"Asher Land, let go, I need to go to the hospital..." Sophie Smith looked at the arm wrapped around her waist, feeling rather helpless.
The person seed not to hear, still holding her and sleeping sweetly.
"Asher Land! If you don’t let go soon, I, I’ll get angry!" She originally wanted to go to the hospital early, but because of his unreasonable behavior, she hadn’t gotten up yet.
Didn’t they just agree yesterday to get along better? How could he not keep his word?
"Asher Land..." Just as she was about to continue bombarding him, he suddenly opened his eyes.
"You really frighten ." He curled his lips helplessly and let go of her.
Sophie felt relieved, quickly getting out of bed.
After sorting herself, she didn’t even eat breakfast and prepared to rush to the hospital.
Sophie pressed the elevator button to the fifth floor, heading for the hospital ward, watching the numbers rising incessantly, hoping they’d speed up even more. After all, Asher had delayed her for so long, and it was already afternoon, but she hadn’t spent ti with Christopher Smith yet.
The elevator doors finally opened, and she hurried towards Christopher’s ward.
Opening the ward door, she found it empty, with the quilt neatly folded. Strange, where was everyone?
Sophie rembered, last ti she ca, no one was in the ward either, but Eva Miller had taken Christopher for breakfast. Maybe Eva took Christopher for so relaxation again.
Without delay, she took out her phone and dialed Eva’s number.
"Hello, Eva, I’m at the hospital. There’s no one in the ward. Where are you and my dad now?"
"Ah? Isn’t your dad at the hospital? I had so errands this afternoon and left, but when I left, Uncle Smith was asleep in the ward, and both nurses were there!" Eva was completely puzzled.
Sophie felt an ill premonition. She hung up and was about to ask the front desk for clarification when turning around; she saw a nurse walk in, ready to tidy up the ward.

"Transferred hospitals!"

"That’s impossible. I’m his only family mber. Why didn’t the hospital notify about the transfer?" Besides, Christopher wouldn’t just up and go without saying anything. He hadn’t even called her.
"The patient voluntarily chose to transfer, soone accompanied him and handled the procedures."
"Who?" It wasn’t her, nor Eva, and it couldn’t have been Charlotte Harrison; besides them, who else could it be?
"Oh, the records are at the front desk. You can check for yourself."
Sophie asked no further questions and ran straight to the front desk.
She looked at the record, glanced at the signature, and couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
It was Oliver Johnson who handled her father’s transfer paperwork.
She just couldn’t understand, wasn’t this hospital the best in Eastern City? Why would Oliver transfer her father away?
She left the hospital building and started dialing Oliver’s number.
Honestly, she was still a little upset. Although Oliver was a good person who took care of her and Christopher, why hadn’t he discussed it with her before taking Christopher away? She never felt he was soone who acted impulsively.
After the phone rang five tis, he picked up.
"Mr. Johnson, where did you transfer my dad to?"
