This idea grew stronger and stronger in Maya Spencer’s mind. She looked up a lot of information online and sent it to him, but he didn’t even pay attention to her.

It was the first ti Maya felt so guilty, even more than when she wrongly accused him last ti. After all, he was the third young master of the Spencer Family, and the big boss of the Owen Clan Group. She didn’t want anything to happen to him, otherwise, she wouldn’t have a good life either. Thinking about his cold face, she sighed deeply, got out of bed, tiptoed up to the second floor, and knocked on soone’s door.

Inside the room, Liam Spencer heard the knock and thought it was his big sister. At this ti, only she would co looking for him. But when he opened the door, he unexpectedly saw Maya standing at the door in her robe looking silly.

Seeing that it was Maya, he was about to slam the door shut without saying a word.

His attitude was expected by Maya. She quickly stuck her leg in to prevent him from closing the door completely.

"Third Brother, I sent you a lot of symptoms of diseases. Do you want to take a look and then maybe treat them?" she said.

"Guilty as charged." Indeed, Maya was the perfect example of guilt right now.

"Let in for a bit! I promise I absolutely won’t hit you." From her deanor, it seed like she thought she was quite tough.

Liam, worried that she would continue to make a fuss and wake the family, making it even more embarrassing, decided to let her in.

After entering the room, Maya was unceremonious, her big eyes staring directly at a certain part of him without blinking.

Her gaze made him both angry and amused. He smacked her on the back of the head jokingly and asked, "What are you looking at?"

"Um, are you feeling better?"

"No."

Upon hearing him say no, she quickly grabbed his arm with both hands, suggesting, "Why don’t we go out now, and I’ll call soone to keep you company? We can see if you’re still functioning."

Liam could have never imagined that this ’sister’ who was usually so silent and gentle would speak so boldly without any embarrassnt. Clearly, Hannah and the others were right to scold her.

To get rid of her, he bent down, stared into her eyes, and scared her, "If you want to test it, you should do it yourself. You caused the trouble, why should soone else test it for you?"

Upon hearing that she had to test it herself, Maya quickly pushed his hand away, backing off with a novel’s line: "How can that work? What if I get pregnant and have a baby with a pig’s tail?"

"It’s the middle of the night; can’t you find sothing better to do? Get out now." As Liam spoke, he grabbed her by the collar, opened the door, and threw her out.

"Hey, don’t close the door! You really don’t appreciate good intentions. I’m doing this for your own good, okay?"

"Maya Spencer, if you keep shouting, do you believe I won’t let you step back into the Spencer Family?"

"What! Seriously." Maya huffed, kicked the door, and turned to leave.

Just as she reached Jane Spencer’s room door, it suddenly opened. Jane crossed her arms, half-opened her eyes, and asked her.

"Maya, why aren’t you sleeping in the middle of the night? What are you doing?"

"Big sister, um, um, Third Brother isn’t feeling well, so I ca to check on him." Maya stamred, feeling very guilty.

"Liam is not feeling well?" Hearing her brother was unwell, Jane’s eyes widened in surprise. She quickly walked to his room and knocked on the door.

Seeing this, Maya bolted, thinking her big sister knocking on the door shouldn’t be blad on her—it had nothing to do with her.

Inside the room, Liam was on the verge of being driven crazy by the knocking. Tonight, he was truly on the brink because of soone constantly buzzing around him. After finally falling asleep, she kept sending him ssages, and when he switched off his phone, she ca up to knock.

No, he had to find a way to send this ’good little sister’ back to the dorms, or else he wouldn’t have a mont’s peace in his life.

To show how troubled he was, he suddenly kicked his slipper towards the door to express his discontent.

But then he heard soone outside saying, "Liam, it’s , Big Sister."

Only upon hearing Jane’s voice did he open the door to let her in.

After Jane entered, she scanned the room and noticed the textbooks sprawled out on the study desk, clearly indicating that Maya had been kicked out while doing howork.

"Sis, it’s late. Do you need sothing?"

"Nothing, just heard from Maya that you’re unwell, so I ca to check on you. What’s wrong?"

"Nothing’s wrong, that girl is talking nonsense."

"You two seem to be getting along well lately! I noticed you giving her a ride to school quite often."

"No, just gave her a lift a couple of tis since it was on the way."

"As long as you’re okay. I’ll head back to my room then. You should rest early."

"Mm!"

Just as Jane reached the door, she suddenly turned back, "I’ll be bringing Lillian Morris ho for lunch tomorrow, so co back early."

"Mm."

"Also, it’s Maya’s birthday the day after tomorrow. Rember to prepare a present for her."

"Mm!"

Ha! Preparing a present for her, not beating her up was already nice enough, let alone sending gifts.

After Jane left, Liam finally got so peace. Lying on the bed, he couldn’t help but laugh when recalling Maya’s suggestion to find a lady of the night. Even though he didn’t like her very much, he had to admit that sotis her words and actions were amusing and could make him laugh.

After getting familiar with Maya, he realized she actually was quite like a 19-year-old girl.

The next morning, when Liam went downstairs for breakfast, soone was already waiting for him. Seeing him co down, she imdiately pulled out his chair for him and poured him milk, acting like a bootlicker, and he completely ignored her.

Finally, when the servants weren’t around, Maya crept up to his ear and cautiously asked, "Third Brother, are you feeling better?"

Ever since she hurt him last night, she’d been calling him Third Brother oh so sweetly as if they ca from the sa mother.

Listening to her greet him, Liam rolled his eyes at her and didn’t respond, then got up from the table and left for work.

Seeing this, Maya grabbed her backpack and followed him; he got in the car, she also got in the car, entirely without his consent.

Finally, unable to take it anymore, he said, with a darkened face, "Get out of the car!"

"Third Brother, I’m not trying to hitch a ride; I want to take you to the hospital to check. I researched online last night that just because it doesn’t hurt doesn’t an there won’t be aftereffects. You’d better have it checked out."

"Get out of the car!"

"If you’re afraid of feeling embarrassed going to the hospital, then let’s find a nice girl; give it a test, how about that? If you’re functional, then it should be fine."

"Maya Spencer, get out of the car!" Liam, full of rage, was dying to kick her out.

"Third Brother, I’m doing this for your own good. Look, I found a few young models for you online last night; I even saved their photos. Which one do you like? I’ll contact her for you." She placed the phone in front of him, trying to lure him with the models shown on the screen.

"Are you paying?"

"Oh, co on! It’s not like you’re short on money. It won’t cost much. Like this one, starts at 100,000, but I can negotiate it down to 60,000."

Liam finally surrendered, started the vehicle, and turned the music up to the max, drowning out the constant chatter of soone. If it weren’t for last night’s incident, he wouldn’t have realized she could talk so much, more than the Monk could ever chant.

Finally, Maya couldn’t take it anymore. She reached out a small hand and with a "slap," turned off the music, and earnestly scolded, "How can you be like this! This concerns your lineage continuation, how can you not take it seriously?"
