At four o’clock in the afternoon, Maya Spencer was wiping her tears while cursing Liam Spencer, "I’m going to run away from ho."
Liam saw this guy was about to leave ho, quickly extended his long arm, pulled her into his embrace, and said earnestly, "Running away from ho? Sure!
"Pfft..." Maya looked at his shaless expression, feeling completely defeated, she couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Hearing the girl’s laughter, Liam was overjoyed and imdiately bit her lip and questioned, "Maya, could you really bear to leave ho?"

At this mont, Liam’s phone suddenly rang. He held Maya with his left hand, gently patting her back, and reached with his right hand under the pillow to grab the phone.
The call was from Christopher Scott, and when Liam answered, he imdiately heard Christopher asking, "Third Brother, did you forget sothing?"
"What is it?" Liam frowned, unable to rember what he had forgotten.
Christopher was about to cry. They had clearly agreed yesterday to check the construction progress of the new comrcial street together today, and this guy completely forgot.
Christopher didn’t have to think much to know that he was definitely in Maya’s gentle embrace at this mont, otherwise, how could he forget sothing so important?
So, Christopher said helplessly, "Third Brother, you’re still young, now you’re completely deluded, we agreed yesterday to go to the construction site, yet you forgot so thoroughly."
When Christopher brought it up, Liam rembered that he promised to go to the construction site with Christopher yesterday; but after going to the hospital this morning, hearing the test results, he got so excited that he forgot all about it.
However, he didn’t like what Christopher said earlier, so he raised a smirk and said, "You’re a bull, I’m not."
Then he added, "We’ll go to the site tomorrow."
Nesting in Liam’s arms, Maya’s face imdiately darkened when she heard him say he’s not a bull, pouting, and angrily cursing, "Christopher, that bastard, talking nonsense again."
Hearing Maya’s angry voice, Christopher quickly shifted to discussing work, saying, "Brother, I already went to the site with Xavier Graham this afternoon, the inspection report is with , I’ll send it to you tomorrow."
Listening to Christopher’s explanation, Liam coldly said, "No need, I’ll have soone pick it up now."
Since this guy’s words upset Maya, why not give him sothing to worry about too! For example, letting Sophia Bennett help retrieve the docunts.
So, after hanging up, Liam called Sophia and asked her to go to Scott Clan Group to get the docunts for him.
Before getting this task, Sophia was sulking at ho. After receiving the task, it was like she was revitalized, changed into a prettier outfit, and headed to Scott Clan Group.
anwhile, Christopher was foolishly sitting in his office waiting for soone from Liam’s side to pick up the materials.
An hour later, there was a knock on Christopher’s office door.
Christopher calmly said, "Co in."
Soon after, Sophia entered with a smiling face.
The mont Sophia appeared, Christopher’s face imdiately turned gloomy.
If his mory was correct, they had agreed a year and a half ago that she wouldn’t co to his company to find him. Had she forgotten?
Sophia stood at the door, quickly took two steps forward, cautiously explaining, "Christopher, don’t get wrong, I didn’t purposely co to disturb your work, Liam asked to help him pick up so materials."
Nowadays, seeing Christopher was like a little mouse seeing a cat, Sophia was extrely cautious in every way.
Christopher’s expression showed a slight change, and her heart tightened, fearing he would dislike her even more.
This was the third ti Sophia ca to Scott Clan Group after they made their agreent. The first ti was to accompany Maya; the second ti was to return a phone Christopher had left in Liam’s office.
Seeing the fear and trepidation on her face, Christopher couldn’t bring himself to be angry with her.
Christopher was just this kind of person, soft-hearted and unaffected by defiance. If Sophia had maintained her high-and-mighty attitude, he would’ve been angry; however, seeing her afraid of him, he couldn’t bla her further, especially since Liam was involved.
Thus, he unexpectedly grabbed a file folder from the shelf and tossed it onto the desk, saying, "Take this to Liam."
Sophia, seeing Christopher hadn’t blad her for coming to the company, finally had the courage to take steps further, walked to the desk, and opened the file folder to take out the materials.
Seeing she wasn’t leaving with the materials, Christopher quickly lifted his head, stared at Sophia, and questioned, "What are you looking at? Another company’s secrets, can you just look at them freely?"
Hearing Christopher’s accusation, Sophia halted her hand halfway through pulling out the file.
At this point, she couldn’t help but feel a bit wronged, thinking, it’s been so long, hasn’t Christopher forgiven her yet?
