That evening, Ouyang Cheng left the island by plane.

In Shu Tong’s eyes, Ouyang Cheng was like family to her. His departure naturally made her sad and upset.

Uncontrollably, she cried.

But in Ouyang Qing’s eyes, she was reluctant to let him go, she had fallen in love with Ouyang Cheng.

That night, the drunken Ouyang Qing revealed a fierce side.

He questioned Shu Tong, asking if the child was hers and Ouyang Cheng’s, demanding to know if they had done many things to betray him.

He interrogated her about whether the man she loved was Ouyang Cheng.

He questioned her relentlessly, and regardless of how Shu Tong explained, he wouldn’t believe her and insisted she had done sothing to betray him.

Their shouting awakened the sleeping Ouyang Che, who was only one year old, and he cried loudly.

Seeing his silver hair, Ouyang Qing’s eyes turned crimson.

He grabbed Ouyang Che, cursed him as a bastard, and even wanted to throw him down.

Shu Tong snatched the child from his hands, looking at him with eyes as dead as ashes, completely disappointed in him.

Ouyang Qing couldn’t bear her gaze and took the child back, using the child’s life to threaten her to speak the truth.

He wanted Shu Tong to admit verbally that she and Ouyang Cheng had done things to betray him.

It was as if only by doing so could he prove that he was not wrong, proving that she was unqualified to look at him with such eyes.

The crazed Ouyang Qing drove Shu Tong to madness, and she laughed hysterically, firmly insisting the child was his.

Then, under his stunned gaze, she jumped from the building and died.

Shu Tong, with a resolute approach, told Ouyang Qing the child was indeed his.

She also used such a dramatic thod to save Ouyang Che’s life.

Her death struck Ouyang Qing hard, even though a paternity test later confird Ouyang Che was his son.

But he still deeply resented Ouyang Che, not liking him at all, rejecting him from the heart.

From then on, Ouyang Qing abandoned everything, beca obsessed with power, and completely turned into a person for whom profit was the only interest.

Growing up without a mother and with a father who disliked him, Ouyang Che had been unhappy since he beca sensible.

If he did anything slightly wrong, Ouyang Che would beat and scold him, not allowing him to eat.

As a child, he felt saddened and upset, unable to understand why his father didn’t like him.

Until one year, his uncle Ouyang Cheng returned, and during a quarrel with his father, he learned the truth.

Since then, he began to hate Ouyang Qing, and his personality turned cold and gloomy.

Listening to his story, Wushuang was stunned for a long ti.

This was Ache’s past, the reason for his mother’s death.

She hadn’t anticipated that a person’s childhood could be so miserable.

In comparison, she was extrely lucky to have the love of her brother and Aunt Fatty.

"Ache, don’t be sad. The Grand Elder is a bad guy; he doesn’t like you. I like you, and I will share all my happiness with you in the future so that you won’t be sad." Wushuang earnestly said, holding his hand tightly.

Listening to Ache’s account, she genuinely felt sad for him, her heart ached for him.

"Wushuang." Ouyang Che gripped her hand, his dark eyes flickering slightly, "I don’t need sympathy."

"No, I don’t sympathize with you! Ache, I just... just hope you can be happy."

"You hope I can be happy?"

"Yes, you’re my good friend. If you’re not happy, then I’m not happy."

Ouyang Che blinked, his deep eyes like a magnet, drawing her full attention.
