Liam looked at the girl who was utterly stunned, pinched her little face, and said, "I think changing the agreent to a monetary basis is more advantageous for ."
Beside them, Maya was still in a daze, completely ignoring the man’s proposal.
Two hundred billion! Two hundred billion! Two hundred billion!
Her mind was filled only with the number two hundred billion and Liam’s slightly aggrieved yet handso face.
Seeing her still in a silly daze, the man lifted her face and kissed her rudely.
It was only when she struggled for breath that Maya ca to her senses, pushing him away, and said sowhat sheepishly, "Don’t think that just because you’ve signed one project I won’t hate you. I still hate you."
"Hmm! Hate as you will, but what needs to be done still needs to be done! One thing doesn’t affect the other," Liam said as he lifted her up, sitting her on his lap, and stared at her intently.
Maya was exceptionally beautiful, the kind who beca prettier the more you looked at her.
Every ti he saw her little face, as long as she didn’t throw a tantrum, Liam was in a good mood.
"No! I just said, the last thing hasn’t been fulfilled yet, you can’t owe any more," Maya said as she pushed him away, rolling to the side to keep her distance.
However, she didn’t know that Liam actually liked the way she bargained with him.
This side of Maya was very cute.
Seeing her flee, Liam said, "Then beg !"
"Pfft!" Maya couldn’t help but burst into laughter at his suggestion.
When she laughed, Liam laughed too.
The atmosphere tonight was particularly good, just right for making ands and talking love!
Yet, all this had to be credited to Old Master Spencer.
If he hadn’t ddled and announced their engagent, making them realize they’d been duped.
So it unified their stance, emotionally, Old Master Spencer was the manipulator, their shared enemy.
As the saying goes, people lacking common ground can’t collaborate. Yet now they found a common target to oppose, and involuntarily shifted their mutual dislike, seeing each other as both being used, thus not as much hate remained.
After laughing, Maya raised her small hands, rested them on Liam’s shoulders casually, and said, "I’m not that stupid!"
"You an you didn’t enjoy it?" Liam looked at the girl’s innocent deanor, grabbed her wrists, pinned them above her head, and bit her nose, demanding.
Hearing his insistence, Maya imdiately turned her head away, denying, "No!"
So began a head-shaking contest, Maya constantly dodging his questions, while Liam persistently pursued, unwilling to let her go until she admitted.
Eventually, Maya’s head was almost dizzy from shaking, suppressing laughter, she feigned seriousness and asked, "Stupid, aren’t you?"
The man looked into her bright eyes, imdiately let go of her wrists, freed his hand, lifted her from the bed and tightly embraced her, kissing her deeply.
Maya felt his gentle kiss, montarily bewitched, she extended her small hands, gently hooking around his neck.
Perhaps it was because the moonlight tonight was too beautiful, shining into the room, making the atmosphere particularly alluring.
Perhaps it was due to mutual physical need, thus Maya didn’t resist.
Or perhaps she was moved by the re thought of two hundred billion just now, so she didn’t push him away.
Their lips t, past mories replayed like a movie in their minds.
She rembered when she first t him, it was awkward, their introduction wasn’t pleasant.
He rembered when he first t her, there was a hint of embarrassnt in her eyes.
Once, they had a brief good ti together, but being drugged ruined it.
What occurred later were things both preferred not to recall.
Those mories, for them, were too harsh, yet imnsely precious, at least for Liam, they were treasured.
Monts later, after the kiss, he held her face tenderly, the smile on his face genuinely happy.
Looking at her earnestly, he cheekily said, "Give it twice!"
Listening to his request, she bit her lower lip tightly, nodded, and agreed.
Seeing her consent, Liam smiled brightly, raised his right hand,
Imdiately, she was devoured cleanly, so cleanly that she cried out admitting her comfort, only then did he let her go.
At this point, the night sky was calm, Maya nestled in his arms, breathing gently, the earlier delight gradually fading, although her body still trembled slightly.
Tonight’s atmosphere made her feel strangely eerie, yet she couldn’t pinpoint precisely why or how. After all, it wasn’t her first ti sleeping with Liam.
Feeling her breathing, Liam held her tighter, seemingly enjoying this quiet atmosphere.
Until monts later when soone’s stomach grumbled, instantly making the atmosphere awkward.
When she heard soone’s stomach growl, Maya raised her hand and slapped him, saying, "You’re disturbing my sleep."
The man took her slap, grievance evident, complained: "Ungrateful little thing, still scornful of , hurry up and make sothing to eat."
"I can’t do it, you’ll eat tomorrow."
"Maya, are you trying to starve ,
"Is there only one man in this world?"
"Maya! Go and make sothing to eat."
"I really can’t, I’ll ask Sister Taylor to make it for you."
"No way, you do it."
Ultimately, forced by circumstance, unwillingly Maya climbed out of bed and went to the kitchen together with him.
Both were kitchen idiots, after much chaos, they finally managed to cook a bowl of egg noodles.
At the dining table, Maya propped her chin, looking at the man opposite her, her heart filled with self-resentnt.
She thought, how does she always fall into his trap, clearly determined to act aloof! Aloof! Aloof...
Why does she still fall into his pit.
Until Liam finished eating, they returned to the room, bathed again, changed clothes, and then embraced each other in sleep.
The night was deep and serene, Liam slept soundly, Maya nestled against him, yet her brow remained furrowed.
"Aunt Hannah, please, save my child, he’s ill and needs a doctor, please let the doctor co, okay?"
