Shen opened his eyes and found the three Blizzard Tiger kittens were standing in front of him, facing the Ice Boa. A panic struck his mind. His thought was racing, thinking of a way to save the three kittens. He was sure that these three kittens were not a match for the Ice Boa. He looked up to find the Ice Boa was now staring at the three kittens.
'This is bad!' Shen thought to himself. He rembered what Lyra told him that the beast would rather eat a creature with the sa elent as them as it could be a form of nourishnt.
The Blizzard Tiger and the Ice Boa had the sa elent, frost or ice. He was sure that the Ice Boa would prefer to eat the three small kittens than him.
Shen did not know where the energy ca from but he jolted up and rushed toward the three kittens. He swooped the three kittens with his right hand and embraced them. After that, he turned around and activated [Void Step]. His figure dashed away from the Ice Boa.
"I have a chance to esca" Shen did not finish his word as he felt a sharp pain on his back and his body was flung to the side. The Ice Boa used its tail to attack him. His body flew to the side but he was protecting the three kittens. He embraced the three white-furred creatures tightly as he turned his body around.
Shen was making sure that his back landed first, "Arghhh!" his back hit a boulder.

Despite the pain, his head was sober. He calculated the damage that Ice Boa dealt on him. He soon realized that he lost 401 Hp. Then he looked at the missing arm, it was still bleeding. aning the bleeding status was still applied to him. He was losing 2 Hp per second, death was certain at this point, "But I have to ensure these three guys' safety first,"
"But how?" Shen leaned his back against the boulder, supporting his body. He could barely stand with the support of the boulder let alone escape from the Ice Boa who was much faster than him when he activated his movent skill, "I am dood,"
The Ice Boa was getting closer toward them. Its ice-blue eyes looked at the three kittens in his embrace. The three kittens were roaring with their immature roar while trying to break away from Shen's embrace. Maybe that was an instinct of the Blizzard Tiger to fight their enemy instead of running away.
"Yes, you are dood if I am not here with you, Shen!" Suddenly a female voice rang.
Shen then noticed a shadow hovered above the Ice Boa. Lyra attacked the Ice Boa from the back. However, the Ice Boa could avoid the attack. It dodged Lyra's claw and imdiately made a distance from the Blizzard Tiger.
Lyra landed right in front of Shen. Her purpose was not to hit a sneak attack but to reach Shen. She looked at Shen's body who lost his left arm, and she then looked at her children in his embrace. She quickly found out the situation even though Shen told him nothing about it.
"Thank you for saving my children, Shen," Lyra then lowered her head and blew cold air to Shen's left shoulder. Lyra's breath imdiately stopped the bleeding.
Shen checked his window status and noticed that the bleeding status was gone. He was no longer in bleeding status, aning he would not lose Hp anymore. That was good news for sure but they still had to face the Ice Boa, the Boss level monster for sure. Lyra was still injured Huh!?
Shen then noticed that Lyra's wound was covered by the cold around that was released by Lyra's fur, 'Ah, that way the Ice Boa does not know that Lyra is wounded. Then the Ice Boa will be cautious of attacking them,' That was a brilliant idea from Lyra.
Sure enough, when Lyra turned around to face the Ice Boa. The latter hissed cautiously but did not dare to get closer to them.
Lyra opened her mouth and roared. That was not just a normal roar as she released cold air that covered a twenty ters area. The Ice Boa retreated further from the cold air.
At this mont, Lyra turned around and swooped Shen onto her back. At this point, Shen discovered that Lyra never had an intention to fight against the Ice Boa. She was intimidating the snake to retreat then she would escape too. The plan was a big success as the Ice Boa did not chase after Lyra.

"Damn! That was so close" Shen could not but cussed out a little bit. He almost died, no, he would die if Lyra did not co in ti. More than that, the three kittens would die as well with him.
"Thank you for saving my children, Shen," Once they returned to the cave, Lyra bowed her head toward Shen once again. She was truly grateful that Shen was protecting the three brats for her.
"No, don't thank ," Shen waved his only hand toward the Blizzard Tiger, "If not for my carelessness then your children will not be in danger,"
He then recounted what happened back then. He was expecting that Lyra would be angry at him but to his surprise, she was not angry.
"No matter what, it does not change the fact that you are using yourself to save my children. That's enough to earn my gratitude, Shen," The Blizzard Tiger showed her smile for the first ti.
"Hehe" Shen rely laughed while scratching his hair. Then he rembered sothing, "What about the Frost Lotus? Did you get it?"
"You are still worried about even though you are losing an arm," Lyra shook her head and opened her mouth. She put the Ice Lotus below the tongue. The Ice Lotus looked the sa as the normal lotus. It was just that the petal of the lotus was made of ice.
"About my arm" Shen paused, 'Can I grow back my arm? Or should I die to regenerate the missing arm?' That was a good question as a missing arm was not possible in the previous ga. If a hit land on his arm, he would lose health not the arm.
'Wait What if I can't have my arm back?' Shen suddenly got scared at the thought.
