"Regarding Ethan Turner’s matter, it’s true that your uncle handled it inappropriately. That day, Charlotte Owen called , saying you made Liam Spencer a cuckold, and told to discipline you properly. Later, I learned from Jane Spencer that you seemingly eloped with soone and were brought back by Liam. These matters are very sensitive, and uncle didn’t ask you directly. During my private investigation, I found you were quite close to Ethan Turner, so I thought he was the one you liked."

"Recently, I noticed from your behavior you seed to plan on leaving Liam Spencer, thinking you wanted to elope with soone you love. I feared that after you leave, Hanson Clan would beco Liam’s target for retaliation. So, to sever your ties, I had thoughts of killing Ethan, but the day before Ethan’s car accident, I gave up. I told those two drivers to take the money and leave, not to contact again. Yet, the next day, the accident still happened. I was very surprised, really surprised, and I didn’t send anyone to spray anything on his car."

"Maya, your uncle guarantees every word is true. If there’s a lie, Hanson Clan will imdiately go bankrupt."

"Uncle, don’t make a vow, it won’t work. No matter how much you value Hanson Clan, it’s not more important than your life. Don’t try to play the sympathy card with , I won’t fall for it."

Her greatest sorrow is that Ethan’s death is indeed related to her. Such a truth makes it hard for her to speak to Ella Turner, hard to face her. Even if she sacrifices her life, she can’t bring back Ethan’s life. She would rather be the one hit and killed than Ethan.

Seeing Maya not believing him, Aron Hanson beca anxious and imdiately ca out of the office to snatch her bag.

Seeing this, Maya indifferently opened her bag and threw the original docunt inside to him, saying, "Is it aningful? Even if the police haven’t filed the case for a day, those aware will still send it over, or directly to the police."

Aron was stunned at Maya’s words. What she said was right; the evidence wasn’t found by her and Ella. Even if he gets the original docunt they received, it doesn’t an anything.

So, Aron lightly tossed the evidence Maya threw to him on the table, grasped Maya’s shoulders with both hands, and seriously said, "Maya, don’t report to the police just yet. Give your uncle a week, and he will surely find out who the real culprit is. Is that okay?"

Seeing her uncle’s last struggle, Maya felt sympathetic but also helpless. She forced a bitter smile and said, "Aron, when you heard those chaotic rumors, why didn’t you co and ask ? Why make decisions on your own? I can tell you, I like Liam Spencer, and I won’t leave him."

At this point, Aron was completely dumbfounded, feeling extrely conflicted and not knowing how to respond.

"I want to believe you more than anyone else. I hope everything you said is true," Maya said as she removed Aron’s hands from her shoulders and turned to leave.

Maya’s expectation from Aron was simply an unspoken agreent to give him a week to find the real killer, but during this ti, she kept a close watch on him to prevent his escape.

If things are as Aron said and he ultimately gave up on the idea, he certainly wouldn’t leave S City. If he lied, within this week, there’d definitely be a big move, transferring Hanson’s funds, and then flee S City. If he really did so, Maya wouldn’t be soft, and she would definitely report to the police.

In Aron Hanson’s office, he looked at the two pieces of evidence on the desk and anxiously scratched his head. He knew his ti was running short, even if Maya agreed to give him a week, would the sender of the mail give him that ti?

As he cald down, he quickly dialed the numbers of the two drivers involved, but neither could be reached.

Aron’s brow furrowed tightly, the urgent matter was to find those two drivers who caused the accident and ask them clearly why they eventually hit the person.

At the sa ti, inside Maya’s car, her hands gripped the steering wheel, trembling uncontrollably. Even now, she couldn’t believe her uncle did this.

She didn’t tell her uncle that the mail was sent from Sister Jane Spencer. She feared that once both knew the truth, they might destroy each other. As for the facts her uncle spoke of, Maya didn’t find them very credible.

She’s been with Aron for three years and knows him sowhat. He’s never one to drag things out, and once he decides, he never changes his mind, so Maya doesn’t believe the facts he claims.

The reason for agreeing to give him a week to investigate is to give him a psychological buffer, preventing more extre actions, while forcing him to reveal his true self when he escapes S City.

At this mont, all Maya could think of were images of Ethan and Ella Turner. She hadn’t expected her close association with Ethan would spell disaster for him. Thinking this, Maya’s tears stread down her face, chokingly saying, "Ethan, I’m sorry, really sorry!"

Yet no matter how she apologizes, it’s too late; the incident already happened, and she can’t undo it.

However, Liam Spencer had known about this matter long ago but never told her, leaving her in the dark like a fool, still warning Aron to keep away from Sister Jane. Maya found it laughable, thinking how could soone as ruthless as Aron need his reminder.

Now she finally recalled why her uncle paused suddenly when she warned him last ti; it turns out he was feeling guilty.

But she never realized, and thinking of her stupidity, Maya let out a bitter smile, with tears still on her face.

Half an hour later, she drove back to Liam Spencer’s villa, pale like she had lost her soul, weakly heading to the second floor, not even hearing Aunt Smith call out to her twice.

Aunt Smith watched Maya in a daze, confusedly muttering to herself, "Couldn’t be fighting with the young master again, could she?"

So, she followed up imdiately, asking Maya about the situation, but Maya just shook her head, feebly saying, "No fighting, Aunt Smith, let be alone for a while!"

She’s very ssy now, not wanting to interact with anyone, just wanting to be quiet and clear her thoughts, thinking about how to confess this matter to Ella Turner.

Seeing this, Aunt Smith no longer troubled her but secretly gave Liam Spencer a call, reporting Maya’s condition. Listening to Aunt Smith’s report, Liam calmly said, "I’m almost ho."

When Maya went to Hanson Clan Group, Liam Spencer had been following behind her car. He feared Maya couldn’t control her emotions once she learned the truth and worried about her safety, so he kept following her, even ensuring the route ho was clear, allowing her to drive alone on the wide road.

Distracted, Maya didn’t notice that the bustling road had only two cars, hers and Liam’s following behind.
