The assistant observed the astonishnt in Maya Spencer’s eyes, leisurely walked to the ’castle’ entrance, activated the scanner on the door, and conducted a confirmation scan.

A mont later, the castle door opened, and Maya Spencer and Ella Turner gazed in utter amazent at the breathtaking view inside.

Before them lay a massive garden filled with countless trees, all pruned into animal shapes. The garden boasted innurable flowers, plants, fountains, and recreational facilities.

In the garden stood a building resembling a fairy tale castle, accompanied by several other small villas beside it.

Maya Spencer couldn’t believe this was a private estate, and even more so, the ho of Jas Bennett.

As they were left speechless, a garden sightseeing car stopped in front of the trio. The driver appeared sowhat old, his beard white, yet energetic, full of vigor, as if his physique was not inferior to that of a young person.

Seeing Assistant Thompson bringing guests, he imdiately greeted them with a welcoming smile: "Assistant Thompson, did the chairman not return with you?"

Clearly, the old man was unaware of Jas Bennett’s hospitalization.

At that mont, Maya Spencer felt ashad, hurriedly lowered her head, not daring to look at the old man.

Assistant Thompson noticed this, promptly laughed as he explained: "The chairman has been sowhat busy lately. This is his daughter, and this is her friend, Miss Turner."

"Daughter?" The old man’s eyes widened in surprise upon hearing that Jas Bennett had a daughter, and then he bead with joy: "So, the young lady has returned. Quick, hop on the car, and I’ll show you around this garden."

Assistant Thompson chose not to have the driver drive through the avenue just to let Maya Spencer more deeply feel Jas Bennett’s dedication.

Thus, the three of them boarded the sightseeing car, listening to the old man explain the garden as they arrived in front of the castle.

Once the car stopped, the old man said: "Miss, this is the main residence, the nearby buildings are the servants’ quarters. I’m the gardener here, you can call Uncle Bright."

"Thank you, Uncle Bright!" Maya Spencer politely expressed her gratitude after getting off the car.

anwhile, she was stunned by the beauty surrounding her. If not for Ella Turner and Assistant Thompson by her side, she would have certainly thought herself to be Alice falling into Wonderland.

After Uncle Bright drove the sightseeing car away, Assistant Thompson led Maya Spencer and Ella Turner into the ’castle.’

As Maya Spencer’s right foot stepped into the castle, she was shocked by the sight before her. She saw that the castle was filled with photographs of her mother. These were photos taken when her mother was young, and the walls of the house adorned with decorative paintings, all depicting her mother, were everywhere. There were photos, oil paintings, all showcasing various smiles and expressions of her mother, and the largest photo was of her mother turning around in a sunflower field, smiling happily. Surrounded by smaller oil paintings.

Even on the stairwell walls of the castle, there were photos of her mother. Those who didn’t know her would certainly think she was a model.

Ella Turner looked up, observing the tall circular do, feeling as though she was dreaming, wondering how she could co to such a beautiful place.

Then, she hugged Maya Spencer’s arm, softly asking, "Maya, is the woman in these photos your mom?"

Although she had never seen Maya Spencer’s mother, her subconscious told her that this beautiful woman was indeed Maya Spencer’s mother.

"Yes!" Maya Spencer softly replied, pulling Ella Turner and following behind Assistant Thompson.

Everything Assistant Thompson wanted her to see, she had seen. Next was to hear his explanation as to why Jas Bennett was not with her mother.

A mont later, Assistant Thompson led Maya Spencer and Ella Turner to a vast studio filled with many paintings that had yet to be hung, all depicting her mother.

Maya Spencer looked at these paintings, furrowing her brows, and asked, "Assistant Thompson, what did you want to tell ?"

The man listened to Maya Spencer’s question, took a deep breath, and said leisurely, "I was the assistant to the old master, and since the chairman took over the business, I’ve been his assistant. I understand the story between the chairman and your mother very well."

"Every oil painting in this house was created by the chairman himself. He adored Miss Hanson and always wanted to build a ho for her, yet when Miss Hanson passed away, he hadn’t been able to fulfill that wish."

"This castle was built by the chairman for Miss Hanson, and the amusent park and those animal-shaped trees in the garden were prepared for the child in her womb. When the chairman did all this, he didn’t know that the child was his own."

"That ti, after having unwarranted relations with Miss Hanson under the influence of alcohol, the two had a falling out. Following that, the chairman sought out Miss Hanson, wanting to take responsibility, but Miss Hanson refused. Until two months later, Miss Hanson told the chairman that she was pregnant with Edward Spencer’s child, asking him not to co looking for her anymore."

"After that, the chairman was desolate for so ti, but he quickly regained his spirit. During Miss Hanson’s pregnancy, Madam Spencer, Hannah, gave birth to the fourth daughter of the Spencer Family. The chairman feared Miss Hanson wouldn’t wait for rightful recognition, so he began to build the castle, wanting to sincerely move Miss Hanson and be willing to be the father of her child."

"Miss Spencer ought to see that the garden design was ant for children, as Miss Hanson loved to claim herself as a princess when she was young, prompting the chairman to build a castle to fulfill her princess dream."

"Before the house was completed, the chairman sought Miss Hanson twice but was denied each ti. After the house was finished, around the ti you were two years old, the chairman again found Miss Hanson."

"That ti, Miss Hanson was very emotional, claiming she was living well and didn’t need the chairman’s sympathy. She even threatened the chairman with a knife to her throat, saying that if he disrupted her life or her relationship with Edward Spencer, she would die on the spot in front of the chairman."

"Since then, the chairman never again sought Miss Hanson. He confined himself in this castle for over a decade, doing nothing but painting each day, neglecting company affairs, and rarely leaving except to attend comrcial conferences. These years, being pestered by Miss Sophia, he finally agreed to move to the city."

"The chairman never intended to wrong Miss Hanson; Miss Hanson never once looked back at him. She never discovered the chairman’s goodness. He remained single all these years for her, never married, and barely glanced at other won apart from his sister and niece."

"When your mother passed away, the chairman stood at a distance observing her simple funeral, his eyes reddened several tis. During those days, he wasn’t resting well. Miss Hanson’s ashes remained unplaced, causing the chairman much headache. He collaborated with the Hanson Family several tis, wishing to retrieve Miss Hanson’s ashes and bury them in this garden. However, he was rejected by your grandfather. Fortunately, she finally returned to the Hanson Family, offering the chairman so consolation."
