired last year, he found a job and rented a room on that side of Brooklyn six months ago."

Jimmy: "Do you know what his job is? Do you have his current address?"

Jesse: "I want to know, did sothing happen to him?"

Jimmy: "There was a shooting incident today. We need to reach out to him to confirm so things."

Jesse: "Did he do it?"

Jimmy nodded, "Possibly."

Jesse said emotionally, "No, it can't be, he's a good child, he wouldn't do sothing like this."

Jimmy patiently consoled her while trying to convey the seriousness of the matter; finding Daniel quickly could clear his suspicion.

After calming down, Jesse said, "Daniel found a security job—he ntioned eting soone at a fitness club but I don't know which one exactly. I haven't been to the house he rented, and he hasn't ntioned the address."

Jimmy: "Has he been ho lately? Does he have any good friends, people who might know where to find him?"

Jesse: "No, the last ti he ca ho to see us was two months ago. After joining the army, he rarely contacted his old friends, and I don't know if he stays in touch with anyone."

Jimmy: "Can you give his phone number?"

Jesse opened her phone and found Daniel's number for Jimmy. Jimmy asked Julia, who was recording next to him, to write it down, and soon the conversation ended, "May we have a look at his room?"

Jesse nodded, stood up, and led them to the bedroom, "This is his room, but he hasn't lived here for months."

Jimmy took a pair of disposable gloves from his pocket, "Let's check it out."

Julia and Mark also put on gloves and walked into the room to inspect. Soon, both shook their heads, "No weapons, no written records, nothing."

Jimmy nodded, looked at Jesse, took a business card from his pocket and handed it over, "Thank you, Mrs. Brown. If you have any news about Daniel, please inform us as soon as possible."

Leaving Daniel's parents' house, Jimmy took Julia's notebook, wrote down the phone number in it, and dialed on his mobile, "Tech Departnt, I need urgent tracking of a phone number related to a shooting case."

Tech Departnt: "I need authorization."

Jimmy: "Ruiz will authorize it for you, start investigating and give a location."

After a while, the tech departnt provided an address, Jimmy looked at Mark and Julia, "Get in the car."

Jimmy started the car, turned on the police lights and siren, and rushed out.

Mark: "What's happening?"

Jimmy: "The phone number was traced; he's at Dike Beach Park in Brooklyn. Prepare your weapons."

Mark and Julia drew out their handguns and checked the magazines as Jimmy raced southwards towards the Brooklyn beach.
