"Alright!" Henry Reid replied calmly, without persuading her to reconsider.
In the bedroom, Noah Owen sat on the bed, feeling depressed.
She tightly grasped the clothes she was supposed to change into but hadn’t moved. Her right hand gently caressed her lower abdon, not feeling any sign of life.
She took a deep breath, still changed her clothes, and then walked to the living room, pretending to be calm as she said, "We can leave now."
On the way to the hospital, neither of them spoke.
Looking at Henry, who was staying silent, Noah grew increasingly unhappy, thinking, is he really not going to say a single word to make her stay?
However, knowing her own personality, even if Henry did try to make her stay, she’d probably just argue back.
When they arrived at the underground parking lot, Noah even felt a sense of repulsion, reluctant to get out of the car.
"Noah, are you sure, have you thought it over?" At this mont, Henry finally spoke, but Noah angrily pushed open the car door, got out, and walked toward the elevator on her own.
Henry watched Noah’s determined back, suddenly pulled out his phone, and dialed her number.
At the elevator entrance, Noah looked at the familiar phone number, took a deep breath, and answered.
She asked, "Aren’t you coming up?"
"Noah, marry !" Last ti Henry had ntioned marrying Noah, she had interrupted him.
This ti, he finally said the words completely.
On the other end of the phone, Noah glanced at Henry in the car, her mind flashing back to his apology the previous night.
For a mont, she felt so wronged, her throat ached, and her heart felt extrely uncomfortable.
This was the first ti she had ever felt this way.
She paused for a mont, then resud her usual tone and said, "Forget it! You don’t have to marry out of obligation for the child, nor do I want to marry out of obligation for the child."
Noah never thought of getting married, especially not to soone who didn’t love her.
"Noah, after getting rid of the child, marry ! When you’re ready, we can have another," Henry said earnestly.
"Whoosh!" Noah’s eyes instantly reddened, unsure of what to say, just staring at the vehicle not far away, unmoved.
In the car, Henry fixed his gaze on the girl, waiting for her response, hoping she would give him a status as her fiancé, that he could accompany her to get rid of the child, to give her a sense of security.
"Noah, you vicious woman, who told you to co back and steal Henry Reid from , you whore, I’ll kill you." Just as the situation was at a stalemate, Elia Spencer suddenly burst into the elevator lobby with a knife, lunging at Noah.
Since she learned of Noah’s pregnancy, she had been watching her 24/7, waiting for the opportunity to strike and seek revenge on Noah.
Now, seeing Noah standing alone in the elevator lobby, she rcilessly lunged at her with a knife.
Seeing Elia crazily charging at her, Noah raised her arm, hurled her phone at Elia’s face, and when she tried to escape the elevator lobby, she realized there were dead ends behind her; even if the elevator opened, she didn’t dare to enter.
She knew Elia liked Henry Reid, and attacking her was definitely because she was carrying Henry’s child.
So, while dodging, she explained, "Elia, what are you doing? I’m going to get rid of the child right now; are you sure you want to point a knife at ? It was an accident with Henry Reid, I don’t want him."
"Liar, you’re a liar, you just want to trick into letting you go, Noah, I didn’t think you were even worse than Maya Spencer, seducing Henry Reid and getting pregnant with his child, I won’t let you or your child go," Elia said, waving the knife at Noah.
Seeing this, Noah hurriedly swung her handbag to block Elia’s attacks.
In the car, seeing the scene unfolding, Henry quickly got out and rushed to the elevator lobby.
As he tried to restrain Elia, she saw his reflection in the ceramic tiles on the wall and imdiately turned around, waving the knife at him and warning, "Henry Reid, leave, this doesn’t concern you, I don’t want to hurt."
Henry looked at the frantic Elia, fearlessly walked past her into the elevator lobby, took Noah’s hand, then turned to Elia and said, "If you have any grudges, co to , I made Noah pregnant, I seduced her."
"You’re lying, it’s this slut who seduced you, without her, you would definitely like ," Elia agitatedly pointed the knife at Henry.
"Elia, I have never t anyone like you, do you think without Maya and Noah, I would like you? Please face reality, even if there was only one woman left in the world, I wouldn’t like you."
"Look at yourself in the mirror, haven’t you noticed you look like a madwoman? How could I possibly like soone like you?" Henry was angered by Elia.
He had encountered clingy won before but had never t soone this clingy; after so many years, she still wouldn’t let go. If they were a possibility, they would have been together long ago, why couldn’t she understand?
Henry had tried reasoning with Elia before, both good and bad.
When Maya left three years ago, he advised Elia not to waste her ti on him, that there couldn’t be anything between them, but this woman remained stubborn, which gave him a headache.
"I’m not crazy, I’m not crazy, Henry Reid, tell , what am I doing wrong, can I change? Don’t be deceived by those sluts, they don’t really like you," Elia, knife in right hand, touched her own face with her left, arguing.
"Elia, if you really liked , you should bless , not threaten the woman I like with a knife."
"No, no, you don’t like Noah, you like ." Now, Elia really looked like she had gone mad.
"You’re wrong, I like Noah, I have never liked you."
Behind Henry, Noah listened to his words of affection, suddenly lifted her head, staring straight into Henry’s eyes, seemingly trying to discern whether he was being truthful or just provoking Elia.
"You slut! Who told you to look at him? Who told you to seduce Henry Reid?" Once Elia saw Noah looking at Henry, she exploded, charging at Noah with the knife.
Seeing this, Henry hurriedly shielded Noah, pushed Elia away, and simultaneously, his arm was grazed by the knife.
Seeing Henry standing up for Noah, Elia went completely berserk, wielding the knife erratically at both of them.
Seeing her madness, Henry quickly turned around, tightly embracing Noah, fearing she would get hurt.
All of a sudden, Noah’s eyes welled up with tears, and she clutched Henry’s clothes tightly, saying, "Let go of , the two of us can subdue her."
But just then, Elia raised the knife, stabbing at Henry’s back.
That’s when Henry finally felt the pain, realizing he was injured.
"Ah... Ah..." Simultaneously, the elevator doors on the right side opened, followed by a wave of screams.
