"Other than Maya, Liam doesn’t want anyone." At this mont, Liam lay back on the bed again, speaking ambiguously.
"Liam, you’re really good at sweet-talking girls."
"I only sweet-talk you, little one. Do you miss ?"
All this way, Liam was missing Maya like crazy, wishing she would appear in front of him imdiately so he could lavish her with love.
Maya listened to Liam’s question and suddenly rembered she had important news to share, so she excitedly said, "I’ve been so busy today, you won’t believe what happened."
However, Liam completely ignored Maya’s attempt to change the subject, continuing to ask, "Do you miss ?"
"Liam, let tell you, my uncle..."
"Maya, I’m asking you a question! Do you miss ?" Liam interrupted her, seeing her trying to avoid his question, and continued to press her.
He even deliberately lay on his side, so
Maya looked at the man’s cheeky behavior and burst into laughter, saying, "You’re... seducing ."
"Are you seduced?" he shalessly asked.
"No," Maya answered with a silly smile.
"Oh! It seems you don’t miss , then hang up!" Liam seriously threatened her, looking at the silly Maya.
Seeing Liam upset, Maya quickly said, "No, no! I am seduced."
Only after Maya compromised did Liam put the phone back on the bed, smiling as he looked at her.
He really likes Maya, really likes seeing her silly smile at him; such a Maya makes him feel very comfortable and at ease.
Then he asked again, "Do you miss ?"
Maya looked at the man’s serious appearance, blushing, and said, "I do."
"How much do you miss ?"
"Without you, I’m not used to it," she answered truthfully, as she truly was not used to it.
"Maya, say you miss ."
"Liam, I miss you," Maya obeyed, afraid he would hang up, but after saying it, she felt happy herself.
Liam looked at the girl’s shy and charming appearance, smiling ear to ear, lying on the bed, staring intently at Maya on the phone, not blinking; this feeling of being able to see but not touch is damn unbearable.
"Maya, I really miss you, really want to hug you, really miss you," Liam suddenly beca very sentintal because he just missed her!
"Kiss-kiss, I’ll be back soon," Maya looked at the man’s deep eyes, her heart lting, imdiately puckered up and blew two kisses to the phone as a sign of comfort.
"Maya, what should I do? I miss you so much I can’t work."
Maya looked at his pitiful appearance, feeling torn between laughing and crying, she said, "It’s all my fault, I shouldn’t have called you."
"Maya, don’t think I won’t rember,"
"This ti, I won’t beg for rcy." Actually, she really missed him.
"Alright! If you say so."
Right after, Liam lifted the blanket again, lay on his side on the bed, reminding her, "Maya, what were you about to say about your uncle?"
"Oh, you led astray and I forgot the important stuff." Maya frowned, smacked her forehead, completely dumbfounded by Liam’s teasing and jokes.
She imdiately fixed her pajama, sat cross-legged on the bed, and asked mysteriously, "Do you know my uncle found an aunt?"
"Hmm! Your uncle should find you an aunt, instead of just focusing on money," Liam casually said.
"But, do you know who that aunt is?"
"Who is it?" Liam frowned; he really couldn’t guess.
"Ahem ahem ahem!" Maya pretended to clear her throat, then seriously said, "Liam, I officially announce to you that when you co back from your business trip, start addressing Sister Jane Spencer as Aunt."
She deliberately emphasized the words Sister Jane Spencer and Aunt.
"Oh! Got it." Liam responded very nonchalantly.
"Oh? Aren’t you surprised? Aren’t you shocked?" Maya couldn’t understand Liam’s calm deanor.
"The two of them can be together." Liam paused for a mont, then added, "Not surprising."
"Alright! You have a strong ability to accept things. Quickly get up to earn money and support !" Maya realized they’ve been chatting for an hour when she checked the ti again, and hurriedly urged Liam to get up.
"Hmm! There’s a eting in the morning; I’ll call you tonight. Sleep well and tuck yourself in." Liam beca more and more gentle with Maya.
Maya listened to his instructions, quickly nodding, but after hanging up, she struggled to fall asleep, with Liam’s shadow lingering in her mind; nights without him were really hard, so she moved back to Liam’s villa the next day to wait for him.
That morning, Maya was practicing calligraphy in the study when the door was knocked.
She weakly said, "Co in!"
But the door wasn’t pushed open, it just kept knocking.
Maya helplessly put down the pen and walked to the door, mumbling, "Who is it? Acting so important, insisting I open the door myself."
