Had a chat with Elizabeth about what business she's planning to expand on over in DC, just so casual conversation. When Peter and the others returned from a round, Jimmy then pulled Peter aside for a chat.

Peter was forced to leave Manhattan, although getting a promotion in DC, it wasn't really good news. Most people are unaware of the details here.

After chatting briefly, Jimmy and Peter wrapped it up. Peter is going to be pretty busy today.

However, he did hear that Peter's house was taken by Mahong. The environnt is nice over there, and the price is suitable. Even though Mahong is alone, the bigger space is convenient for his son to visit after coming over from his ex-wife's place.

Congratulated Mahong and casually inquired about his ex-wife and son. He still keeps in touch with his ex-wife, but at the mont, the possibility of remarriage doesn't look very promising, and Mahong can't make his son live in New York long-term.

It was clear that ntioning his ex-wife dampened his mood, as he still has feelings for her, but although his psychological issues have improved a lot, he's still a bit worried about having problems again.

The biggest winner tonight was Mahong. He took on Peter's position, house, and even part of the necessary connections for case handling. This is not just an average gain; it's practically a movie protagonist's treatnt.

Jimmy chatted with others for a bit more and then left early, driving to Nia's house.

In Kevin's study, Jimmy and Kevin were smoking cigars, Kevin looked at Jimmy: "Your enrollnt process needs to start soon."

Jimmy nodded: "The bureau's policy hasn't been released yet, Dave is still preparing."

Kevin: "Yeah, handle it as soon as possible. The longer it drags on, the more potential changes might occur in the anti."

Jimmy: "Is there a problem?"

Kevin: "No, I just want to minimize the chances of issues arising. Things have been quite unsettled lately, with multiple university students disappearing, which might impact the related university policy changes. They're even considering halting so not-so-savory activities to cover up so information."

Jimmy: "What? You're saying there have been multiple student disappearances?"

Kevin nodded: "Since the end of sumr break and the start of the school year, over the span of six months, there have been more than a dozen disappearances, involving over 50 people. But since they're at different schools, it hasn't caught much attention. If it weren't for the internal statistics of the university alliance, we wouldn't have known it was so serious.

The police departnt hasn't gotten specific ssages either; the details have been blocked for now. If similar problems occur again, it might not be possible to contain it."

Jimmy frowned as he took a puff of his cigar, "We haven't received any information. What link went wrong? These group incidents involving similar types of people should be reported."

Kevin: "This is the decision from the university alliance. They can't cause panic and have only inford the higher-ups."

Jimmy: "Have you investigated? The recent disappearance cases."

Kevin: "There aren't any leads; the places they disappeared from are mostly in other cities. We can't participate in the investigation. If we sent people over, it might blow up the situation."

Jimmy: "When did the most recent one happen, and where? I'll see if I can investigate."

Kevin: "Four university students disappeared near Rochester, and it was half a month ago."

Jimmy's eyes shifted as he pulled out his phone to check, finding Rodney the Priest's number. He was the priest Anderson arranged for Jimmy to contact. If the FBI noticed anything unusual, they could notify Father Rodney, and they would arrange an investigation.

Jimmy gestured to Kevin to be quiet, then dialed Father Rodney's number. After a few rings, the line was picked up, "Agent Yang, is there any discovery?"

Jimmy: "Sorry, Father Rodney, I haven't discovered anything unusual, but I want to confirm sothing with you regarding a case I have."

Father Rodney's tone noticeably relaxed a bit, "Ah, no worries, feel free to ask anything you want."

Jimmy glanced at Kevin, who was watching Jimmy making the call, "Here's the thing, I've received a report of a disappearance case involving four university students disappearing half a month ago, with their last known location being near Rochester City. I know you handled a case over there before; do you have any related findings?"

Father Rodney was silent for a few seconds, "If convenient, we can et and talk tomorrow."

Jimmy: "Alright, thank you, Father Rodney. See you tomorrow then."

After saying goodbye, Jimmy hung up the phone, put his phone in his pocket, picked up his glass, and clinked it with Kevin's, "I'll et with Father Rodney tomorrow. If there's any news, I'll let you know."

Kevin: "You have a lead?"

Jimmy: "There's a certain possibility, need to confirm it tomorrow. Although Rochester doesn't fall under our Manhattan office's jurisdiction, if their location is confird, I can pay a visit. Would resolving this help you?"

Kevin smiled and nodded, "Resolving it would be the best, regardless of the outco, as long as there's a result, it's good."

Jimmy: "Yeah, later on, look for more information, organize it, and give it to . Over 50 people disappeared, and they can cover it up; it's truly impressive. I haven't seen news about it in any dia."
