So, with both of her idle hands, she hastily grabbed her dress to prevent further embarrassnt.
Liam looked at her little gesture and then couldn’t help but laugh with a "pfft!"
He asked, "Don’t you think it’s unnecessary?"
"Don’t you think it’s shaless?" she retorted.
"Maya, you look beautiful today."
"Third brother, can we be normal for once?" Every ti he called her Maya, it was like he wanted her to think about him.
"I like being abnormal."
Maya understood the deeper aning in Liam’s words, this jerk was teasing her again, hinting he wanted sothing thrilling, but she didn’t like it!
So, she placed her hands on his chest and said, sowhat aggrievedly, "Third brother, don’t do this, the auction is about to start, and you brought a date today, don’t let her search for you."

Thus, Liam looked at her delicate deanor, seeing that she didn’t lose her temper or seriously clash with him but instead called him third brother sweetly, and feeling gratified, he pinched her chin and said, "I’ll spare you for now, but once the auction ends, I’ll deal with you."

Maya agreed perfunctorily, thinking once the auction ended, she’d cling shalessly to her older sister and see how he could make a move, or she’d try to bond with his date and hang out with her, seeing how he’d deal, Maya thought the second option was quite good, it would have an inhibiting effect on a certain soone.
"Maya, don’t try any tricks, you won’t escape," Liam saw her rolling eyes and knew she was plotting so bad idea to avoid him.
But, as for her, he was always determined to get what he wanted, as long as he was willing, there was no escaping.

"Maya, are you there?" As the two of them ca to an agreent, suddenly Elia’s voice rang from outside the door. So, Maya imdiately pushed the man away and tidied the bed sheets and blanket.
"What’s Elia doing here looking for you?" Elia’s appearance caught the man a bit off guard.
"You hide for a mont, I’ll go open the door." Saying that, Maya pushed Liam into the wardrobe.
This ti, Liam refused. At ho, he had to hide; arriving at the cruise, he still had to hide; moreover, he hadn’t done anything to her just now, and now the person coming was Elia, he was too lazy to hide.
So, he grabbed Maya’s little wrist, tossed her aside, and with a mind of his own, walked to the door and opened it.
Inside the room, Maya was stunned, thinking, could this man be a bit mindful, last ti the two of them had already been caught in an embarrassing scene by Elia, and now being caught again, she wouldn’t be surprised if he randomly said sothing inappropriate.

At the doorway, Elia saw that the person who opened the door for her was the third brother, she was startled and awkwardly explained, "Third brother, I seem to have gone to the wrong room."
"Nope, this is Maya’s room."
"Elia, do you need sothing? I was discussing work matters with third brother." Maya feared the man would intentionally speak randomly, so she quickly seized control of the conversation to explain the innocence between them to Elia.
Little did she know, the more she explained, the less Elia would believe, she only thought Maya was trying to cover things up and deceive herself.
However, Elia wasn’t foolish, regardless of the doubts in her mind, she wouldn’t speak randomly in front of Liam, so she spoke very gently.
"Nothing, just wanted to chat with you."
In the room, the three of them maintained their own intentions without exposing one another, each acting out their own scenes. Wait, Liam wasn’t acting, he simply didn’t care to explain, looking at the two little ones pretending, he found it amusing.
Maya seeing his indifferent expression, angrily rolled her eyes, after which she sweetly smiled and said, "Third brother, regarding the project, I’ll go to the office after work to discuss with you, you go ahead and keep busy!"
The man watched Maya’s inadequate cover-up, disdainfully gave a cold laugh, rolled his eyes greatly, and then left her room.
Once the man left, Maya’s expression abruptly turned cold, she glanced at Elia and asked, "Are you thinking of kneeling to beg ?"
Listening to Maya’s questioning, Elia took a deep breath, pretended to be calm, and explained to her in a submissive manner, "Maya, I really like Henry Reid, you probably know! I admit I’m not as pretty or talented as you, Henry likes you. Yes, I’m here to beg you, to ask you to help , help get rid of Sienna, okay?"
"Hehe!" Maya watched her humble deanor and couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head helplessly.
Thinking, is this still the Elia she knew daily? For the sake of a man, she’s actually admitting her inferiority and weakness. Apparently, love really does make one bewildered; fortunately, she has no loved ones, apart from herself, so she doesn’t need to humble herself for anyone.
At the sa ti, she thought Elia was foolish, if a man doesn’t like her, why the constant pursuit, is there any point?
She could never awaken soone pretending to be asleep, even if she did her best, Henry wouldn’t see or like her, just like her feelings toward Henry, even though over the past half-year, he was the warmth he gave her the most, he cared for her the most, she just didn’t like him, such things can’t be forced.
So, she took a deep breath, crossed her arms, looked sowhat helplessly at Elia, and said, "Are you stupid? Henry doesn’t like you, no matter how much you give, he won’t see, instead he’ll find you annoying, is there any aning? You should leave! Even if you kneel to , I can’t help you."
Maya wasn’t being heartless; she just thought it had no aning, felt Elia’s actions were redundant, basically had no impact. Plus, she didn’t want to stir up stuff with Henry, n are troubleso to deal with.
Listening to Maya’s refusal, Elia got anxious, grabbed her arm, and pleaded, "Maya, I’m begging you, okay? I really like Henry, I don’t need you to do much, just smile at Henry, talk to him for a bit, give him that tiny bit of hope, and he’ll dump Sienna. For whatever we’ve shared as kin, help just once, can’t you? Consider it as I owe you, I’ll repay you later."
Watching the girl’s persistent pleading, Maya coldly brushed her hand away and said, "I won’t help you, the man you like has to be pursued by yourself." Maya was resolute in her decision not to help, all that nonsense about blood relations, she’d prefer them staying far away, don’t disgust her, it sounds laughable.
"Do you really need to kneel before you’d help ?"
