Imdiately, she hugged Elijah Reed and bit down hard, finally sinking her teeth into so flesh.
"Mmm..." She then heard Elijah’s moan, which made her blush.
Although it was just a moan of pain, it sounded as suggestive as any intimate noise.
At that mont, Ella Turner snapped her eyes open, realizing she had done sothing foolish, letting Elijah take advantage of her. Moreover, she had been the one to initiate it. Thinking about how she had hugged him and bitten him for quite a while just now, Ella felt embarrassed.
She quickly got up from him and awkwardly said, "There’s no at on your face, I won’t bite anymore, take to the hospital."
Since there was no way to return the favor, she would make him bleed at the hospital. No way she’d let him off for biting her.
"You already bit, and you still want to go to the hospital? No way," Elijah objected.
"I didn’t really bite, take to the hospital," Ella insisted, being unreasonable. She didn’t really bite after all.
"Elijah," Liam Spencer called out to Elijah.
"BOSS!" Elijah grumbled.
But in the end, he still took Ella away.
In the cafe, Maya Spencer turned her head to look at Liam, and asked seriously, "Elijah was so unwilling, they won’t end up fighting, will they?"
"They won’t. I already instructed him to apologize until Ella Turner is satisfied," Liam said, lifting Maya’s chin and giving her a light peck.
"Then I have to call Ella," Maya imdiately took out her phone and called Ella, telling her to feel free to make Elijah pay.
This way, they’d be entangled endlessly. Only with entanglent could their relationship develop!
On the other end, Ella listened to Maya’s report, beaming with joy, even forgetting that her face still hurt when she smiled!
In the hospital, Elijah led Ella to the doctor’s office they had an appointnt with. Ella grabbed the doctor’s arm and said, "Doctor, I’d like a full-body CT scan, an MRI, blood tests, a head-to-toe check-up, and don’t miss a single hair!"
Beside her, Elijah watched Ella’s unreasonable demands, took a deep breath, placed his hands on his hips, and suppressed his dissatisfaction, gritting his teeth, "Ella, I just bit you once. Is this really necessary?"
Listening to his question, Ella slowly turned around, glanced at him, and said nonchalantly, "Yes, it’s necessary!"
Seeing her being so unreasonable, Elijah angrily nodded, "Fine! Fine! Fine! Check-ups, if you want it, you got it."
So, very reluctantly, he let the doctor perform a full examination on Ella.
He looked at the bill, trembling with anger, knowing well enough that Ella was scamming him, yet unable to retaliate.
After the examination, the doctor reminded them, "Miss Turner, so results won’t be available today; you’ll need to co back the day after tomorrow to collect them."
Ella listened to the doctor with a blooming smile, "Alright, thank you, doctor. I’ll co here to get the report at 9 am the day after tomorrow."
After talking to the doctor, she imdiately turned around, put on a stern face, and seriously asked Elijah, "Assistant Reed, rember to pick up the health report at 9 am the day after tomorrow, understand?"
Looking at the girl’s arrogant deanor, Elijah lifted his right hand, pointed at her, finally clenched his fist, and shook it in the air, grimly smiling, "Alright, 9 am the day after tomorrow."
To expedite resolving the matter, Elijah swallowed his discontent and obediently agreed to Ella’s demands.
After leaving the hospital, Elijah, with much disdain, pulled Ella by the wrist and shoved her into the passenger seat of his car, solemnly warning her, "Ella Turner, the check-up is done, stop causing trouble, I’ll take you ho now."
Listening to Elijah’s warning, Ella gave him a fake smile and then raised her right leg, kicking him away from the car door with a "whoosh," slamming the door shut.
She thought, having her face bitten like this, did he think a single check-up would compensate her? Was it that easy? Didn’t her fragile heart deserve so comfort?
So, after Elijah got in the car, she crossed her arms nonchalantly, turned to him and said, "I was supposed to go shopping with Maya today, but you ruined our plan, now you must accompany shopping."
"Ella Turner, enough is enough, don’t push it," Elijah resisted, knowing that a trip to the departnt store would drain his pockets.
"Oh, my face hurts so much!" Seeing Elijah still refusing, Ella didn’t argue, just covered her face, feigning pain.
In the driver’s seat, seeing the girl’s pretense made Elijah fu with anger, yet he couldn’t bite her again.
Now, with BOSS not on his side, all he could do was let Ella have her way.
Thus, looking at Ella, he said angrily, "Fine, I’ll go with you, is that okay?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he slamd the pedal to the tal, the car zood off in an instant.
In the passenger seat, Ella, focused on giving Elijah a hard ti, forgot to fasten her seatbelt; when the car suddenly sped up and turned sharply, she scread, "Ah..." and her body slamd against the right car door, her head banging against the side window.
Instantly, Elijah panicked, realizing he had taken the joke too far, reflexively slamd the brakes, but Ella, unprepared, lurched forward again, hitting the dashboard.
When Elijah stopped the car, he saw Ella clutching her chest, bent over, with her head down, not moving, but breathing heavily.
"I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I didn’t notice you hadn’t fastened your seatbelt," Elijah was flustered, completely at a loss, continuously apologizing to her.
Faced with Elijah’s apologies, Ella gave no response, feeling dazed from the collision, her head buzzing, and her chest hurting.
If she recovered, she would surely tear Elijah apart.
Seeing Ella’s unresponsive state, Elijah carefully grabbed her arm with his right hand, asking, "Are you alright?"
It was then that Ella turned around and glared at him, wishing her eyes could kill him.
Elijah, seeing the resentnt in her eyes and then at her little hand clutching her chest, felt awkward and imdiately turned the car around, heading back to the hospital for a second check-up.
In the examination room, the doctor looked at the two of them, adjusted his glasses, and said helplessly, "The impact on the head and chest is not problematic."
Then, he turned to Elijah and said, "You’re her boyfriend, right? If everything is fine, help massage her more so it won’t turn into a bruise."
Both Elijah and Ella, listening to the doctor’s words, blushed instantly, but neither explained their relationship.
Elijah, seeing Ella’s sulky look, suddenly leaned forward towards her. Ella quickly stretched out her little hand against his chest, frowned, and nervously asked, "What are you trying to do?"
