Christopher listened to her tone, she seed to regret having liked him before, regretting having pursued him.

Thinking of this, Christopher was filled with rage, just about to grab Sophia and question her aning, when he saw Theo standing in front of Sophia, smiling at the boy holding flowers, saying, "Kid, you seem to have overlooked my existence. Sophia said she doesn’t like you, she already has a boyfriend, and that person is , see?"

Theo was not angry, just treating the other person like a child, as if a teacher was scolding a student.

The boy holding the flowers listened to Theo’s words, dismissively saying, "The man is unmarried, the woman is unattached. From what I see, you and Sophia have just t, let’s have a fair competition, it’s not certain who’ll laugh last."

"Kid, I can’t be lumped in with you. Sophia and I are childhood sweethearts. I knew her the day she was born. The reason she’s going on blind dates is because we weren’t together, now we are, you probably don’t stand a chance. When we have the wedding, do attend." Theo had no trouble dealing with these guys.

"I don’t care how long you’ve known Sophia, I only know, as long as you haven’t married, I still have a chance." Then, the boy looked at Sophia and said, "Sophia, give us a chance to get to know each other! I promise to treat you well."

"No need, Theo and I are already discussing marriage, so I won’t waste your ti." Sophia said as she hid behind Theo.

However, at this mont, standing behind Sophia, Christopher’s face had turned pale with anger. Theo said that the reason Sophia was going on blind dates was that he wasn’t with her yet. Does this an that Sophia was pursuing him, or those before him, just to put on a show for Theo, to provoke Theo’s feelings for her? Was her heart really only for Theo?

When Christopher thought of this, he took a deep breath, clenched his fists tightly in anger, and turned around, leaving without looking back.

He thought to himself, so all this ti, she was just acting in front of him, performing for another man, and he was actually deceived by her play, actually felt she liked him.

The more Christopher thought about it, the angrier he beca, the more he felt like a joke, the more he felt won were detestable.

Madam Scott followed behind Christopher, watching his angry deanor, only feeling baffled, thinking, this guy doesn’t even have a period, yet he’s more moody than a woman.

Madam Scott chased after Christopher, nagging, "Sophia moves quite fast, getting married in just a few days. Christopher, you’d better hurry, don’t let Hudson, that kid, get ahead of you; he’s three years younger than you, and I want to beco a grandmother soon!"

Christopher listened to Madam Scott’s nagging, his brain aching, rolled his eyes at her, and walked towards the elevator, no matter how Madam Scott pulled him, he wouldn’t turn back, wouldn’t want to see her classmate’s daughter.

As soon as he thought of Sophia discussing marriage, his mood soured, stubbornly insisting that Sophia never liked him from the start.

But no matter how he thought about it, whether Sophia had really liked him, it was already in the past. There was no connection between them, after all, he had already rejected Sophia.

In the elevator, Christopher took a deep breath, took his phone out of his pocket, and scrolled through the ssages Sophia had sent him.

He bit his lower lip, unable to believe that every word she said to him was a lie. He wanted to delete all her ssages, but after marking them, he pressed the back button instead.

If he deleted the ssages, he’d probably have no pasti to kill ti in the future.

So he helplessly let out a long sigh and left those ssages.

At the sa ti, in the departnt store, under the joint act of Sophia and Theo, the boy who proposed to Sophia was sent away.

The ice cream in Theo’s hand had lted, and Sophia reluctantly threw it into a nearby trash, then turned around, looking for a long ti at the place where Christopher had left.

In the farce just now, Christopher left without saying a word, and Sophia felt a bit disappointed, but couldn’t explain why she felt this way.

Next to her, Theo looked at her gloomy expression, raised his right hand, pinched her cheek, and gently asked, "Was that boy the one you’ve been chasing for a year and a half?"

"Yeah! Still hates as always, don’t know how I offended him." While Sophia spoke, her gaze still fell on the spot where Christopher had just stood.

"Forget it! He doesn’t see how great my sister is, but soone will. That kid just now wasn’t bad either! You could consider him." Theo ruffled Sophia’s head, spinning her around, making her turn forward, and continue shopping in the departnt store.

"Brother, I’m sorry! I just recklessly wanted to show off, so I used you as a shield." Sophia suddenly called the man brother.

Sophia and Theo are indeed siblings, cousins; Maya is the younger cousin on her mother’s side, and Theo is the older cousin on her father’s side.

Theo had been studying abroad, just returned not long ago, at the age of 26.

Sophia initially wanted to introduce her younger cousin Maya to Theo, but since that guy was too busy with fun last night and couldn’t get out of bed, she had to shop with Theo, unexpectedly running into Christopher.

Sophia hadn’t seen Christopher in over a week and a half. Upon eting again, she wanted to retrieve the dignity she had lost before, didn’t want Christopher to look down on her, so she quickly lied, claiming Theo was her boyfriend.

What bothered her was that Christopher seed indifferent to the changes in her life, whether soone new ca into her life or left.

Sophia was upset, took Theo’s arm, and said aggrievedly, "Brother, I don’t want to shop anymore, let’s go ho!"

Sophia thought she had forgotten about Christopher, but upon eting again, her heart was still touched by him; she still cared about his gaze, cared about his attention to her.

Theo saw that Sophia suddenly beca depressed, pinched her chubby little face, and said, "Okay, we’ll do as you say."

So, the two of them went ho.

However, after eting Christopher, Sophia didn’t leave the house, fearing running into Christopher again, afraid of seeing his cold face.

She didn’t want to be looked down upon by Christopher, nor did she want him to see any emotional changes due to him, so she’s been staying ho for the past two days.

Until three days later in the afternoon, Maya called.

On the other end, Maya complacently said, "Sophia, there’s a party at the bar tonight. Join us."

"No, I don’t want to go." Wherever Christopher was, Sophia didn’t want to appear.

"Do you plan to hide from Christopher forever? You didn’t catch him, but can’t we all still be friends? You didn’t co to dinner last ti either. Everyone asked about you; are you sure you don’t want these friends, don’t want Seven, don’t want Noah, or Ella, or Hudson either."

Spoiler: Christopher is going to cause a stir tomorrow!
