"Maya, could it be your third brother!" Ella sat on the sofa, tightly clutching a cushion, terrified out of her wits.

"Probably not! He doesn’t know I’m here, I didn’t even tell Sister Taylor." Even though Maya said this, she had a 50% feeling that it was Liam who had co.

"I’ll go check!" Ella said as she put on her shoes and went to check the surveillance screen.

Then, she started shouting, "Maya, it’s really your third brother, he’s right at the door."

"Maya, open the door!" As soon as Ella finished speaking, Liam’s voice rang out from outside the door.

"What do we do? What do we do?" Ella panicked now, her small hands clenched into fists, pacing back and forth in the living room.

Perhaps because Liam had been her principal, she had a natural fear of him.

"No worries! We just pretend we’re not at ho." Maya was quite calm. After all, it wasn’t her first ti facing off with Liam; she was used to it.

"Maya, I’m counting to three. If you don’t co out, don’t bla for being rude."

"1, 2, 3~" Liam counted quickly, not giving a mont’s pause.

And as soon as he finished speaking, the room went completely dark.

This jerk, he flipped the main switch outside.

Soon after, Maya’s phone started ringing—Elijah’s number showed up.

She knew that the person calling was definitely not Elijah, but Liam.

Maya swallowed hard and answered the phone.

As soon as she answered, she heard a voice coming through. He said, "Maya, you’re quite bold! Ignoring my calls."

Maya listened to the man’s questioning and stamred, "Why... why are you... doing this today? What’s the point of being so fierce?"

"Open the door now, co ho with ."

"I’m not going back. Your apology letter is not done yet."

"The apology letter is done, hurry up and co out." Liam bluffed and coaxed. He had indeed written an apology letter, but it wasn’t finished.

"Then read it to once, and I’ll go out." Maya rembered how Liam used to make her read an apology letter in every class.

So now, she’s just using the sa trick against him.

Outside, Elijah listened to Maya’s request and couldn’t help but laugh silently. When has the BOSS ever read an apology letter? It’s usually others who write apologies for him!

Liam heard her unreasonable demand, got so angry that he put his hands on his hips and paced back and forth.

He said, "Maya, co out while I’m still calm."

"Why do you have the right to be mad! Do the wrong thing, you have to admit it, you have to apologize. Isn’t that your style of handling things?" Maya deliberately pushed him to back down.

At this mont, Liam chased her from ho, where would she dare to open the door or go back with him? Deep down, she was quite scared of Liam’s fierceness.

Though she’d also considered this situation beforehand, she had to do it for the greater good!

"Alright! Alright! I’ll read! I’ll read!" At last, Liam took a deep breath and agreed to recite the apology letter.

Thinking, once this scoundrel cos out, they’ll talk things over properly and see who really needs to apologize.

"Hm!" Inside the house, Maya nodded in agreent while pondering how to bargain with him next, get herself a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Shortly after, she heard Liam’s voice from outside, "Dear fiancee, Maya Spencer, I, on July 20, 2016, due to entertaining a female colleague unrelated to work in the office, caused Maya Spencer’s dissatisfaction, hereby make the following apology."

"Pfft!" Inside and outside, both Ella and Elijah couldn’t help but burst into laughter at his apology.

"Damn!" Then, they heard Liam curse.

He thought, this is unbelievable, he’s actually reading an apology letter now.

At this mont, he even had a bit of a mind to demolish the building. Maya’s tricks are getting more and more abundant—the one who really should apologize is obviously her, yet she turns the tables.

After the cursing, Liam took a deep breath, suppressing his anger, and tried to threaten calmly, "Maya, I’m giving you one last chance, or I’ll break down the door."

"Boss lady, there really are helpers downstairs." Elijah fibbed to Maya to quickly end this farce.

Inside the house, the two girls each held up their phones, illuminating each other’s faces, hearts pounding "thump! thump! thump!" without stopping.

Finally, Maya decided to go back with Liam! She feared he’d really break down the door and disturb the neighbors’ sleep.

If the police ca, she’d still have to visit the police station and end up being caught by him anyway.

But for her life’s safety, she didn’t imdiately open the door but hid by the door and negotiated terms with Liam.

She said, "Fine, I’ll open the door, but you can’t hit , curse ! You can’t do anything against my will."

"I promise you, just open the door!" At this point, no matter what Maya said, Liam would agree.

After negotiating all the conditions, Maya slowly opened the room door, sticking out half her head, looking at Elijah standing behind Liam, saying, "First, switch the power back on for us."

Elijah heard her order and imdiately complied.

Three seconds later, the room beca bright again.

Maya still poked her head out the door, reminding him, "Today it’s your mistake, yet you’re still acting all self-righteous."

The man watched her sticking her little head out and swiftly reached out his right hand, pinching her ear.

He said, "You did nothing wrong, what are you hiding for? Why are you acting guilty?"

"Let go! Let go! You promised, you wouldn’t hit ," Maya struggled while gripping onto Liam’s big hand.

Originally, she thought to escape back inside when the situation wasn’t favorable.

Now she’s pinched by the ear, there’s no way to run.

"I didn’t say I wouldn’t pinch your ear," Liam retorted, and pulled her out of the house.

Seeing this, Ella grabbed Maya’s left hand, trying to pull her back inside to protect her.

But this tug made Maya’s ear hurt even more.

So, they heard her loudly shout, "Ella, stop pulling , if you keep pulling my ear’s gonna fall off."

Ella heard Maya shouting about her ear falling off, imdiately let go of her hand, and rushed outside, hugging Liam’s arm, pleading, "Principal, don’t be like this, Maya didn’t an it."

Liam watched the two putting on a lodramatic act, laughing and crying, dragged Maya’s ear, "Where did you et those shady people?" he asked.

"Who! I don’t know any shady people, the dodgiest one here is you!" Maya might have been confused by the pinching and didn’t realize Liam was referring to the maid.

Beside them, Elijah watching such a funny scene, felt ecstatic.

He thought, it’s great that Miss Maya is back, it’s been ages since he’s seen the BOSS laugh.

"Maya, I think you’ll only cry when you see the coffin."

"My ear’s gonna fall off, just let go." Maya continued shouting, following Liam into the elevator, and Ella also followed inside when she saw this.
