What Elia Spencer never expected was that when she pushed open the door to Henry Reid’s hospital room, she saw both Maya Spencer and Sienna Carter there, and also a strange woman. Seeing the scene in the hospital room, Elia raised the corners of her mouth and thought to herself, well this is lively, we could even gather a group for mahjong.

Inside the hospital room, several won saw Maya arrive and all exploded at once, their glances almost wishing to tear her apart.

Led by Elia, she quickly walked up to Maya, angrily questioning her, "Maya, you still have the face to co here? Isn’t harming Henry enough for you?"

Maya looked at Elia’s furious little eyes, frowned, and dug her ear, asking, "Why didn’t you dare to say anything when you were at ho in the morning? Could it be, the person who pushed into the sea that night was you, and now you’re trying to cover it up?"

Hearing the girl’s accusations, Elia gritted her teeth in anger and said, "If it were , I definitely wouldn’t let anyone see it. I’d make sure to drown you, so your body would sink to the sea depths, never to see daylight again."

The girl’s venom made Maya feel uncomfortable. For the ager money of the Spencer Family, each of them was ready to take her life. Was her life that worthless? Maya thought that one day, when they had nothing left, what else would they have to haughtily show?

She glanced at Elia and nonchalantly said, "Sorry to disappoint you! But you and Sienna Carter didn’t drug , and I didn’t sleep with Henry. Henry’s feelings for wouldn’t go so deep as to jump into the sea to save , so Henry’s current situation is caused by you."

Maya thought, feeling guilty towards soone you like must be very painful! Therefore, she deliberately said these words more and more, to make Elia and Sienna suffer and make them uncomfortable for a lifeti.

However, Maya’s tactic worked, and as soon as she finished speaking, Sienna, who was ready to denounce her, stopped. She couldn’t help but consider there might be so truth to Maya’s words. As the saying goes, one night as husband and wife, a hundred days of grace. Not to ntion Henry liked her and naturally wouldn’t watch her die with his eyes open.

At this mont, she not only hated Maya but also hated Elia, blaming her for dragging her down, leaving her with nothing.

She couldn’t fight Maya now, so she was too lazy to battle with her, pulling her friend along, and leaving the hospital room as they brushed past Maya, she stopped, turned her head, and stared at her, saying, "Maya, I will settle the score with you slowly."

"Ha!" Maya let out a cold laugh twice, completely disregarding her, but thinking about how she got caught having an affair with Christopher Scott and had her engagent called off, she felt sowhat balanced.

Elia, thinking of Sienna’s miserable plight, quickly sat by Henry’s hospital bed, gently stroking his head, checking his temperature.

She felt guilty and couldn’t overpower Maya, and with Sienna gone, she dared not act rashly or confront Maya anymore. Now with her third brother covering her, she couldn’t provoke anyone she pleased, especially with the previous incident of drugging Maya, where she was the mastermind; she knew Maya wouldn’t let her off so easily.

Maya saw Elia’s guilt and slightly raised the corners of her mouth, sitting on the sofa beside, she stared at Elia’s eyes and asked, "Fourth sister, what are you hiding from? Are you afraid I’ll push you down from the hospital room?"

"Killing is punishable by death."

"Oh! You knew that! Then how many lives must you pay back with?"

"Maya, I’m not here to argue with you. Henry treated you well, he’s still in a coma now, can’t you let him have a mont of peace?"

In Elia’s eyes, Maya was just a desperado, no mother, no concerns, not even caring for her life. Just having walked through the gates of hell, she could still be so spirited—her courage, she didn’t have. So towards Maya, Elia grew more afraid and feared being alone with her.

"Ha!" Hearing the girl’s excuse, Maya sneered coldly, wondering, earlier wasn’t she quite arrogant? How co as soon as Sienna left, she wilted, afraid I’d hit her?

Thinking of this, Maya looked up, eyeing Henry on the hospital bed and Elia’s nervous deanor, she was montarily moved inside.

She couldn’t understand how soone as bad as her could like soone so much. Moreover, what does liking soone feel like? How can it make a person lose their dignity, do all kinds of bad deeds?

Maya knew Elia’s hatred for her mainly stemd from Henry’s feelings for her, not because of the Spencer Family’s property.

This kind of hatred, she couldn’t understand.

So she asked, "If Henry never wakes up, do you still love him?"

"Yes!"

"Even if you end up a widow for life?" This was what Liam had threatened her with today.

"Yes!" Elia’s answer was still those two words.

Listening to the girl’s affirmation, Maya was stunned; she couldn’t digest her perspective.

A mont later, she asked a very silly question, "What does liking him feel like?"

"Ha! Ha!" Obviously, Elia found her question ridiculous.

After laughing, she said, "Maya, you live so selfishly, how can you possibly like soone else? You will never understand that feeling."

Maya listened to the girl’s ridicule, and indifferently said, "You like him, besides pain, what else is there?"

"If it weren’t for you, Henry might have liked ." Then she continued, "Aren’t you nice to the Turner siblings? That’s the taste of friendship, the taste of love is even more intense. Maya, I wish you, may the person you like, never like you!"

"Thank you!" Listening to her curse, Maya casually said thank you, the reason she felt so at ease was that she knew she wouldn’t like anyone else in this lifeti.

"Don’t act so composed, by then, the feelings I have now, you will experience. What goes around must co around, don’t think all n will revolve around you."

"Mm! Your opinion, I accept it." She still had an indifferent, icy, and cold deanor.

Afterwards, the two fell into silence, Maya sat foolishly on the sofa, while Elia was staring intently at Henry.

Half an hour later, Maya’s phone rang, it was her elder sister calling, she looked at the caller ID, took a deep breath and thought, if her elder sister asked her to go back for dinner, how would she explain the matter of staying at Liam’s house?

Debating for a mont, she still answered the call, and she asked, "Sis, what’s up?"

"Maya, where are you now?"

"At the hospital, Henry’s room."

"I heard from grandpa that you’ll be helping out at Owen Clan Group for the next few days and not coming ho, is that right?"

"Mm!"

"Do you rember what I told you last ti? I’ll have soone deliver the contract to you now, can you find ti to have Liam sign it?"

"Mm!" Maya listened to her sister’s words and still nodded in agreent.
